Ok maybe a stupid question, but here it goes. My front end is stripped, would I install the bumper brackets before or after my front valance? Thank you.
I happen to be reading “Shelby’s Wildlife” which has pretty complete specs for the 289 in its various configurations. If the 65’s 289 is solid it could be the foundation of a cool build. But sourcing the parts might be tough.
It's awesome to see the process step by step
The new chrome bumpers look great!
that made a big difference. my 66 came with NO front bumper, no brackets, no bumper guards, no valance, and no stone deflector. ha
Full rebuild of the 289 lower end. Edelbrock heads, cam and intake. Holly sniper EFI.
can you provide a link to get the swivel?

what do you spray down the bolts with?
Love restoration vids.
My bumper bolt kit came with some shims. I didn't see you install any shims.

Why the swivel just take off the whole bracket and reinstall on the new one
That way absolutely works too, I have had issues with that bracket in the past and chose the swivel option.
Awsome will be ordering soon , I want to talk on phone first ,nitrostang
How about a straight 6 to a v8 conversion video.
Leave the paint the way it is and clear coat it
Is it just me or is Bill looking thin?
I wouldn't say thin but I am down 20 lbs since October :)
:D
Never get rid of original bumper,😢 better quality than repop,👎
Not if your bumpers have rust holes in them lol
