A good tip is that, while you cannot see resources, you can still figure out where they are by selecting a melee operator. To get the RA store rewards, you can just do the wipe strategy. Survive until the 4th day and wipe. Do 3 Encounter nodes and instantly flee 3 Combat nodes (don't bring anyone in the team). The points are distributed on the 4th day. As for the Caper outfit, you don't need to play RA to get it. Just do your farm and base upkeep and you should get the outfit eventually. The workshop is great for making ops needing to restore morale.
I was so clueless about that game mode, I think I made an irreversible mistake when I upgraded the base to level 2 before farming materials and it seemed to trigger a very challenging fight coming to my base and also triggered a thunder storm and acid rain( which causes my operators to lose health and holds less materials), and the worst part is I couldn't find a way to reverse back to day1. So I needed to farm all the materials with only a few days to prepare for that fight while under thunder storm, which caused the farming less efficient. I finally cleared that fight, and the game became easy again. I guessed I was pushed to learn all the mechanics in that game mode.
The hard part of RA is the beginning as you can be too fast to expand thus forcing the scenario to continue (basically you will need to beat boss attacking your camp). But as long as take your time (and select peaceful mode if you want), it is becoming easier. Albeit lot of people do cheat run (restart restart restart), the reality, you can get more point if you continue to play. The restart method for RA is only valid due to there is no peaceful mode. With introduction of peaceful mode, more point will be acumulated if you progress the game really well (including mine a lot). Heck currently I get 3k point by doing nothing lol (just select the node with scenario and set expedition).
twitter hates the caper skin, but (casual?) arknight player hates reclamation algorithm and having hard time doing that once you have established headquarter and resource node cleared, it is become enjoyable
It's funny. When the first iteration of this gamemode came out, it only gave a minimal tutorial before throwing players into the fire to discover things on their own, but players ended up confused and hating that. So the devs heard loud and clear, and made the tutorial this time around much more intensive. But I guess there are players like yourself who hate that instead. Goes to show there's not much winning as a game developer :P Hope you come to enjoy RA as much as I do. In a similar fashion to games like Don't Starve, it's a lot of fun to build yourself up and explore. Although, it's more so structured for late-game accounts. So maybe it will be something you come back to later.
[edit] Caper is a child, though her actual age is unspecified. She's a dedicated prankster with a rough childhood, despite that she sure as hell acts like a brat and pulls pranks just for the sake of "having fun", although tbh her struggles aren't really enough to really forgive how annoying she is, even if deep down she means well. You can recruit her from the store and is the only loopshooter in the game until Narantuya comes out in a few months. She can be pretty decent under the right circumstances.

always a good day when ak's 3rd most hated youtuber posts. RA is mostly a late game mode, but it's actually widely disliked even more so than IS. if you want the rewards from shop, there are yt tutorials for how to farm the first 4 or so days. quite quick and easy, and you can do that until you build up a stacked enough roster to tackle the gamemode for real.
Welcome to The Sands, this is basically Arknights' take on an "open-world exploration/survival" mode. You explore different areas to collect resources, hunt animals, cook food, build tools and constructs, fight enemies, etc. for as long as you can. You lose if enemies raid your base and destroy your headquarters, though you'll be rewarded based on activity and surviving. However, if you do lose, you have the option to go back to the last 3-6 days and try again. The longer you survive, the easier it is to keep going.
I really don't like what RA features and need help with more info on it. There's just too much to do (story, base defense and building, resource gather, explore, weather debuffs)and is very uncomfortable when your stuck between bosses that destroy your base and resetting to before hard milestones(base leveling, skill tree leveling, area unlocks). I still have no idea how it's supposed to end, I'm day 27 and only unlocked the south land. I don't defense build base (too expensive), and focused on leveling base, explore, and resource. I need someone to tell me the progression and any missing mechanics to unlock because only now i can apparently gain permanent buffs for ops through exotic beast hunting.
Honestly, there's like 3 objectives for the event (that gives you the Caper skin) that's easily completed by just surviving 9 total days without your base getting destroyed. The other RA-related ones might just be way too far into RA for you to do in time, so I say just test the waters while completing that so you can leave the grinding for later.
Tectone leaving Arknights for Genshin was pretty predictable, he found a new game to farm content and he jumps ship, nothing new there. But no, bro was 2 steps ahead. The guy took advantage of the hate he was getting and make it all about him being a victim and leaving, and he never stopped milking that cow even years later. "Oh btw did you guys know the AK community is toxic af? Here's my sob story" and repeat that for like 10 times and we got Tectone. Even his friends who have never heard of Arknights had to suffer through that. It takes effort to be that petty and you gotta give it to him lol.
well, he was right that Tectone is the most hated content creator, tbh when he say AK is bad, i knew immediately that he's full of sh*t, glad i never seen him anymore lol and i hope he never touch Endfield, btw i never touch RA since it was released LOL i hate that mode along with SSS xD
RA the "don't starve" survival mode, GL it requires alot. But yea make you do deal with your base and spend sanity and it'll help vs the missions for the skin.
if you're gonna play RA, start off with the easiest mode so you know how certain nodes work and it lets you cheese the rewards points. Then if you're feeling goofy switch the difficulty half way and play it as intended (totally not me rn)
Hmm… Tectone has had this exact problem with over 5 of the last few communities he’s been a part of. Something tells me that Arknights isn’t the sole factor and that there’s a common factor there. 🤔
you should be happy that you're actually getting a proper tutorial the one we got for RA1 was crap the main mechanic of this mode is fog of war, which exists on all map except your base this is why trees spawn in when you place something next to them you can guess where stuff is by trying to deploy a melee operator and looking for tiles that should be deployable, but are not
As someone with days upon days (irl and ingame) in RA, it's a decent mode for when you're bored but the early game is a steep climb of unlocking the map and farming resources. I advice you to turn on the normal mode in main menu as it is, I think, automatically set to hard mode (double stats for enemies, food costs way more etc) and there is 0 drawback if you put it into normal mode (which was later added cuz people complained about it lol). Anyways early game you unlock everything and do some farming, survival is easy, just upgrade your main base (the big thing in the middle) and maybe surround it with some stuff for raids coming to your HQ. That's about it. Once your base has hit a decent level you basically survive ANY raid if you dps them down with time. You can always repair any damage done with gold. So yeah, prioritise upgrading the base. Besides that, you'll unlock food buffs and useful stuff to bring along into stages a bit later into the game. Side note here, this mode is basically "lack of information - the gamemode" where you won't see shit unless you hover your operator over the ground (you'll see the undeployable tiles, those are usually your resource tiles) and anything outside your operators range will be blurred out/invisible. Fast redeploys (Gravel, Jaye) are very good in this mode to scout areas (where a boss or enemy you wanna kill is hiding etc). Overall, this game mode is a bit more advanced as to beat some of the bosses etc you'll need A LOT of units built. In general you'll operate with two full teams a day (you can always swap these around and add to them etc). Which means the gamemode kinda wants you to have at least two squads worth of operators built to be able to do everything and everyone needs to carry their weight plenty (you'll need a lot of CC, maybe high block to gather rss faster, high dps to deal with raids etc) otherwise it can get quite tough. However this mode also really rewards you for it with a bunch of exclusive stuff, such as a Hoshi skin, and a LOT of resources that would help you plenty to level/E2/mastery people. I highly recommend that you dip into this mode and linger around in early game to farm points and slowly clear some of the materials from the shop. It can really help you work on your current team. But same goes for any of the IS modes, they also offer you plenty of resources. Its just that here you can choose them freely within the tier (so if you unlock tier 1 you could pick ANYTHING from tier 1 in ANY order before you clear it all and then move onto the next tier). Anyways have fun, this mode can be hella fun but some bosses genuinely made me look up guides after years of playing cuz FUCK THE PRIESTESS!
not really watch by you failing, more like we all koko before we can dayo, it's all about the journey so we can't wait for that "yup I've been there" moment
The RA is very meh at best. Read all tutorial when I came back, understood almost nothing, restarted after failing, failed again. At the very least there is an insane cheesy method to gain fast points after playing for a couple of hours.
The tutorial is awful (seriously they don't even explain what the goal of each node type is beyond collecting and hunting.) But once you get the hang of it I think it's the best thing arknights has to offer. Just requires patience and a diverse (not meta, *diverse*) account.
You dont need to play RA to get the skin (or the rewards). The game mode existed before, and even though it's still terrible (at best 3/10), and the previous version was even worse. It's badly explained, awfully cheesy, requires a lot of specific characters, lacks QoL and is generally just unfun.
@@FirePrehistoric2 A lot of it is a LOT easier to do if you know what these blobs are ahead of time, and even once you play the stage and discover them, they're not revealed to you. So essentially this is one of these "check the itnernet for a guide or remember it perfectly because you already have the information, but the game doesnt help you.". Similar to roguelikes who dont even tell you what items do until you pick them up or something. Also the huge amount of clicking required just to like "feed" the units so you can use them. RA2 fixed it slightly but theres still so much that can be improved
@@Zero_Shift TBF IS is a lot like your first point too, remember the stages or look up guides. If you play RA a lot it'll be more of the former because theres like 3 good stages in the main map. the massive maps in ST tho probably would need to be looked up (or done a lot, which tbf i remember a couple of them pretty well) tho they are insane lol. But I do agree with the clicking to feed OPs part that could be made way better.
Honestly, this is the best first reaction ever to this mode. The mode introduced MANY things at once yet didn't give enough trials to try them, although for me personally, this mode has improved quite significantly from the first iteration. There were good criticism towards this mode at the first iteration which was released a year earlier than this one and you pretty much pointed out those flaws which are still there on this second iteration of this mode. So please just keep being dumb and genuinely confused as you are because with your findings, the dev can find ways to improve the game experience for everyone 👌😂

Also getting into the weeds of whatever's going on with the skin stuff is probably content poison lmao, Arknights contents generally reaches a broader audience demographic then other gachas on your docket so careful out there
Fun fact: Eunectes is a Northern Green Anaconda. You should see her mechanic skin at some point. Your exact reaction throughout your experience with Reclaimtion Algorithm was mine as well, lmao. Got to do it for Caper though, so I want those points as fast as possible, lol. (Also do burn stamina, interact with operators at your base, and defeat enemies in normal stages to get points for the skin as well)
But it became very interesting once I got the gist of it
You don't need to touch RA to get the skin by the way. I've almost unlocked the skin already without touching RA
@xtranathor8143 Yea, I found that out on day 2 of this mini event happening, lol
Tectone is literally schizophrenic beefing with like 3 dudes who don't agree with him (those same 3 dudes don't even reply most of the time) and saying game sucks community sucks and then proceeds to rant for 2 whole streams, create 4 seperate vids. He is beefing with nobody and honestly I can't fathom why some people even watch his streams when all he does is rant rant rant. He acting like andrew tate fighting the matrix like wtf
New Amiya skin droped for he birthday, u have see it if you like it
He was chill guy and watches him playing AK. In that's the time when GI released he wants to play it, their a lot of options to quit a game but he chose the bad way instead of peacefull exit after that drama, Don't know somehow he builds some kind of fetish where he really likes being hated.
Recently started playing RA too and it turned out to be so fun.
This mode is very new-player-unfriendly, but you have Waltuh. Though you may want to switch difficulty to at least normal, cause it starts on hard
Love Clay utterly bewildered at the concept of fog of war
0:30 if you did full dailies since event started, plus all the non reclamation algorhythm missions of the event, you get exactly 5000 points total, getting all the rewards.
So no, you don't need to do Reclamation Algorhythm
Hey, listen, 3 is still on the podium ya still earn a medal! also, you'll always be our number 1 wood gatherer ;)
I can already hear Supah angrily chopping wood
There are so many questions being asked in this video
If only there was some type of descriptions or explanations that could be read or something
@@Dandy_Flowers well tbh as someone on day 405 in RA I still don't understand several mechanics because they don't have explanations for some of them anywhere (love this gamemode to death and will defend it with my life though)
@virgondust Same lol, but only at day 150 after finishing story act 3. And what are the mechanics you don't understand. Also Slug racing is peak endgame arknights content
@@xxxx__zzz988 yeah I'm not too understanding of the capturing of the new elite beasts for my corral. I brought the elite moss beast to low health then used the trap net launcher but it just killed it instead so I'm confused and I don't want to waste the other 2 launchers I have cause they are expensive and I don't have any elite beasts in corrals to get the rare ingredients (the ones that allow for permanent buffs)
Clay there's a difference between hated to want to be... And you better be a good uncle😊
Tower of Tartarus for person 3 your welcome btw
To get the RA store rewards, you can just do the wipe strategy. Survive until the 4th day and wipe.
Do 3 Encounter nodes and instantly flee 3 Combat nodes (don't bring anyone in the team). The points are distributed on the 4th day.
As for the Caper outfit, you don't need to play RA to get it. Just do your farm and base upkeep and you should get the outfit eventually. The workshop is great for making ops needing to restore morale.
Tectone. He is the most hated man in Arknights
Right now I still collecting all of the forever food buff in feral strange territorial
Eunetics is a leg-goddes if Accahuala.
She has a skin that give her soome MORE clothes but in reality make her look more revealing)
You neither becoming arknights most hated content creator, or seeing youself becoming Tectone. This is the community we have.
Apparently, clay has made a new video.
Heck currently I get 3k point by doing nothing lol (just select the node with scenario and set expedition).
it's just a tectone mood swing thing to periodically switch sides for content obviously
twitter hates the caper skin, but (casual?) arknight player hates reclamation algorithm and having hard time doing that
once you have established headquarter and resource node cleared, it is become enjoyable
Goes to show there's not much winning as a game developer :P
Hope you come to enjoy RA as much as I do. In a similar fashion to games like Don't Starve, it's a lot of fun to build yourself up and explore. Although, it's more so structured for late-game accounts. So maybe it will be something you come back to later.
4:07 the tower in Persona 3 is called Tartarus
I like RA but im on day 255 and i literally dont know what to do anymore
[edit] Caper is a child, though her actual age is unspecified. She's a dedicated prankster with a rough childhood, despite that she sure as hell acts like a brat and pulls pranks just for the sake of "having fun", although tbh her struggles aren't really enough to really forgive how annoying she is, even if deep down she means well. You can recruit her from the store and is the only loopshooter in the game until Narantuya comes out in a few months. She can be pretty decent under the right circumstances.
She is. It is Literally stated multiple times in her Files
@@giornogiovanna8367 ah, you're right, I misread part of it.
@@naverick22 Thank You for admitting to Your Mistake and acting like a Civilized Human Being. It's not a Big Deal, it happens. If only everyone could be as Polite
always a good day when ak's 3rd most hated youtuber posts.
Reclamation is NOT newbie friendly
And you know what. You should check all character skins that avilablein game. In skin magazine you can find button with all skins)
0:33 on the bottom right corner there is a button from Where you can see what tasks you need to do
to get points
Sorry If this doesn’t make any sense
Unfortunately for you this game is your nemesis reading is required
Kektone uses to be a chill guy until genshin exist
2:59 bro wasn't ready for that
I really don't like what RA features and need help with more info on it.
Playing RA2 without reading is just budget Elden Ring
if you havent notice you can change the mode in RA
Moans about tutorial, then moans about not knowing what to do. Genius.
She's not a child, she's just a feisty Latina 🤣
Honestly, there's like 3 objectives for the event (that gives you the Caper skin) that's easily completed by just surviving 9 total days without your base getting destroyed. The other RA-related ones might just be way too far into RA for you to do in time, so I say just test the waters while completing that so you can leave the grinding for later.
Wait that bald back ?!?!
Rule of thumb for Arknights. If the character is cool or hot, unless it's one of the big names that you see everywhere, they are usually bad.
I cant stand when a character's design is 10/10 but they are basically useless.
@@ClayChoShow Same here... I've been burned so many times.
Eunectus is decent with her first module, it's like Lin or Mostime where you need to invest just a lot more for the operatore to become viable
Reclamation Algorithm is just arknights endfield beta (and 2D)
You can tell is Tecton cause the silhouette is hairless
You can get Caper's skin WITHOUT touching RA2
RA the "don't starve" survival mode, GL it requires alot. But yea make you do deal with your base and spend sanity and it'll help vs the missions for the skin.
if you're gonna play RA, start off with the easiest mode so you know how certain nodes work and it lets you cheese the rewards points. Then if you're feeling goofy switch the difficulty half way and play it as intended (totally not me rn)
Oh god, Clay found RA, he's so toast lmao
For once I’m just as confused as you are. What are we looking at?
RA really feels like them prototyping ideas for Endfield.
You all must be on something cause I dont hate any of you :D
it Tartasous, the dungein in persona 3
Hmm… Tectone has had this exact problem with over 5 of the last few communities he’s been a part of. Something tells me that Arknights isn’t the sole factor and that there’s a common factor there. 🤔
Yeah he likes to fight arseholes
See dreamy and atsu
you should be happy that you're actually getting a proper tutorial
the one we got for RA1 was crap
the main mechanic of this mode is fog of war, which exists on all map except your base
this is why trees spawn in when you place something next to them
you can guess where stuff is by trying to deploy a melee operator and looking for tiles that should be deployable, but are not
You don’t need to play reclamation but it certainly would help get the skin faster
It's hilarious that ak community are still salty about Tectone
OH I THOUGHT IT WAS SUPAH AT FIRST 😭🙏
i got the skin and i dont have the operator, ruh
she is in the shop, 150 red certs
I hate Tectone because he TRICKED me into investing in Executor 😢
actually ☝🤓, you can get the skin Caper without playing RA , just play as usual, you still can get it , BUT need more Patient :D
who cares its just a skin and a 2d fake character. people who are like she a child or was a child, need to go touch grass
The RA is very meh at best. Read all tutorial when I came back, understood almost nothing, restarted after failing, failed again. At the very least there is an insane cheesy method to gain fast points after playing for a couple of hours.
Tutorial is good
Unlike IS this mode requires alot of resource managment
The tutorial is awful (seriously they don't even explain what the goal of each node type is beyond collecting and hunting.)
But once you get the hang of it I think it's the best thing arknights has to offer. Just requires patience and a diverse (not meta, *diverse*) account.
You dont need to play RA to get the skin (or the rewards). The game mode existed before, and even though it's still terrible (at best 3/10), and the previous version was even worse. It's badly explained, awfully cheesy, requires a lot of specific characters, lacks QoL and is generally just unfun.
i disagree, plenty of people find ra2 fun, myself included, especially with the improvments. although it really isnt for everyone
@@sophiaz2982 hello yes I'm a person who enjoys RA2 too👋
I'd say RA2 is more of a roster check then IS, making it worse for newer and mid game players, but better for endgame players.
After reading title I thought about supah, turns out it's not him, bro fell off
No one hates Clay though. SUPAH is toxic. Tectone is simply the worst and most horrible gacha content creator to ever exist. Tectone breathes and lives in drama.
Ok, now that you're done learning the simplest part of this gamemode, ot time to spend 2 irl years learning how to farm!
Yeah, there's a reason they had to make a whole event for people to play this. Noone likes it.
you can get the skin without playing RA, just do the missions
Ra is peak because SLUG RACING RAHHH
I feel like tectone hates arknights more because of the community then the game itself.
but bro why is he THAT stupid 😭😭😭
I personally dislike RA myself. Too many micro management. I'm at 120 days already tho because I need the reward.
Also the reason why I like IS a lot. I wanna do combat as much as possible.
i hate this game mode more than anything in this game EVEN MORE THAN SEABORN
Dude do no bother with RA, it is such a shit slog of a mode and you'll probably hate it. Most of the rewards for that event tracker can be aquired by playing the normal content of the game and avoiding RA altogether
I really didn't understand anything that happened today 😅, just that people on Twitter hate the skin of a character but about the game I didn't understand anything.
Just Twitter being Twitter. They make drama over anything instead of just focusing on their own life. Which I guess most of them don't have.
RA is one if not the most fun gamemode AK has ever cooked. I truly don't know why EVERYONE hates it. Issue of skill players smh head my
True, literally skill issue
