Decided to do North-South route after watching you deal with water shortage (Ayagaures). Gear recap also a plus. Excellent content and video quality. Nice guide Jack. So what would you recommend to someone who has a fair bit of experience with multiday hikes and elevation, but has never been to Scotland? I don't mind a village/bar/store occasionally, but would love some wild and remote nature as well. Thinking of doing the Skye trail next year.
Hi Lennart, thanks for the comment. If you have the time go the Cape Wrath Trail for sure - from what I’ve heard it’s amazing. If not the Skye trail is great for 5-6 days and you also get to pass through a few small villages as well. I probably preferred the Skye trail over the WHW because it is less crowded, it felt more wild/remote, and the scenery felt a lot more unique
