The bay window is perfect for the Christmas tree.

I LOVE that you showed how a tall man fares in this house, my husband is 6'6 so always good to have this perspective.
Bay window in living room could be window seat with storage drawers, built in buffet, plant area, cat cubbies, or some combination thereof. That chair there looks like an afterthought?

Love this one. Consider how many people come over for a gathering. Nice details! The pantry is nice! Laundry works, you can add shelves! Beautiful kitchen. Also, for the front room, you may want to see people walk in the door and not have your back to them. Definitely move tv over. We use extension cords a lot. It should work out! Can you request different light fixtures? Good luck! Lovely

When I watched before I missed that you were going to buy. It is a lovely kitchen. Your present garden is so perfect and the greenhouse.
Like this house very much. Think I may have switched the settee & dinning table round, but a great space. The airing cupboard was good as there was actual storage. As you pointed out the under stairs storage is so very awkward needs another door to it. Like have the utilities in there. On the whole great house x
Skylight ceiling is awesome! So much light and sense of openess. Cats should love the bay window 🙂
Loved this video! It’s so in depth currently trying to choose between the Ashop and the blyth but I’m definitely leaning towards the Ashop now

Put a cat door in the bathroom door when we bought our house the laundry room had a vent in the door at the bottom so I took the vent off and cut thick plastic into strips and attached to the door on both sides cats can go in and out with door shut my cheap version of cat door 🥰
Completely agree that too many house designs do not plan the best use of space and where sockets aerials (and especially radiators are placed!!!!!)

Zit looks so small the rooms are chopped up? I’m used to the American open concept I suppose.
The new homes here are huge and have really big open spaces. Of course, I’m wondering if the
weather being cold there in winter would be the reason for small cozy spaces. You should design your own home.

I do like that the Ashop is detached. The Oakham is not, correct?
Both detached, Ahop has detached single garage. Oakham has integral single garage.

You don't need an Aerial to stream though! so if you're just watching Netflix Disney plus prime etc TV/sofas can go anywhere ❤️
i think if i was buying this house i would have the front lounge with sofa on the wall where the tv on and have stead of a tv on the wall behind the door , will be having a projector mounted on the wall so then you can have it projected on the wall . then a big tv in the kitchen/dinning room
I think the reason the aerial point is there is that it is an external wall.
Great video guys me and my partner are looking into some properties with countryside. But the development has only just come up so not much information, do u know the avergE price range for a 3 bed with this developer?
Obviously depends where you are looking at. Down South is more than Midlands and the North. On this development you can get a 3 bed semi for £229k all the way to a detached 3 bed for £289k There are 3 beds in between these price ranges depending on house type.
The sofa is a bit misleading in the kitchen living space as its completely blocking the radiator! Daft...they should have put slim high radiator to the left of the garden doors, instead of taking up usable wall!
This is just an observation,but homes in the United States don’t have doors on their kitchen to separate it from other rooms. It seems unnecessary. Additionally, all of,our inside doors are usually painted white to match the hallways. The ones in this home are just wood colored. It’s not wrong....it’s just different.
Doors are put on kitchens to stop cooking smells from going all around the house I think.
Kitchen smells, even with my hood i close the doors when I cook something that has a strong smell or smoke.
I hate kitchen smells in the whole house while cooking.

Oh, dear. Nice bay windows, but boxy, nonetheless. In the states, whenever you have a large room, there is always another doorway on the other end of the room that makes another entrance into the kitchen. That way, if you're already settled in a chair or sofa on the far end of the room, you can walk into the kitchen from there, rather than walk all the way across the room to get to the hallway, then proceed back tracking back down the hallway. Another thing, if you're sitting in a boxy room like that at one end, and a serial killer bursts into the living room, there is nowhere to go......no route of escape!! If I lived in a boxy house like that, sitting in the the living room would feel like sitting in a storage unit, to me. Okay, not another word!! I said I wouldn't comment anymore, but you're triggering me!!! LOL!! Last words: THEY ALL LOOK THE SAME!! Okay, I'm really done this time!! :)
I love the open plan area at the back but I hate the brown, 70s doors. They just look cheap and cheesy to me.

The tap is low so it's not visually intrusive. I never understand putting the two messiest areas...sink and hob, right next to where you eat and sit...who wants to have the pans and detritus from food prep right in your close eye sight while you are trying to relax and entertain?
No to rows of shoes in hallway, would spoil the look , shame there’s no built in storage

No offence Elliott, but I think Matt is better at holding the camera. You move around too much, and it’s hard to watch. It looks like a nice home though!
