I have to disagree. Because of the movement mechanics, all you ever see is pistol, pistol, and more pistol, because that's the only gun that truly matters in this movement based game. Pretty much everything else can be avoided and dodged, and that is why I hate 'modern' Halo games. It's a spastic mess, that I know for a fact you cannot do 1 vs. 4 in. If Halo 3 had 'enhanced movement', I know for a fact I would not have been able to pull a solo win on Guardian when my useless teammates quit...FROM 20+ POINTS BEHIND. I wouldn't had been able to use grenades defensively, the other team would always get the power weapons no matter how hard I could try to stop them due to Sprint, and they could simply rush me as a group and melee me to death, had 'enhanced movement' been in the game. Instead, though, because that wasn't the case, when they tried to pile into Blue Room to kill me, I plasma melee the first, picked up his Brute shot, and killed all his teammates behind him using the one-shot melee Brute shot combo on each. Now imagine if the enhanced mobility was in Halo 3. Chances of them even coming from the same direction would have been slim, because they would have used their enhanced mobility to cover the whole map and stay in control of the power weapons. If I did manage to kill the first guy with the Brute Shot, the others would have been able to melee me in time, or dodge, turning what would have been an overkill extermination into a sad one kill. Because everyone could move at the same speed, I could stay just one step ahead of the enemy, and not worry about lowering my weapon. 'Enhanced movement' is cheap thrills for twitchy people, and so long as Halo has it, I am not a Halo fan anymore. Gone are the days of beating the odds, the odds are stacked in favor of the aggressive, instead of the strategic.

But hey, the good news is we're free to agree or disagree with one another plus you have the MCC that retains all that classic Halo gameplay goodness.
Thanks ShyWay! This was exactly what I needed. Recently, I've been playing H5 more with an agressive play style, but I always seem to use it for the wrong time. The concept of knowing when to push the enemy in a smart and calculative manner will definitely help me grow as a more competitive H5 player.

Love the way Bound uses every part of the map to his advantage. Going directly under the player on flowers so his opponents beat down misses and thrusting into that little window in gold so the nub combo misses is just great awareness and just 200 iq plays love seeing things like this. I've been trying to use the spring jump like he did on Car2(truth) to try and throw off players just a little bit. I would like to see a play through video of you playing and walking through the whole match and you giving a play by play of what you are thinking and what you were or did try to accomplish. Just to see how other people think during a match and what they think is the best move or play or whatever lol. Love the videos Shy everytime I get a notification of a new video from you I watch it right away other youtubers I can wait if I'm busy to watch there videos later but not when it's a Shy Halo5 vid.

i made the switch to black ops 4 last year after playing halo 5 for 3 years straight. Even though I haven't played for a while, I had a few top 5 champ placings in the doubles playlist so I really appreciate this type of high level content. I remember watching some of Frosty's stream POV and there were several times Bound destroyed him
Your faster movement videos are awesome. I get in so many social lobbies where kids are crutching toggle crouch the entire game and end up costing their team the win. Those type of players will never improve at Halo and I kinda wish radar was removed from Halo altogether. Great video bro. 👍🏽✌🏽
I love halo,and halo 5 has the best multiplayer of the series....the movements,the aggressive gameplay and the fast of the action is litterally the best. I play everyday since 3years and is Also a great game today... I hope infinite has the same movements,without spartan charge and ground pound. Very good video.
Mark my words. Halo infinite will be very similar to the recent Mythic playlist in H5. Faster movement speed, higher jump, no sprint, weak thrust that comes back slow and great maps
Technically it is on PC sorta, just not in a competitive manner, PC got the forge mode with a custom game search function, but it didn't really cantch on from what I heard, but MCC seems to be doing okay, so who knows with infinite. Probably make the xbox players sad though.

I’m pretty good at this game but in the past 2 months it seems like my shots aren’t doing any damage. I play champs and can get kills. Then when I play platinums and diamonds I’m struggling . It feels like everyone else is gliding around smooth and I’m literally struggling jus to sprint and clamber or my first or last shot doesn’t register. Or the game starts off smooth then midway through I can’t hit the ocean if I fell off a boat, but I know my skill I’m normally a onyx in my playlists. Now I’m stuck at D2-D3😩

What tips do you have for learning the map location names. Some of them make sense, like nest or glass. But other ones are not as obvious. What is a good way to learn the callouts of the locations?

Honestly good video. A lot of just high level plays/Game knowledge. I enjoyed halo 4 just because you could be more creative with ninjas and aggro game play. Halo five is money on the mobility aspect. Sure hope they leave jet pack outta halo infinite. Ruined reach , even tho the new jet pack bumper jump feature is nice. Just no jet pack except mlg. Fack. Even that take it out. Remember the top 1% in onyx were all just jet packing on top of the map. Cheap shit. Still pisses me off. Every game lol. And bungee didn’t nerf the glitch spots so it was just whoever plays default and with a pack usually won. Some nostalgia.
I think the most aggro play i ever made in Halo 5 was switching to Fortnite. The maps dont reward you enouf for all the jumps. But if you can build and edit in fortnite the options are limitless. Once i saw stresss playing fortnite on twitch i had to give it a try. Not to mention box fighting is much more fun then octagon if your into grinding.

@@bobjoe8763 this game is super challenging overall, many people still playing at a high level have been playing it for over 4 years - so don't get discouraged if it doesn't come to you right away, it's a process that requires practice & dedication. If you do stick with it though, not only will you improve, you might put yourself ahead of the curve in preparation for infinite. 👍🏼

Yeah they really progressed the game so that being smart and knowledgeable of map/player respawns vastly helps even more so than halo 3
