Super Junior-D&E is a sub-unit of the legendary Kpop group Super Junior. This sub-unit is made up of Donghae who is a lead vocalist and lead dancer and Eunhyuk who is the main dancer and main rapper of Super Junior. Super Junior-D&E was formed in 2011 and "Zero" is the lead track on D&E's first full length Korean album called Countdown in celebration of the sub-unit's 10th anniversary. (They have several mini albums and dozens of singles.) Fun fact: this album has 3 versions: Countdown version, Be version and California Love version. "Red Muhly" and "Be" are the two special tracks that are on Eunhyuk's Be version of the Countdown album. The original purpose of the group was for the members to get more experience in all aspects of the entertainment industry while they also worked as singers and dancers. Then in 2008, SM created the industry's very first Mandarin Chinese sub-unit designed to bring Kpop to the Chinese market and they added 2 new members to Super Junior (Zhoumi and Henry) and Super Junior officially became a 15 member group. Henry is Chinese/Taiwanese-Canadian and Zhoumi is native Chinese. However, Zhoumi and Henry were only allowed to be members of Super Junior-M. Super Junior (the Main group) with 16 years of trajectory, they have every song genre you might imagine. Super Junior was the first group to create the concept of sub - units in kpop. It's like forming mini groups of members in order to target different music genres or a target market. In the beginning Super Junior used to have 13 members (today they have 9 active members. but usually only promote with 8) They had a total of 5 sub units at one point. The active sub-units of Super Junior Super Junior K.R.Y (consists of the 3 main vocalists of SJ Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and Yesung. the unit focuses on Ballads) Super Junior D&E ( Donghae and Eunhyuk , main dancers and rappers of SJ. songs are more hiphop and dance heavy.) The in-active sub-units of Super Junior Super Junior - M (their target market was China, so the songs were all in Mandarin Chinese. The unit had 7 members, 5 from the original group + 2 exclusive Chinese members ) Super Junior - T ( a very old unit only released one mini album, the T stands for trot, which is a genre of Korean folk music) Super Junior - Happy (another old unit that only released one mini album, the target market was for a younger demographic.
