I felt House Party was a song where it’d be weird if we got to it towards the end of COVID, so we released that first and delayed this. Apologies to those who were upset with that move! Ryeowook did the lalalas, he is main vocal. While doing this song the producer said it was a bless he born because of his perfect voice.
He is a musical actor (almost 11) and many people told him to try opera when they listen to him. He is a lyric tenor with 3 octaves.

Burn The Floor isn’t given enough attention and it kinda frustrates me. Like as a fan for 12 years it amazes me how they still go out there and try different genres and music styles. They don’t just go with the typical K-pop trends. Thank you so much for reacting to this masterpiece!!!

SuJu has the superior altogether sound. They have distinct, very different tones but together they sound like heaven. (In general, SM is a genius at this. All their groups sound amazin together.)

When I heard this song, im like "wow!!!!!!" Super Junior just keep on reinventing themselves and that is why I love them. Because you'll never know what you will get everytime they release a song.

I still get goosebumps for this song and I have listened to it a million times. SUJU does not get recognized for their musicality enough
And in the end SM changed Burn the Floor as a title track to House Party just because it combined better with the Kwangya concept, even though the whole anniversary comeback was ready with the Renaissance concept

This song was written by Jisoo Park and the team at 153 Joombas. He also has solo work under the name NIve and he's an amazing vocalist himself. Fun fact - he was a classical clarinet player at Mannes in NYC before leaving to pursue singing/songwriting.
The producer of this song also mentioned "Carmen" as an inspiration for some parts. I'm glad you listened those details 😊

Burn the floor is one of my favorites, it was sad how it wasn't really appreciate when is an unique song, one of the team which made this masterpiece said they sent the song to SM some time ago and was happy that SJ was who took it, they made a great job, they are not afraid to try new things and they have the voices to try this. 6:19 Jory nailed it. One of the producers of this track has a video where he describes his creative process for this song and he specifically mentions that he wanted that particular section to have more of a tango vibe since the song was a waltz. He took inspiration directly from Carmen.

Since I saw the video I was like “yeah they’ll have a field day with this song”. This is hands down one of the best songs in Super Junior and K-pop, I don’t know anything about classical music, but I could feel how deep it is, the mix of the different styles of music is so flawless and the dance with the lights makes it even better!

Burn The Floor is amazing and I was so in awe of it when they performed it during that free SM concert. It’s spectacular and a masterful piece of art that not enough people are aware of. The integration of orchestral music and dubstep sounds odd in theory but it was so well done! Burn The Floor is excellent, both in terms of musicality and in performance. Super Junior got so much freedom to express themselves as artists after creating their own label and it really shows here. They perfected their craft and we can easily see how they’re experienced veterans in the K-Pop industry. Burn The Floor really showcases how much talent and creativity Super Junior possesses. It’s an incredible song and deserves all the attention.
Burn the floor makes me super proud to stan super junior! Even after 16 years, SJ's still giving out quality and unique music despite being in the industry since 2005!
