This version of the song always makes me ball my eyes out for some reason. I feel like it encompasses such a range of human emotions in a way that really focuses on the absurdity of life and our senses of time. I just saw stop making sense in imax for the first time and I had to see it again a few days later lol. Every person on that stage made one of the most magical and emotion packed musical pieces I’ve ever seen.
I could see why David Byrne didn't want the band to get back together, everything that is on TH-cam they did could never be duplicated again, it is as close to as perfect a band could ever hope to be.
This just the most wonderful track ever. So jolly, so beautiful. Such a fantastic love song without ever sounding cheesy or cliched. It's so joyous and rhythmic. I could bop to this all night, smiling, laughing dancing. If I could find a girl that I could share the sentiments of the lyrics with, I'd be a very happy man.
