I've never minded the scratchy look on the bronze (and some silver) age films personally! I think they really add to the hand drawn feel. I can definitely see where the criticism comes from though, for people who don't like it as much. I also really agree that The Black Cauldron has a lot of wasted potential-it looked very cool and intense upon first glance but didn't really do anything for me when I actually watched it.
It's really sad to me that "The Black Cauldron" turned out to be such a disappointment. I genuinely believe it had the potential to be an incredible movie because it had some great elements.
This era is underrated. The Great Mouse Detective is my favourite movie, the most incredible and underrated movie I can think of. Winnie the Pooh is adorable. The Rescuers, Oliver and Co and the Aristocats are not perfect, but they still have a special place for me. Robin Hood was the movie that sent me into my fox obsession, which has never really ended. I was not able to watch most of these until I was about sixteen, but I love them despite their unpopularity.
The great mouse detective is amazing movie and underated! Basil and Ratigan are my favorite characters. This movie is amazing and underated that they deserve some recognition!❤
I will give feedback on the video : such a good concept and enjoyable all around, you gave me so much nostalgia and your criticism is valid. the tone of the video has a great vibe basically it's fun to watch, however i would suggest changing the pace a little, the narration is kind of slow and repetitive, i would advice speeding up a notch and also improving the script. ❤❤
They've already made a live-action Winnie the Pooh movie, so it wouldn't surprise me, but I certainly hope they don't make another live-action movie of the Bronze Age. To be fair, I don't want them to make any live-action remakes, but I guess that's too much to ask.
Yeah Bronze age was a transnational period for Disney as they were in a creative mess yet were slowly on the right track at the tail end of it. Also monetary wise they weren't doing great either 80's were a terrible time for Disney
The Aristocats is one of my favorites.❤
I’ve always been fond of Disney Bronze Age movies. The Fox and The Hound is one of my all time favorites.
Yes! 'The Fox and the Hound' is amazing and definitely underrated.

Thank you for your feedback. It helps in improving my videos. I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
The great mouse dectective deserves more love, a rerelease and a sequel(with the archive voice like disney did with the genie) and to be a franshise.
Hopefully some of these movies won’t get Live action remakes.

I love Oliver and Company but I can see why it is not well liked by critics
