Evil West is an upcoming third-person shooter video game developed by Flying Wild Hog and published by Focus Entertainment. The game is set to be released on November 22, 2022 for Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
Evil West is a third-person shooter. In the game, the player assumes control of Jesse Rentier, a vampire hunter. Jesse is equipped with powerful firearms including a six-shot pistol, a rifle and a flamethrower, and melee weapons including a gauntlet that can accumulate electrical energy and an axe. Enemies can be stunned and staggered following a melee attack, allowing players to execute them using a special finisher move. Players can also use the environment to their advantage. For instance, they can kick enemies into a spike trap, or shoot explosive barrels. Players will occasionally encounter boss characters, which are powerful enemies with unique attack patterns. As the player progresses in the game, they will level up and gain new skills and abilities. The campaign can be played cooperatively with another player.

This has gears of war feel 100% and people that barely ever played gears will say it does not, But if you’re a die hard gears fan you will be good at this game if it has online. And befor you diss this comment I say "gears of war feel" never said it was exactly like gears obviously it’s not but the rolling, the movement, the hard aiming camera view is very similar. Minus theres No roadie run. (Do not compare hard aim to the first or second gears of war) I’d say about judgement, 4,and 5

This game runs perfectly on the PS4 PRO. It is 30 FPS, but with zero input lag. There are some bugs here and there, but it's a really good game.
Does the game actually support HDR10? WAIT, isnt the 60 fps mode only 1080p????

I don't think the game is suitable for hdr. Colors are often oversaturated

In quality mode on PS5 it's only 2160p / 30 fps (and in mode performance it's 1080p / 60 fps)...

Graphics are just twice as beautiful in 4k, but not usable in 30 fps... What a shame on PS5! (same problem on X Box Series. Only on PC Max is the game in 4k / 60 fps).
Sauf erreur, le jeu n'est pas en "4k/60fps" sur Xbox Series X (sinon j'achète tout de suite une Xbox Serie X !). La résolution sur Xbox Series X est exactement la même que sur PS5 : 4K/30 fps en mode qualité ou 1080p/60 fps en mode performance. A ma connaissance (et après recherches), il n'y a que sur PC Max que le jeu tourne en 4k/60 fps. Dingue de ce jeu (l'ai platiné), je joue en ce moment une partie 4k/30 fps sur PS5. Les graphismes sont 2 fois plus beaux qu'en 1080p mais inexploitables en 30 fps. Je finis la partie et remets le jeu le mode 1080p/60 fps. C'est une honte. On ne peut pas profiter de la 4k sur console New Gen (les jeux continuent à sortir sous-exploités en versions Cross Gen). J'ai une PS5 et je suis contraint de jouer en mode PS4 Pro 2 :(
I dont know how people playing this kinda games on absolute best qualities but i have a 2K resolution monitor and when its on performance mode it looks horrible but in quality mode its just unplayable. Maybe im doing something wrong but i had never played a single game with a smooth visuals and it bothers me and wanna resell my ps5…
Main characters eyes don't blink, the npc's mouths don't move when talking. Poorly optimized, for me this was not worth $60.

A game that looks awesome. Looks rushed. This could have easily been a AAA+++ game. I was excited upon release. Now I'm just going to wait for a price drop.
