Great videos and I copied a lot of your LC200 ideas including the iPad RAM mount - wondering if you will be covering an iPad mount for the 300 as the RAM passenger seat bolt pole seems to be the only option I can find. Thanks and again - great informative videos.
For the Canning trip, I used a RAM mount double-sided taped to the back of the factory screen, placing an iPad MINI between the factory screen and the instrument cluster. It worked OK, but was just a temporary solution. I'm hoping to have the ability to display offroad maps on the factory screen, but the supplier is still working on some compatibility issues with the adaptor box. Will post a video once it's sorted, but not sure when that will be.
I am not sure if you made look easy or it's as easy as it looks. Thanks for the quality content that we all appreciate. Are you having some wind noise/ whistling from the A pillars when driving 80-120 kmh? Its driving me nuts and I want to remove the windshield molding and resecure it with a bead of silicone but I am afraid to break stuff.
I had a 2022 LC300 with that noise, there is a factory fix that was done for the A pillars. Booked it in and they replaced some stuff and all fixed under warranty.
Thanks for the detailed instructions. I was thinking of removing the cd player and installing the GX storage unit but heard that the CD player unit houses some functionality for the multimedia display and not just cd / dvd playback. You wouldn't by chance be able to confirm if that is true?
I'm not 100% sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. There is a substantial loom of wires between the DVD player and the screen. You wouldn't think that would be required just for a video or audio signal.
@@austimages I hear from our local toyota dealership that the 2025 model may not have the cd player, so I'll hang and see what ends up being developed as a replacement.
You make everything look so easy & explain everything so well. Thank you for that.

No, I haven't got any noticeable noise/whistling from the pillars.
How is the plastidip holding up on the grill?
Perfect. Good as new.

@@austimages Ah yeah, that makes sense. Appreciate the reply and of course the content.

Are you planning on doing the GME install video?
Yes, I've got it filmed, but not edited yet. I need to do the Kaymar and fuel tank videos first.
Have to save money for next 20 years before plus one of my kidneys before I could afford to pull apart these panels
...no bolts securing but just plastic clips...............basically everywhere.
