To use the pulsation scale, which is a 15 pulsations scale (some are 30), you simply start count your heart pulses until you reach 15, and watch, or stop, if the watch is off your wrist, at that point, where the second hand sweep is at 15 pulses is your heart rate.
I got this watch, for a great price, from Jake and Trifecta, and also ordered from Tissiot the rally race strap for it, which looks amazing on it and in wrist. Nivada is coming out with that new two sub-dial (9 & 12 o’clock) Paul Newman-but it costs 4 x as much, and this watch is better spec’d HIGHLY recommend.
With this pulsemeter you start the chrono and then stop it on the 15th heart beat. The hand will then show your heart beats per minute. So if you get 15 heart beats in 15 seconds your heart rate is 60 beats per minute.
Saw this in person at Wind-Up SF this year. it's a good looking piece and so tempted to get one, too. Held off, though. Other watches have a higher priority on my current list.
Good video. I've just acquired one of these manual PR516 myself. However I have to disagree with you regarding the Seagull chronographs, I currently have 6 watches from different manufacturers with the manual Seagull 1963 chrono movement, and they are all extremely accurate throughout the power range.
this is a great-looking chrono, especially if you have a larger wrist (probably too big for me, in all likelihood). Well done Tissot; they killed it on that dial
Great video man, Dane pointed me in your direction, I would love to have a chat at some point about a collaboration 🙂 Please let me know if you have sometime in the next few weeks, thanks.
Hi Rob really enjoy all your vids. I know you are a big fan of orange dial watches and would appreciate it if you could send me a couple of orange dail watches that are
Why the heck would they make it manual wind? That is nuts. If they're gonna do that, they should go with a much older 1930s look, not a modern looking watch like this. 4:01
@@s.i.5704 It's a sapphire crystal on the dial, but a mineral crystal on the bezel. It literally says that on their official website. Mineral glass is a scratch magnet. Instant deal breaker at the price! There are plenty of cheap watches that use sapphire glass on bezels (even Islander does it). There is NO excuse to use mineral glass on any Tissot, leat alone one at this price. And they did it on their divers too.

Love mine! Fun easter egg is the first 3 mins of the subregister is lumed.
This is a killer watch that I am planning to purchase.
Thank you for reviewing this watch !!!

What is the web page of Trifecta watches?
How much is it

That seems like the most practical usage for a pulsemeter bezel!
I bought the quartz version. A hair smaller at 40mm, it does it for me especially at the price.
Are the hands in the subdials and chrono hand orange or red?
This looks fantastic on you imo. !
Wish it was a solid caseback

The lume is super cool on this one
Interesting watch, a no-date, steel, chrono, manual wind, tachy, from swatch group....like a speedy but cheaper.
I'm going to get this one day for sure
I like the design, I might get the quartz version so I won’t have to deal with servicing the watch lol
I watched this twice did I miss the size or is this of very few that he forgot to tell us
Nice looking watch.
just got my one ❤

which seagull is this? Seagull 1963 or the other?
Great watch. I'd buy one.

What's the reference # for the Hamilton?
The finisher must of been hitting the sauce the night before
Even Tissot Jakes Rolex-homages

Thickness? Weight? Lug to lug? I always like to see those measurements as they indicate how the wearing experience will be
Noice

Well, speedy is also manual wind. This one is suppose to compete with it (in a way.....budgetary constraints kind of way :) )
Manual wind is cool, why is it a problem on modern watches?
Why would you get a manual wind if its not a retro pocket watch............ bro, ive worn manuals, its not fun
If they make this auto I'd buy it. Even though I end up winding my autos because I rotate them so much 😂
Don't like the case sides or lugs, very ungainly. Nice apart from that
At this price, the mineral crystal on the bezel and that nasty cheap clasp are deal breakers.
@@s.i.5704 He's right. It's a mineral crystal bezel insert. Even says so in the specs on Tissot's website

MINERAL!!!! FOR SHAME! They did that too on the Divers, poor taste!
