DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE! I got this phone because I had fond memories of the pre-smart phone Nokias, they were sturdy and reliable. How far they have fallen. This phone has so many glitches and delays, it is so laggy I have felt like smashing it many times. Sometimes it just switches off at random moments. There are so many great photo opportunities I've missed because it sometimes takes half a minute just for the camera to turn on. Do yourself a favour, avoid!
Just so you guys know in the UK at Argos this phone is £65 brand new a bargain in my opinion, if you think back only 2 years a phone with dual camera and no notch would have cost you at least £500 , amazing how cheap phones are today
@@johnbower7452 Galaxy A12 is a lot better though , £100 new on Ebay and it has 4 cameras a large 6.5 inch display 4gb ram and octa core CPU so am waiting ti get that now
I've been using the phone for a month now and find that is absolutely amazing. For $120AU it performs well with very little to no lag. I play a lot of games, watch videos and use it as a organiser for business work. The 32GB EEC Memory is great, meaning you don't have to fork out money to put more than one app on it. I have owned Nokia's all my life literally owned a 5110 as soon as it released in 1998, my last being a Windows 10 phone and this would have to the best Nokia I've had since the N-Gage/N95 days. I would recommend it too anyone looking for a smooth experience for daily use. This is not a productivity device but it should be able to handle it well if you have reasonable expectations.
Honor 8a was supposed to arrive this past Wednesday by Amazon. Was told to wait till 18/08, and then I checked the status this morning : "Your package may be lost We're very sorry your delivery is so late. Although it may still arrive, you can request a refund now."

You clearly haven't used it regularly. Putting "3 months of ownership" in the title is misleading. The phone was decent like you're saying before the forced updates but ever since then it has been a nightmare to use like the other user said. Just unlocking your phone can take up to 5-10 seconds. Also, without installing any new apps or downloading new content the internal storage just starts going down. Its basically a piece of junk now
I'm using 2.3 but when i put it in the pocket it puts itself on the flight mode , light on and so on also when I press for example a camera it doesn't respond quickly what should I do
Quite literally the worst phone in the world, had it for a week, it lags,it doesn't respond,making and answering phone calls is between impossible and non existent,taking it back and hopefully get my money back and a apology for selling me plastic garbage,thankyou and God bless😁
@Marian Hutnan ...appreciate taking the time out to reply, your right though,you get what you paid for, but I was just hoping that at least I can make and receive phone calls without any issues and it did, kind of, but not as smoothly as it should have been, it was very frustrating using this phone.
This was by far the worst smartphone I had ever owned. After 2 weeks it started crapping out on me and taking several seconds just to open up an app. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
I am planning to get this phone. Can you please tell me about the performance? I mean does this phone gets slow? I use Galaxy j5 and it has got super slow. I don't play games I just use it for like messenger, reddit, Instagram and apps like that. Will these applications make this phone slow? and also does it have any issue like taking too much time to open an application or something like that?

One of the worst phones I have ever had getting a new phone tomorrow and I'm going to throw this one at a wall it never worked properly when it is too cold in the morning at work it does not read my SIM card freezers all the time and I have hardly downloaded anything have had the phone for two weeks do not recommend this phone to anybody not even kids getting your children this phone should be classed as child abuse as I am writing this it has frozen and will not let me post my comment lol
Absolute rubbish contraption..screen locks and can't receive picture/text messages and this is the second one brought from a VODAFONE store in Lewisham..now phone is to be discontinued.
I have had this phone now for over a year and it is the WORST phone you could buy, need to charge battery every 3 hours, apps close or can´t even open for no reason and the touchscreen won´t work. DO NOT buy this phone!
This phone is a snail when my boss quick cash is money it sometimes takes 15 minutes to get the message and you only get half an hour to get the quick cash lol

Let's keep in mind you can get it for around 80$, which makes it a budget device, which means things like delay are to be expected.

Ok its pretty decent but the touchscreen is not responding well when you play some games but still do the job
