The D9L (first introduced in 1980, eventually replaced by the D10N in 1987) was a crawler tractor that kept the line of bulldozers going strong, and had considerably more horsepower than the T, R, and N versions. It was equipped with a Cat 3412 direct injection engine. This unit was turbocharged with 12-cylinders which produced 460 flywheel hp.

Wow, a rough and rocky cut. Tough on the operators and machines. Lot's of potatoes in that soil. Tough to get production in that.

You would really think so but with proper maintenance and care, you can keep them going. Some of these have been running strong since the '80s. Thanks for watching buddy ✌️

The dozer I assume is the 10 and the others are 9s, It seems like maybe he doesn’t have enough weight with his rippers to rip it or maybe bigger heavier rippers.

Rip cats with GPS, and those push cats without cabs, I love it! Some new operators have never run a machine without a cab, they’re all omg, this is cruel and unusual! I gotta have my ac! 😂😂 that 10 is a fuckin anchor man! My back doesn’t miss ripping rock! More whiskey and fresh hookers for my men, barkeep! 😂😂

Someone should teach those blokes on the scrapers to close their aprons abit, dirts going in and straight back out.Taking too long and small loads.

At the fleet i work at, we and 4 feet high plates on the sides of the bowl to "protect from rocks," but we all know it's to overload scrapers. No wonder why they break so often😂
