I'm completely obsessive when it comes to cleaning my brushes. I only use water based products and I clean my brushes immediately after I stop painting and usually a time or two during a painting project. As a result, all of my brushes are over thirty years old and in perfect condition. I still enjoyed the video. My only regret is that I don't get to go to those estate sales with you. Have a great day at church, Tom.
Looks like pretty good stuff but the most amazing bit was hearing about the use of ammonia for cleaning brushes; I've never heard of that before! Thanks Tom.
Great video on different ways to clean brushes. The best way i have ever found to clean brushes is right after using them. Some time's soaking them with dawn dish soap has proven to work also. Thanks for sharing.
I used to be a painting contractor a lot of those harsh chemicals are really hard on polyester latex brushes I would just clean the holy hell out of them I talked to an old old painter one time he said he used to clean his brushes back in the day with linseed oil
I use to use a special 👉Brush & Roller cleaner many years ago & it was very good 👍🏻 & neutralised in water 💧 But I can’t find it ? It’s a real pity because it worked very well in restoring paint brushes & rollers ok. This product was a clear liquified chlorinated hydrocarbon substance with special chemical ingredients to remove dried out residue paint from brushes & rollers OK - plus You could wash it out with water 💧 just like when You wash off 👉’Degreaser’ with water 😕🥺🤦🏻♂️
Thanks Tom. It certainly looks useful.

For what we use, I think this product would do the job. Thanks for your test and opinion Tom! Take care!
Really enjoy your channel. Interesting content by an entertaining host!
Glad you enjoy it!
Thanks Tom.
I'll give it a try when I'm out of lacquer thinner.
Appreciate the info.
