Glad you introduced your dogs. I look at many breeders' websites and find your dogs extremely beautiful. Whippets are often so petite, yours are a bit more compact and I really like that. If one of my dogs is no longer there, hopefully in the distant future, I would love to have a whippet, I just have to convince my husband. 😀
I am sure your husband will be easy to convince, especially if he has a chance to meet a whippet. They are masters of getting into hesitant husbands' skin 😅
Hi Addie 😊..over time whilst I have been part of your growing whippet family you have introduced your beautiful whippets❤ but I really enjoyed listening and hearing in alittle more detail about each one and how they became your family. ❤ Thank you 😊 xxxxxxxx
Thank you! I love the fact that you've made decisions against what's recommended (like keeping all the puppies from one litter). One can just imagine the amount of experience you have! ❤ Btw how do you coose the right families for your puppies? What's your gut feeling?
Oh, I could make a whole video on that and I most probably will. 😄 My gut feeling plays a huge part, as I've even denied someone a puppy last minute thanks to it and I ended up right. But I do extensive screening. I have puppies who live with well known names in the breed and I knew in advance they'd make great homes. In short, I consider potential owners who show me knowledge or willingness to learn, highest level of responsibility and prove having the best intentions. And also homes that will be a good fit for particular puppy, depending on its temperament and quality (show potential or none). And the smallest of red flags results in a "no" from me, as I take no risk when it comes to the life and welfare of living beings that I quite honestly consider my children.
@@ShowPaws That is how finding a new home should be done! I know the breeder of my Whippet interviewed me over phone a couple of times, met in person, and she uses her adult Whippets to help her...If they don't take to a person, then it would be a 'no'. Once a Puppy has left your hands , legally there is not much you can do to get him or her back -But hopefully a person would return a dog to the breeder if the dog was no longer wanted -unthinkable as that is. It's much better if you already know a potential owner- and how they treat their dogs.
It's funny how the boys can be so fussy. I have a male that is just a mess. He's very sweet and everybody loves him. But I had to finally put him on prozac just to even be able to cope with day to day life. He has crippling anxiety where the tiniest things would make him go into hours of panting/shaking meltdowns. He's been better on that, but it's been hard to keep the med balanced.
Could you tell me the AKC name of Arys? I wanted to see her family tree.☺️our dogs have some ancestry from Lithuania, France and the Netherlands as well as other places in Europe including Latvia and Finland. Maybe ours are related to yours!😊
Ivy, Jamie and Ruby have some Pipsqueak. Like Pipsqueak Lovely Whipster. Erys has no Finnish ancestors. She has a lot of Italian lines in her pedigree as well as some from the USA.
@@ShowPaws Arys shares Wolf Tone Viking with both my dogs. Since he was 20 when the pup was born, I’m assuming they had his seed saved like many well known whippet studs like Reign On.
@@ShowPaws Ivy, Jamie and Ruby all share Ronndall’s Zinedine Zinedane with my two so yes your whippets are cuzzies to my whippets! Family is family Addie!❤️🥰

What lovely pups, all so beautiful. thank you for sharing!
Thank you ❤️
Thanks so much for the personality profiles and lineage. I love all the names you gave them.
Bailey looks a beauty. Her Spirit lives on.
She was so special indeed. ❤️ But she left a piece of her looks and behavior in all her children.
@@ShowPaws That is very true 💕.

Thank you, Karen, for being such a supportive part of this journey from the very beginning ❤️
Your videos are so fun to watch. Thank you for making and sharing these.
I am very happy you enjoy them! 🤗
One colourful butterfly in her head 😂 sums up my whippet!
😅
@@ShowPaws That was a beautiful analogy with the butterfly ..My Whippet's head is full of squirrels!🐿
They are all so beautiful!! I have a female 12 year old named Belle. She’s a beautiful gray brindle.
Cooper is soooooo Cute! Such a sensitive boy.
He really is a sweetheart. Just that he complicates his life with his overreacting, but there's no way to explain it to him 🙈
@@ShowPaws Whippets can indeed be 'Drama Queens' {Or Kings) but all the more reason to love them :)
Whippet good!

What is Ivys official name?🥰
Hi
❤ in a few years when I retire... I would like a female with these colors... but the male ... must be black white gray blue ... ❤
