The problem is that impeachement is a 2-house process. Congress has to vote to impeach Trump, and then the Senate tries the president and votes on whether to remove him from office or not, which needs 67 votes to pass. If the Democrats win every seat that's up for grabs in the 2018 midterms, they'll still only have 60 in the Senate.
So Trump's going nowhere until the Republicans decide he's sufficiently toxic to the party.
