@@tomsrailannouncementswho is Anne? I heard she is a voice artist, but I don’t know her story. I know she is the announcement voice of a lot of stations in the UK though.

In certain stations they build a platform 0 for extra capacity, they built one in Leeds because it was getting too busy during peak time and trains would often have to park infront of each other.
For some reason I love watching train announcement compilations and I especially love announcements by Anne, Julie Berry and Matt Streeton

I heard a couple of Anne’s delays and cancellations at my local station in the past
Great video! My favourite announcers are Celia, Anne and Scottish female. Also a ‘wartime bomb’ bloody hell that is serious!!
I love it when the 'next fastest' roles on for what seems like ages.
Especially when its repeated again just a couple of minutes later!
for some reason at sutton the “next fastest direct service” announcements they always skip out one station for some reason

Nice video showing the various TOC preferences. Anne definitely sounds older and a bit posher in the newer recordings.
Thanks! It'd be interesting for us to know exactly how old she is.
I’ve seen a picture of her before - I’d guess 50s.
Ahh, she's gonna be on our network for quite a while longer then

That’s dangerous for the wartime bomb near the railway line
Some of this is the responsibility of Network rail, yet you never hear Network rail apologise!
They're footing the bill, and yes, they do apologise. Check their website.
anne probably has announced or recorded every single station in england
Awesome video as always!

Great video, also you can tell Anne wasn't fitted for SWR stations.
Thanks! Yes you can 😂
Pretty obvious. Before First mucked around with the voice units, you would find Phil Sayer and Celia Drummond on the SWR network.
I feel like I need more context to the wartime bomb incident.
It seems like “shortage of train crew” is the best excuse they have for a cancellation
