Lucky lucky you, a similar thing happened to a sister 30 years ago, the first wife’s family and her threatened to leave with. Kids and said you stay with second wife me I’m leaving with kids, so that put a lot of pressure on the husband and the pressure was felt on the second wife and things just ended in disaster, plus second wife’s family dint agree to him who has wife and kids, so under pressure of parents society not able to see her husband or get back with him , she got remarried to a single man, the rest was history so society do not accept married men call her a home wrecker.this woman suffers depression now she’s neither here nor there . So lucky you and your situation is easy.
In some cases it’s hard for second why and first wife too , second wife feels shel always be second best, and the first wife has upper hand because she has children
I know a situation where my aunts dad married four times and all the step mother brother and sisters got along so fine even in Saudi they seem to adjust to the situation

This is my main point. Brothers want to get few wives and they're mistreat the first one. The reason why it was accepted and wives got along at that time is because the way husband treated their wives back then. We ALL would be ok with it if we ALL follow Allah's deen become true believers.

this is my main issue with marrying a second woman- i so afraid that it will hurt my first wife. I love my first wife but I love the second lady as well... The second lady is a great Believer. That is the main reason why I want her as a wife. She is beyond the age of children, she spends her time working in the Masjid and being a kindergarten teacher. Maasha Allah shes so nice too.. Me being a women who has fertility problems now can relax cause my husband has another wife who herself wanted children and marriage and she now has both and I also now have children because of her. You spoke on this very well. I stumble across your videos and have liked them. I love how you express both sides and explain them in details of what the real reality is about what women really face. I am a Christian by faith and I do believe exactly what you mentioned in the videos. Born and raised in America. One man, one woman and one marriage and that God only honors one marriage. In the bible the old testament polegamy was legal but in the new testament God did not allowed it because of the many problems that came with it. I am very open minded about polegamy and how it worked and have researched it . I married a catholic African man from west Africa that comes from a country that practiced polegamy. I have met so many people and have made friends who are second wives. I have also met people who grew up in it and hated it. So I do see how it Can work and how it can't work depending on the man and the women he chooses. You are right because I've been with my husband for 18 years and 3 kids and I would not want to have to share him. when we have slept together in the same bed and house for 18 years. Asalaamu alaiikum With all respect, I don't know any men in the African American community who fully support multiple wives financially. They all want the sexual satisfaction but rare is one who takes this on seriously and responsibly. If a man does this, alhamdulullah, but he's rare. I think it's not fair to belittle women as just jealous. Rights are not being given and wives are forced to work outside the home because of the irresponsible men. Many women are willing to help financially because we see how hard it is for our men to survive. But it feels like a stab in the back when we're doing that, then he comes home with 2nd wife as though he is a real provider. Why aren't there more talks encouraging men to provide? I'm not talking about cars and big houses, no. I mean a clean safe home/apt, food and a few outfits per year for wife and to fulfill needs of children. So maybe they'll have a modest life, but at least she won't have to be thrust into the cold world of work or begging her family for money or WELFARE. If men are taking on full responsibility, a woman can get used to the idea of 2nd wife a lot easier because we want another sister to be "saved from the streets" even if we're dying from jealousy, we at least are secure. But most men who do this are not pious or responsible. Then now you've ruined 2 women's lives! May Allah protect us from these problems. The biggest thing we need in our community right now are strong families and less breakage! May Allah protect us and guide us.

I would give it up for the sake of Allah if it was necessary. However, I would still prefer to be with a man who is ABLE to be monogamous. A man who lusts after other women when he has a wife at home giving him his rights and uses polygamy as an excuse needs counselling in my opinion. Polygamy is not the solution for not being able to be chaste. Polygamy is to help the overall society when needed. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was able to he both monogamous and polygamous. He was monogamous for several years while with Khadeeja (may Allah be pleased with her). So it is also sunnah to be able to be monogamous and faithful to one wife.

Clearly this is talking about the protection of Orphans and not mens desires. Why would quran mention protection of Orphans then tell men to marry 2,3 or 4. Its to protect the Orphan children by marrying widowed women with children. No where in the quran does the prophet or Allah say marrying more ten 1 is to protect mens chastity. Salam sister, I will respectfully disagree. It is not always beautiful. Sometimes it can be a disaster especially if the man does it for bad intentions. If done with proper intention and the requirements are met, then yes, it can be beautiful. Just not always. It is also not a requirement, simply an option. Please remember that the Prophet (pbuh) was also married to one woman for several years. So being monogamous is also a valid option and can be just as beautiful if not more. Basically it all comes down to the intention of the person

There's a very interesting story of a match stick burning himself for a flame above him. Both the flame and the stick are happly in love with each other, and the stick don't mind that he's burning his life for the flame. Then a candle came about and the flame liked the candle, and tried to be with the candle. The stick took notice and tried to stop the flame, but eventually gave up. The flame, broken from the stick(being on a portion of the stick) wanted to be with the candle, but when the candle sees that he needs to provide his body for the flame, he rejects and leaves. No believer father would like his son-in-law to marry a second, third or fourth woman along with his daughter. The jealous nature of the woman and the affection of the father for his daughter disapproves this. As a matter of fact, the daughter of our beloved Prophet, Sayyidah Fatima, objected to her husband, Ali’s marrying of a second woman. If it weren’t permissible to object, Sayyidah Fatima, who was brought up by our Prophet, would not have objected. The Messenger of Allah would have warned her and ordered her to consent to her husband’s wish. However, it did not take place like that. On the contrary, the Messenger of Allah, who saw that his daughter was worried, asked Ali to give up his wish and told him that if he did not give it up, he could marry another woman after divorcing Sayyidah Fatima. He did not consent to Ali’s second marriage to depress his daughter. By considering that act of the Messenger of Allah, it can be stated that Muslim daughters and fathers may object to the second marriage of their husband or son-in-law. Remember: Never do a secret nikah. Always get your families involved. Never meet the man or woman alone. In polygamy, you must meet the frist wife. Never be a secret wife or husband. Do tahajjud. Everyone wants to change the rules that Allah set forth in the Quran! Allah is in charge and what HE says goes! Many of ya'll is just gonna have to do what your creator said and practice what the prophet (saw) did! That's the bottom line! HE knows what's best for us! We don't! You women, you rather for your husband to keep lusting after women and have a girlfriend on the side or do what Allah said to do?
Unbiased and not watered down, and according to the Quran and Sunnah - as always. It's amazing the number of women between the ages of 30-40 who are looking to get married. The solution is polygamy.
This is never a very good excuse to marry a second wife. You see I am a woman and I know from experience that many women (at least where I come from) reach that age because they have rejected many or a number of eligible suitors (God fearing hardworking men) for one worldly reason or another. By the time they hit 30 or 40 that same suitor is probably married with kids, she either lowers her standards and marry him or he would progressed beyond what she ever dreamed of back then. Everything has its time, but even the Prophet SAW has said that one of the things we should do in haste is marry off a girl immediately she is old enough. Secondly most men who take a second wufe complain their wives are old and end up marrying a younger wife and in most cases the 30-40 year old is same age or older than his first wife. So how does that help them?
It could be the solution if it was necessary. However, most of those 30-40 year old women are also looking for a monogamous marriage. So many of them would stay away from a man who is already married. Unfortunately the excuses for polygamy have run out in this day and age for most men as the way many women see it. Women have become more educated, there is no war happening and most societies, even muslim ones are primarily monogamous. Hence many women see it as "settling" to be with a man who can't give them a monogamous relationship. Especially educated ones who can easily provide for themselves and would rather stay alone than be with someone who cant give them what they want. Many men are also reverting to islam today so muslim women's options are increasing for a choice to have a good muslim husband who is educated, will treat her well and also be monogamous. Especially because most reverts come from a culture where a wife is treated with affection and respect the way Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) treated his wives. Unfortunately some "muslim" men of today only like to get excited over following this one sunnah of not being monogamous but cannot even practice other basic sunnah like speaking kindly with your wife, giving her allowance, playing with her etc. Sorry to be forward but many are not even great in the bedroom. Most of then who come from typically "muslim" communities usually have the belief from pagan days that women are not as sexual beings and will then approach intimacy as a way to satisfy their own needs. Most women dont really see the benefit in being with this kind of man, especially if he cant even satisfy her but willing to hurt her even more just to satisfy himself with vain reasons. Hence, many women today are not older and single because their husbands died in war and they have no home etc. They see it as they would rather wait for the right man then suffer with a "hypocrite" who uses polygamy as an excuse for not being able to be chaste

I was just speaking for what I have seen and heard in society today. Especially from a lot of my older female friends. I am saying many women of today are less reluctant to go into a marriage that is not monogamous because they have many options they prefer better. So the whole "too many single women in their 30s and 40s" does not really work as a good excuse in today's society in order to be polygamous. Also, many men of today do not even know how to be with one wife that they would have capacity to be with more than one lol. Having more wives is a good thing. You need at least 2 to have 2 kids a year x 10 years = 20 kids. The third wife will take care of the children, the fourth will take care of cooking and cleaning. To be fair each wife will rotate from being a birther to the babysitter to the cooker every year.
Lol sounds like you’re hiring employees for a company with different roles than getting married. A wife is more than just a means to fulfill something. With all respect, I don't know any men in the African American community who fully support multiple wives financially. They all want the sexual satisfaction but rare is one who takes this on seriously and responsibly. If a man does this, alhamdulullah, but he's rare. I think it's not fair to belittle women as just jealous. Rights are not being given and wives are forced to work outside the home because of the irresponsible men. Many women are willing to help financially because we see how hard it is for our men to survive. But it feels like a stab in the back when we're doing that, then he comes home with 2nd wife as though he is a real provider. Why aren't there more talks encouraging men to provide? I'm not talking about cars and big houses, no. I mean a clean safe home/apt, food and a few outfits per year for wife and to fulfill needs of children. So maybe they'll have a modest life, but at least she won't have to be thrust into the cold world of work or begging her family for money or WELFARE. If men are taking on full responsibility, a woman can get used to the idea of 2nd wife a lot easier because we want another sister to be "saved from the streets" even if we're dying from jealousy, we at least are secure. But most men who do this are not pious or responsible. Then now you've ruined 2 women's lives! May Allah protect us from these problems. The biggest thing we need in our community right now are strong families and less breakage! May Allah protect us and guide us.

For a real intellectual man or a man with purpose in life , his focus will be on his work . Its so difficult to manage one wife and few children. Only lustful men who need to learn self control will marry multiple women. And its very difficult to manage responsibilities. Human beings should focus on better things than simply breeding. Marriage is for companionship for many people. People marry for a relationship , if you can't give that to her then what have you given her.

I would give it up for the sake of Allah if it was necessary. However, I would still prefer to be with a man who is ABLE to be monogamous. A man who lusts after other women when he has a wife at home giving him his rights and uses polygamy as an excuse needs counselling in my opinion. Polygamy is not the solution for not being able to be chaste. Polygamy is to help the overall society when needed. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was able to he both monogamous and polygamous. He was monogamous for several years while with Khadeeja (may Allah be pleased with her). So it is also sunnah to be able to be monogamous and faithful to one wife.
We dont need a good reason from anyone's viewpoint to have a 2nd 3rd and 4th wife.

Clearly this is talking about the protection of Orphans and not mens desires. Why would quran mention protection of Orphans then tell men to marry 2,3 or 4. Its to protect the Orphan children by marrying widowed women with children. No where in the quran does the prophet or Allah say marrying more ten 1 is to protect mens chastity. If Allah in the quran tells men to be PATIENT and guard their sexual desires untill married, how on earth is one going to say getting a second wife is to protect a man from zinnah. Be patient just how Allah tells men to be untill they are financially able to get married. Mens sexual desires is a test for men, if it was that easy, what would men get tested on?

Salam sister, I will respectfully disagree. It is not always beautiful. Sometimes it can be a disaster especially if the man does it for bad intentions. If done with proper intention and the requirements are met, then yes, it can be beautiful. Just not always. It is also not a requirement, simply an option. Please remember that the Prophet (pbuh) was also married to one woman for several years. So being monogamous is also a valid option and can be just as beautiful if not more. Basically it all comes down to the intention of the person

A woman does not consent to share her husband with another woman under normal circumstances, and no woman would like to marry a married man unless she has to.
It is a necessity of belief that polygamy is right. However, to believe it does not necessarily mean for a woman to consent to the second wife and approve it.
No believer father would like his son-in-law to marry a second, third or fourth woman along with his daughter. The jealous nature of the woman and the affection of the father for his daughter disapproves this. As a matter of fact, the daughter of our beloved Prophet, Sayyidah Fatima, objected to her husband, Ali’s marrying of a second woman. If it weren’t permissible to object, Sayyidah Fatima, who was brought up by our Prophet, would not have objected. The Messenger of Allah would have warned her and ordered her to consent to her husband’s wish. However, it did not take place like that. On the contrary, the Messenger of Allah, who saw that his daughter was worried, asked Ali to give up his wish and told him that if he did not give it up, he could marry another woman after divorcing Sayyidah Fatima. He did not consent to Ali’s second marriage to depress his daughter.
By considering that act of the Messenger of Allah, it can be stated that Muslim daughters and fathers may object to the second marriage of their husband or son-in-law.

It's amazing the number of women between the ages of 30-40 who are looking to get married. The solution is polygamy.
This is never a very good excuse to marry a second wife. You see I am a woman and I know from experience that many women (at least where I come from) reach that age because they have rejected many or a number of eligible suitors (God fearing hardworking men) for one worldly reason or another. By the time they hit 30 or 40 that same suitor is probably married with kids, she either lowers her standards and marry him or he would progressed beyond what she ever dreamed of back then. Everything has its time, but even the Prophet SAW has said that one of the things we should do in haste is marry off a girl immediately she is old enough. Secondly most men who take a second wufe complain their wives are old and end up marrying a younger wife and in most cases the 30-40 year old is same age or older than his first wife. So how does that help them?
It could be the solution if it was necessary. However, most of those 30-40 year old women are also looking for a monogamous marriage. So many of them would stay away from a man who is already married. Unfortunately the excuses for polygamy have run out in this day and age for most men as the way many women see it. Women have become more educated, there is no war happening and most societies, even muslim ones are primarily monogamous. Hence many women see it as "settling" to be with a man who can't give them a monogamous relationship. Especially educated ones who can easily provide for themselves and would rather stay alone than be with someone who cant give them what they want. Many men are also reverting to islam today so muslim women's options are increasing for a choice to have a good muslim husband who is educated, will treat her well and also be monogamous. Especially because most reverts come from a culture where a wife is treated with affection and respect the way Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) treated his wives. Unfortunately some "muslim" men of today only like to get excited over following this one sunnah of not being monogamous but cannot even practice other basic sunnah like speaking kindly with your wife, giving her allowance, playing with her etc. Sorry to be forward but many are not even great in the bedroom. Most of then who come from typically "muslim" communities usually have the belief from pagan days that women are not as sexual beings and will then approach intimacy as a way to satisfy their own needs. Most women dont really see the benefit in being with this kind of man, especially if he cant even satisfy her but willing to hurt her even more just to satisfy himself with vain reasons. Hence, many women today are not older and single because their husbands died in war and they have no home etc. They see it as they would rather wait for the right man then suffer with a "hypocrite" who uses polygamy as an excuse for not being able to be chaste

I was just speaking for what I have seen and heard in society today. Especially from a lot of my older female friends. I am saying many women of today are less reluctant to go into a marriage that is not monogamous because they have many options they prefer better. So the whole "too many single women in their 30s and 40s" does not really work as a good excuse in today's society in order to be polygamous. Also, many men of today do not even know how to be with one wife that they would have capacity to be with more than one lol. Having more wives is a good thing. You need at least 2 to have 2 kids a year x 10 years = 20 kids. The third wife will take care of the children, the fourth will take care of cooking and cleaning. To be fair each wife will rotate from being a birther to the babysitter to the cooker every year.
