I’m curious on your Desert Lizard setup here. Do you happen to know what spring configuration and weight shock oil you’re running in this video? 90mm Desert Lizards?
Frame/trans/exa10.2 builders kit $150 Shocks, $50/70 Axial portals only come off a rtr or kit so at least $200 Wheels & tires, at least $100/200 Motor & servo & electronics $310 $800 lowball $1100 highball 500$ rtr You Won. Lol. Worth it.
Yeah It started as a kit then I had the axles and parts laying around the wheels and tires were his and the electronics in it are nice but overall it wasn't worth 800 it was a even trade
@@wyatteggett9230 If you are departed out and build it that's what you would be into. Really close. Definitely good fair trade. I've done both & ultimately it's what is worth to you is all that ultimately matters... lol
Are you running the shocks spring less? I can't seem to get my lizards setup quite right! I have the small springs in them above the piston, with 20w oil up front and 40 rear.
Put capera axles on my Deadbolt ..... bought some cheap ones on Amazon then added JB weld to the front C's for strength . Made delrin links and used jato rod end to put the wheel base at 13.5. Ordered a VP dig unit a few days ago. I like it now almost as much as the wroncho I built about 5 years ago.
Hey Logan, luvin the vids, like how your giving an overview of your trucks. With all due respect in regards to your steering servo, don't waste your time with NSD I've recently heard alot of bad things about that company, do yourself a favor and go Reefs, U won't be disappointed. Cheers Mate..
Nsdrc are fire weve got almost 20 of them in are crawler club #knightsferrycrawlers and not 1 issue i have however seen a reefs 422 and 555 melt down on the trail not sure where your getting your info
Mostly for looks. It looks more like real 42” tires on 20” wheels which is what BFGs are 1:1 the weight is basically the same so I’m not really counting on that
I think you should have upgraded the gladiator to beat those shorter rigs.. personally you got ripped off. But as long as YOU ENJOY it you can put value on that
@@westdesertwheeler okay I just wanted to know if I was in the right direction. I’m at 5” of flex on 75% droop running 4,75” tire so I should be good then.

Logan, thanks for the breakdown. It was very helpful.
Great video, as always. Nice rig. John
Really nice walk through on this build. Great video!
really good video, useful to see the full set up and some great knowledge. This build is cool, interested to see how it progresses. thanks!
NSDRC FTW best servo I've used Great rig Logan Super shafty wild overdrive will really help in climbing and turning radius for your comps 👍 🤜💥🤛

great truck, the team garage hack Capra wheels are great, very high quality
love the video. would love to see our IDGAF DILLIGAF carbon fiber chassis on it
What spring rates are you running. Medium in front and soft in rear?
Love that truck! Wish I still had my old 10ii
I like it. I think you done well buddy looks like a supper clean good running truck. Great video great work
Love the build! And the ar45 you can get a soa mount for the vanquish axles

Springs under piston for a drop setup

What would you keep if you had to get rid of one? your capra or this? Please let me know
Hi buddy can i plz ask you what weight oil did you use for you shocks??
So you stretched those 1.9 tires over 2.2 wheels ?
Trx4 portals with 1tenth scale servo on axle mount , on my element enduro . I have it slammed , and it works amazing since I did the SOA
Like this kind of video. Thanks. Can you do your other crawlers now
Great video! Would an axe 2100kv be too low for this set up?

Okay your the first one to say a comp rig needs a good amount of suspension travel. I’ve cut mine down so how much it too much and what’s not enough.
Cool build🤙
Reason for running 2.2 wheels on 1.9 tires?
Do you run the 2.2 wheels for aesthetic reasons or because it gets you more weight at the corners and lower to the ground?
Mostly for looks. It looks more like real 42” tires on 20” wheels which is what BFGs are 1:1 the weight is basically the same so I’m not really counting on that
I liked the Gladiator but can't deny that's a legit crawler. Think the Gladiator could have ever crawled that good?
For sure not lol
@@ashleyconnelley556 why not?
What shocks are thoses
FourlinkzRC Here! Subbed 👊
Is there an advantage to running 2.2 wheels on 1.9 tires?
Originally it was for portal clearance
Nice rig.
It’s not a true comp build until you flat rail it. Brushed for comp rigs. Better startup control. Stock trans. No overdrive?

I like it around 1 tire height of articulation
