Are there still any territories left at Dominoes? With over 6000k restaurants, Probably not, right? I’m thinking of working as a manager for a year to get a franchise but don’t want to waste my time if there aren’t any territories
i’m part of Premier Martial Arts I don’t think this year will be it’s last,as almost a red belt in this martial arts school it’s still growing strong with new members every day! In the 4 years i’ve been there it’s still strong, for now at least.
dont kid yourself mate, the school is a joke. I was a student, you are wasting your money and not being taught anything of value. Its a mcdojo. i got my "black belt" from this piss poor excuse of school and trashed it and the cert because i realized how much nonsense this school was about. Kids skip belts all the time if they cough up enough money, i watched it happened first hand against a kid when i the same belt as him and he skipped 2 but was completely shit at everything he did... hell i constantly beat his ass everytime in sparring.
@@Vettedbizwell I worked at this school and had to back away because I can’t pretend to teach children false confidenc. This school sucks. They gave me "belts" like it was going out of style...and wanted more and more money for teaching me NOTHING. I'm glad they closed those many years ago.
@@Silver_wind_1987_ My school constantly just teaches the same thing over and over again. The curriculum never advances. We are still learning how to throw a jab and a cross. The only kick we do is a round kick. Maybe once a month we do one other kind of kick like a front kick.
This martial arts franchise is a joke among actual martial artists. Only those who are stuck in the system give it accolades. Their martial arts tend to be subpar, it’s a mish mash of various styles without real foundations in any. Not good.
@@Vettedbiz as a martial artist, I wouldn’t recommend any “brand” or franchise. “Premier Martial Arts” is just one of the most prominent franchised “martial arts” facilities. Go to legitimate gyms that have experienced coaches that have competed, or have been battle tested with full contact sparring and/or competitions. It’s common for places like “Premier Martial Arts” to have managers/owners and instructors who have no experience on the subject(s) they’re teaching(that being martial arts). Like the commenter above stated, “Premier” mixes and botches random techniques from multiple martial arts( Krav Maga, kickboxing, boxing, Muay Thai) that is taught by inexperienced instructors. Oftentimes, the instructors don’t have experience in any of the arts, so they themselves don’t even know proper techniques. If you’re physically tested(as scary as that sounds) on your techniques via sparring, then you would have some certainty that your your arts valid for real life scenarios, which would make it viable. What places like “Premier” do is graft multiple techniques from various arts, which are then often taught by inexperienced instructors. This wouldn’t even be as problematic if they didn’t brand some of their curriculum as “self-defense”. But they do. Trying to use technique taught by Premier Martial Arts in real self-defense scenarios would get you hurt BADLY. Even the “traditional” martial arts schools a step up in quality from Premier, and that’s not saying much. I’ve went on long enough, so I’ll come to my conclusion. Legitimate martial arts facilities operate out of passion for the arts/sports. Mcdojos like Premier are selling a highly accessible product. They bank off of people ignorant of martial arts, waste you and your children’s time, empty your wallet, give away belts like a charity, and leave the “students” with a false sense of security.
@@VettedbizI went on a bit of a tangent there, but I want to clarify my point by elaborating on some key points. In regards to martial arts the main focus is effectiveness. Some people take up martial arts for the principles, meditation, and philosophy. And that’s fine. Most people I know who join a martial arts system join primarily to learn self-defense. Practicality. The legitimate schools don’t give out made-up ranks and titles just for paying money. You earn your rank. Research “Mcdojo” for a more in-depth explanation. You wouldn’t hire a home renovator without seeing some of their work, would you? You shouldn’t pay for martial arts classes without seeing their legitimacy through a trial either. But Mcdojos customers are people who aren’t aware they’re investing in a faulty, subpar, and overall illegitimate system.
