Ive said this over and over again but I swear if that wall had a overhang it would be impossible for the zombies to get over it like that unless they create a pile 10x the size of the one they showed here. It would either have to start further away from the wall and just be free standing in the open with a chance to fall or get knocked over by gunfire or explosives, or it would start at the wall and they pile up more and more until the edge gets up and over the overhang which is unlikely since they would be more spread out
As a veteran, I will say this scene annoyed me because every military in the world knows flat walls can be breached. No need for an overhang, just a layer of concertina wire would have prevented this. Fotfication 101. hollywood doesnt understand that obviously.

I really can't get past how the zombies just run right around the sick people. The zombies are already trampling one another, I don't see why the wouldn't do the same to a sick person even if they weren't attacking them Edit: I really don't get what everyone isn't getting about my comment. Yes, the zombies ignore the sick people, whether its because they think they're already infected, are trying to avoid them, or they're just invisible to them. The problem though is that the zombies routinely trample over and run into EACH OTHER while running after people. If the infected see these sick people as other zombies, why don't they trample them as well? If the sick people are invisible to the zombies, wouldn't the zombies run into them accidentally while stampeding? Even if they are trying to avoid the sick people, how would an entire crowd of them know to do so, even when moving as fast as they are, and having so little room to maneuver? They run into walls and over one another, the idea that they would just not even bump into the sick people makes absolutely no sense
I think the Zombies don't see the sick as other Zombies, but instead they see the sick like they are obstacles so they treat them like a stone column or a Telephone pole. And what do you do when you are chasing someone and there is a Telephone pole in your way? You go around it obviously!
You don't see the zombies running right into a wall. They walk around any solid objects they see, unless they hear a human directly behind it, and can't go around it.
@@own4801 I get that, but I think the in universe logic is that by being sick, the infected see them as also infected. I don't think they view them as solid objects or invisible, but as other infected, which we see them trample

If the Zombies viewed the sick as other Zombies, but have you seen when they were running past the bald kid, NONE of the Zombies bumped or even touched eachother? Maybe the Zombies Will avoid other Zombies, so hypothetically. If a Zombie was standing afk in the middle of the road, the other Zombies would also go around him. Ok but about the part where they were trampling eachother on the stairs? That's when stuff gets rough. Heres the thing, we have to remember that there are more than a thousand Zombies enclosed in one small area, there is absolutely no way they are gonna be avoiding bumping or trampling other Zombies, so if a Sick person would to be face to face with one of those Zombie tsunamis. They would get trampled too as the Zombies literally could not move out of there way.
This was scary 😂 they was very aggressive more than other zombie movies. How they throw themselves around and all was very dope and made me watch this clip over and over for the thrill.
Technically I think the army was the best people here because at first they were trying to stop them from singing too loudly therefore attracting the zombies and could hold them back for a couple of mins props to them
It would have been more realistic if they show the first hundreds of zombies falling to their death. But then as their bodies pile up, the mount of dead zombies get higher. Soon the other zombies does not fall very far at all, so they survive and attack.
Would've been more realistic if the military did their job with those choppers which was to go look outside and patrol around the outer parts of the wall cuz they had ZERO People on said walls let alone cameras or surveillance systems. Which is a massive failure
@@koreancowboy42 I mean they did their job way better than any military in a zombie movie or sho like the walking dead for example which the military collapsed by slow and weak ass zombies with the intelligent of dumber than a houseplant

I like that the military is actually doing their jobs and they don't get overwhemed cuz they weren't paying attention, they got overwhelmed cuz theres a horde knocking at their door and said horde is made of usain bolt level fast zombies that don't feel pain
Except they weren't paying attention..... The choppers were patrolling the inner parts of the city and not outside it? Along side the tall wall was useless and provided more of a blind eye where the people can't see outside it. No surveillance systems no nothing.
The military was not doing their job.1 helicopter and a few infantrymen, and no perimeter watch. Not to mention they were dancing and blasting music the whole time. They had it coming.
The zombie leaping towards the soldier at 1:20 really looks like the first zombie Brad Pitt witnesses turn in New York. Wonder how he ended up in Jerusalem !
Zombie are literal walking dead. The people that was bitten will be dead after minutes of it. The dead virus that corrupted the body of a human became undead. It means he cant die on a normal weapons. If it will be a vial inside a bullet of all the weapons maybe they're all dead or became normal back again.

In my opinion they should have added a protruding tip that prevented the zombies from going over the wall. No matter how high they can climb there’s no way they’ll be able to climb past the tip

@@darling645 The point is zombie movies are kind of stupid if you don't suspend your brain. A city the size of Jerusalem would never allow a threat as dangerous as that to sit outside their wall. They would bring the full force of their military upon such a threat. Think hundreds of helicopters. Armored bull Dozers digging trenches. Morters and heavy weapons rockets and cluster bombs from the air. Tanks and Heavy armored vehicles would make this a turkey shoot. Movies always limit the Zombie fight to conventional weapons when the military has so much more. Ship to land cruise missiles and heavy land bombardment the zombies have absolutely no chance of defeating no military on this planet.Hell, just position 30 or 40 heavy machine guns 50 and 20 cal guns on top of the wall and blast. They would rip the human body to shreds no wall climbing. They make the military look totally incompetent.
@@fixmypc3798You are correct there, but you have to also keep in mind the type of zombie they are showing in this movie. Even with full arsenals, a lot of thosehigher tier weapons require support systems like supply lines and spotters to stay effective. With WWZ movie zombies, those supply chains are gonna get overwhelmed almost instantly if a sizable enough force of zombies comes in, which will cripple the overall effectiveness of the military. And that's not even considering the havoc a panicking civilian population adds to the equation. Plus, these zombies can quite easily replace their lost numbers if not contained quickly enough, which seems to require some god tier reflexes.😅
Or survived if they had actual watch towers on the walls and men on the walls looking out with choppers keeping an eye outside the walls and not inside it
Shooting it wouldn't do anything... shooting just kills the zombies, it doesn't stop their dead bodies continuing to be a ramp anyway. (And if they had enough ammo to kill ALL zombies, why'd they need a wall in the first place)
Re watched this last night it occurred to me Imagine having been the first person to have started singing and basically single handily brought down Jerusalem
To be honest rewatching this it's pretty obvious all the zombies should have gone splat, and this would become the easiest/funniest way to clear an area of zombies. Just set up a death pit and put loud noise in it.
Bruh, you literally learned a lesson 2 minutes ago (that zombies are numerous enough to fill up a ramp the height of the wall) and then failed to apply the lesson you just learned 2 minutes ago and got outsmarted by zombies again. They would splat, sure. ... and then start piling up... and form a pile as big as the one on the other side of the wall in a few minutes and now have a ramp on both sides.
@@BlazingOwnager all humans in a conical pile would reach about 20,000 feet high... in a narrow ditch, with constrained walls (so they don't have to fan out into a massive cone), much much higher than that. If you had a say... 10m wide moat, that was 1 KILOMETER deep, it would only take 2% of humans to fill it in a freely spreading 10m thick triangle (spreading out a base of support along the length of the trench still). The largest open pit mine in the world is barely 1km deep.
@@gavinjenkins899 rofl wait, you're building one hole for everyone on earth? lol. How the hell would that work Yyou'd build a bunch of holes about 10 floors deep and again, filled with incinerators. Army could have that done in like 12 hours and you'd pretty much sort out the local zombie problem.
@@BlazingOwnager read the comment first, maybe. The only PLAUSIBLE hole you could build (which would probably flood anyway) of 100m or so deep, 10m wide, would only hold about 0.02% of humanity. Ignoring the incinerators completely since they are an absolutely absurd concept, they don't have multiple giant oil tankers sitting in the middle of the city lol. It takes 28 gallons of gas to cremate a single body. Not to mention youd also kill everyone in town with CO2 and CO poisoning
This shocked me. It makes me think of the October 7 attack. A group of Israelis start making loud music too close to the wall, which brings rage and causes a breach and a brutal response.
You're not supposed to think too hard about this scene. If the zombies could overcome the wall this easily, they would have done so already. And realistically speaking the Israeli military would have had a lot more firepower on hand to deal with this. A rocket or two from an attack helicopter would have easily stopped the zombie pileup.
teriifying in this movie is not only the fact how quickly infected turns into zombies, but also that zombies wants only to infect, not to eat their victims like in rest of zombie movies
Yeah the zombies can run and jump like if they wore gifted for that shit, when in reality their bones should all be broken and barely be able to crawl after the fall
the amount of bodies from the zombies that died or were immobile due to the fall would probably provide cushion for the other zombies free falling . i mean LOOK at the many bodies on the ground
@@koreancowboy42why would they put people on the walls including surveillance when they don't even know that the zombies could scale that big of a wall, do you expect the military to know everything about a threat
This is the best scene in the movie in my opinion, but I still hate the fact that just because one kid sang near a wall, it led to so much destruction.
My personal suggestion would be 6 3A-MJPs patrolling in the area and 3 more outside, and they should have bulit bunkers for civilians to evacuate more easily and not roam around like a buffet, 0:36 in were the roads are the refugee vans, they should have bulit concrete walls and have guards. They should have 15 3A-MJP helicopters patrolling in the area but they will be divided, for outside patrols and inside patrols. They should have had machine guns at the cat walks like they had in the game. I did not understand when the part where the helicopter crashes, how did the zombies climb it if the helicopter was only 2 feet away from the cliff.
What do you mean how in physics? Go grab a handful of sand and start pouring it next to a cardboard box and see what happens... it will form a big pile that creates a ramp. Except zombie bodies link together a lot better than sand does, what with all the interlocking limbs. So it can be a lot steeper and still be stable

The best thing about this movie is that the zombies are actually smart instead of being as stupid as a mindless deer like how those other zombie movies would portray a zombie. And the military was actually doing their job and was able to hold the zombies back for about 2 - 4 minutes before getting overwhelmed, in other zombie movies the military get overwhelmed right away which ruins the movie. It's like they give the MILITARY the strength and durability of a newbie officer.

Ive said this over and over again but I swear if that wall had a overhang it would be impossible for the zombies to get over it like that unless they create a pile 10x the size of the one they showed here. It would either have to start further away from the wall and just be free standing in the open with a chance to fall or get knocked over by gunfire or explosives, or it would start at the wall and they pile up more and more until the edge gets up and over the overhang which is unlikely since they would be more spread out
OMG! This was exactly what popped up in my mind when I watched the movie years ago.😃

I really can't get past how the zombies just run right around the sick people. The zombies are already trampling one another, I don't see why the wouldn't do the same to a sick person even if they weren't attacking them
Edit: I really don't get what everyone isn't getting about my comment. They run into walls and over one another, the idea that they would just not even bump into the sick people makes absolutely no sense
becasue it the sick pepole cast a sorta bug repelant syle smell so thay move away from it
I think the Zombies don't see the sick as other Zombies, but instead they see the sick like they are obstacles so they treat them like a stone column or a Telephone pole.
@@jeffreypeters2803 okay, so i'll take it. If the Zombies viewed the sick as other Zombies, but have you seen when they were running past the bald kid, NONE of the Zombies bumped or even touched eachother? Ok but about the part where they were trampling eachother on the stairs? That's when stuff gets rough. Heres the thing, we have to remember that there are more than a thousand Zombies enclosed in one small area, there is absolutely no way they are gonna be avoiding bumping or trampling other Zombies, so if a Sick person would to be face to face with one of those Zombie tsunamis. They would get trampled too as the Zombies literally could not move out of there way.
