If your goal this year or sooner is to achieve Spanish Fluency, then the absolute best thing that you can do is to purchase Paul's course. It is superior to all language courses on the market and I'll actually give you my personal and I think to a great degree, some objective reasons why it is the best course out there - period. First, Paul's course is a complete course. Other courses out there ( most of the "Big Brand" name course out there) only give you part of the picture. Paul starts off with an incremental and intuitive approach. Within the first couple of lessons, you can actually start speaking " Authentic Spanish" sentences with confidence. Paul's subsequent lessons build on the previous lessons, thus giving you a solid foundation from which to build your Spanish Lexicon. Paul uses an intuitive approach, by this, I mean that the methodology that he employs encourages the student to think it out for themselves. This process fosters true learning because you don't memorize anything, you actually lean the material. Once you learn the material, it's with you forever. Paul uses a review technique after each substantial body of learning material that truly gauges your progress through the course and gives you gentle guidance if you need it. Another great feature is that Paul is always available to you. He is eager to help, gives clear and easily comprehensible explanations and takes great pleasure when his students succeed. Personally, when I reached Paul's modules on the Subjunctive tense, I was blown away. After dozens of courses and lame explanations that still left me wondering, after the first go-round, I was speaking to native Spanish-speakers with total confidence. I was even able to crack jokes with them and make them laugh. Agree totally! My ex-wife is Mexican, my current wife is Ecuadorian. I lived in Mexico for a year and a half, and now have lived in Quito, Ecuador for the same length of time. I have paid for - and used - Rosetta Stone and 30 Day Spanish. I am a TESOL certified ESL teacher. But I have mastered - really mastered - more truly usable Spanish in the two months since discovering Spanish with Paul than I had learned in all of my previous experiences! Bravo, Paul!

Craig M. Stram I agree,I love the course. He gives so much useful information in his free videos, but it does not compare to the full course. If you're serious about learning Spanish, you have to take the full course. It is much better than any other coarse I've taken.

He really is a good teacher, I just realize why, he’s a native English speaker and he teaches Spanish from a totally different point of view from a native Spanish speaker.

NOW that I am paid member, I FINALLY realize how important it was to QUIT WRITING and Start LISTENING and PAUSING /ANSWERING and PRACTICING. Gee, after all these years too. I can't learn Spanish as I learned history etc., where notes and note taking were so important. Thanks Paul -- from the Yanqui Gringo !

Omg! I have searched and searched all the internet all the apps for anything that can actually help me learn spanish. Paul your videos are the only thing that has actually helped me. I live your videos and i am so beyond greatful for your lessons please keep them comming. Can you do a lesson on how to use words in sentences and depending on whom you are talking about the word changes . .. example .. no Hablo espanol vs tu hablar espanol? Ummmm i dont speak spanish..do you speak spanish ... does he speak spanish .. hablar..hablo...hablamos etc i know the words change depending on who is talking and who one is talking about .. i hope this makes sense.
Paul actually goes over that in depth in his full course. It's a bit outside the scope of these mini-lessons.
However, you are correct that Spanish verbs change according to person and number. So to use your example, it would be (yo) hablo español, (tú) hablas español, (él/ella/usted) habla español, (nosotros/nosotras) hablamos español, (vosotros/vosotras) habláis español, (ellos/ellas/ustedes) hablan español.
I put the subject pronouns in parentheses because those are optional in Spanish, since the verb endings already tell us who the subject of the verb is. Subject pronouns are only required in Spanish when it is not clear who the subject is or when an emphasis or a contrast is desired. And vosotros/vosotras is only used in Spain. Everywhere else, ustedes is used as the plural of tú.
Whar Nisbet I would suggest taking his full course. You will learn all of that and much more. It's very reasonabley priced and very worth it if you want to learn Spanish.
I am from Cuba. Spanish is my native language. If I say in spanish....... yo hablo Español....... Tú hablas Español........Ella habla Español and so on with all the different singular and plural pronouns but If I wanted to make a question for example.... Do you speak Spanish ?I left the sentence in the same order as in an affirmative sentences ,I only change the intonation....Tu hablas Español?We only change the intonation.

_Have been_ translates directly as _haber estado_
Just conjugate _haber_ + _estado_ + gerund form so you get, respectively:
_He estado durmiendo_
_He estado trabajando_
_He estado usando_
And so on...

I have enjoyed all the lessons but I am twisted up with the sentence "ni siquiera puedo hablar con ella" the logic goes over my head here. Can someone help me make sense of this sentence IN ENGLISH please. It seems to translate " I don't even can't talk with her. Is this one of the phrases that will only make sense in Spanish?
I don't get where the PUEDO pops in sentences out of no where! Everything else was perfect lol
I know what you mean - for me the confusion comes from hearing 'siquiera' as if it's a verb, whereas it's an adverb meaning something more like 'not even'. So the whole sentence is something like: Ni siquiera [Not even] puedo [I am able] hablar con ella [to talk to her]. I'm always forgetting to put the verb afterwards and I'm having to force myself to hear it this way.
Ni siquiera can be translated as don't even or can't even but with the verb poder it's can't even. so the sentence "ni siquiera puedo hablar con ella" is saying I can't even speak with her or I can't even talk to her.

"Siquiera" is pretty accepted as "even". To give the "even" an adverbial use, it needs a helper... Hence poder means "has the ability to..." and conjugated to "puedo" is "I can". "Ni" means "not", but so does "No". Putting a "not" in an adverbial use, one uses "ni". "Siquiera puedo" means "I can even", like "I can even jump higher (if needed)". "Ni siquiera puedo" means "I cannot even". "No puedo" means "I can't. Using "siquiera" is for emphasis (hopefully on the correct syllable! jajaja).

Is this a phrase best used with people you are well acquainted with or can it be used with strangers as well? In the US if someone asks you a question and you reply with I don’t even know and less you’re well acquainted with that person it may seem like you were being rude

Just add the pronoun you need and conjugate the verb in their respective form:
You don't even know - (tú) Ni siquiera sabes;
He/She/It doesn't even find them - (él/ella/eso) Ni siquiera los encuentra;
We don't even were walking - (nosotros) Ni siquiera íbamos caminando;
Y'all/ They don't even will taste - (ustedes/ellos) Ni siquiera probarán...

let’s say if you want to clarify who you’re talking about. i’ve seen this reemphasis with direct indirect pronoun use through saying “a ella” or like “a madre.”
