    I'd say Stun Decks should be a separate entry from Control because Stun Decks are much more extreme. Control Decks have a lot more interactions with the opponent. There is much more back and forth. Stun Decks however play a large number of flood gates and want the opponents deck to be incapable of being played as it was intended. They want to slow down the opponent to their level while Control Decks want to outgrind him.

      Monarchs and Floowndereezes are super Aggressive with their control Setups! I hate how both Decks not only focus on Tribute, but crippling your extra deck and stalling your special Summons.
      And I’m seeing the same thing from Bystials-tears, except they control you Grave and Extra deck monsters Hard!

    I think its funny that with how faster the game has become, the harder its become to classify a deck as a ramp deck.
    Like, the best example I can think of in 2024 is Drytron. I'm told that Danger Tear and Branded also count as ramp, but i have a hard time swallowing that pill.

    One of my favorite decks is Infernity. It’s a combo deck but with searchable negates and back row. The modern equivalent is Salamangreat or Ritual Beasts. I think that’s my favorite kind. Not full OTK not full control.

    • @dudono1744
      @dudono1744 ปีที่แล้ว

      Infernity is literally a deck that lasts 1 turn because you need to keep your hand empty for the traps so most of the time you can't do much after 1 turn. Unless you draw into launcher/mirage/archfiend

    Weather Painters? Another Archetype I never heard of. New or older? I quit when Pendulum started and I bought $200 worth of BOS and got 0 CDIs. I think I have all AGGRO- CDs, BWs, RRs, INK, not sure about SHS but I guess Kaiju-Battleball-Steamtrain is too. Then equip double attack equip monster = 9600 damage. I have Earth Machine but I can't pilot that or INKs, Sharks and Deep Sea card rip. Naturally the DM, BEWD and REBD I'd never use. Give them to a friend and BW swarm their slowness.

      Ramp exists, its just that the game is so fast that classifying a deck as "ramp" has become incredibly difficult. As a result, its just easier for players to call ramp decks "combo" even if its not technically correct (and I hope to try to fix this problem in the community in my next video).
      The thing separating ramp from combo is that ramp can play going second (ramp decks going second are functionally a beatdown deck but with extra steps), and it doesn't lose as hard to interruptions during chokepoints.
      Branded is probably the poster child for ramp imo. Its not as flexible as something like Unchained, but it can still recover somewhat and it produces a more oppressive board akin to a combo deck.
