In case of Bamford Stevens we get only thermodynamically control product. Why?? What's the factor prevent the formation of kinetically control product ???
Thermodynamically stable product is more substituted and kinetic is less substituted , bcoz when the reaction gives thermodynamically stable product ( means at High temperature) ,it means that the reaction is reversible in nature..so if the product is less substituted (less substituted double bond not that much stable compared to more substituted ) bcoz of reversible nature of the reaction, starting material might be formed again... that's why more substituted considered as thermodynamically stable...just reverse rule applicable to kinetic product... reaction involving kinetic product are irreversible.
