Spot on mate you've done an outstanding job, mad to think what you said about not even able to change pads and you go on to build these cars hat off to you pal 👍
This has quickly become one of my top youtube channels, Love it. I'd love to see that in real life. I remeber being a little kid and getting Maxpower mags 💯 Keep this conent coming we need this!!! haha💯💯💥💥
That is one impressive Corsa. My friend had one with a standard 2 L red top and that was pretty scary to be honest. Once you get the bump steer sorted it will be a real weapon.
I remember you and the black car from the Corsa forum days in the early 00’s when I had my own black Corsa, great to see how far you and your skills have come mate, wish you all the best!
This channel is epic, really likeable dude, and epic build and back story, this is a superb example of having a dream and making it happen. Keep up the awesome content dude, epic stuff
Love watching this channel grow from day 1. Always remember the picture with the ladders on the roof from the corsasport days because i was also a window cleaner then using my '93 8v sri corsa 😂
Really enjoyed listening and understanding about this car, always loved the mad twin engine cars and the engineering that goes into making it happen. Keep up the great work.
If the bumpsteer is on the back , then get rid of the original uprights and fabricate your own with no steering arm , just two lower rosejoints vertically , similar to the lower wishbone on an MX5 . Great job so far 👏
Great video mate. Lots of information, and the bit I loved was the complete lack of bullshit and total honesty. Very humble, you seem like a likable bloke. I hope the new suspension setup allows you to make a quick quarter mile pass!
These were sold here in Australia as a Holden Barina and back in the Sex Spec/Auto Salon days (Max Power equivalent, time wise) were considered an absolute Joke and no one would even touch them, let alone consider modifying them. But this is FUCKING INCREDIBLE! The amount and quality of work youve done on your own, purely because you wanted to learn is utterly OUTSTANDING. Subbed! PS: Its still wild to me to see Cars that we here in OZ got at the same time and we completely ignored, be Modified to this extent and utterly loved. I had a very expensive Subscription to Max Power back in the day, shipped directly to Oz so i love all this stuff
Hi from durham mate👋👍 thanks for the in depth and bit of history on the beast👌 I cant wait to see it run a straight 1/4 once everything tweeked and your confident it can get past line under load👌👌 it will rip tarmac bbackwards under car and roll it up 😂 but what a journey you had with car man 👍 awesome mate thanks for your time and be safe see you soon👍👋
This is what its all about, just do what you want, not just what gets the most power for the least money etc 👌 hard work, and genuine uniqueness is whats lacking in the scene today
Hats off to ya fella, amazing build on your Corsa, shows you can always teach yourself new skills no matter where you are in life 🤪 great channel, I look forward to seeing you reviving some of the old Max Power/Fast Car Mag builds, good luck and go find them all 😉 watching from New Zealand 😃
Your Corsa b is just a little beast I love it If you have a Bugatti or a Corsa b with 1200hp I would love to be a passenger in your Corsa simple as keep up the good work mate
Quality build fella. I'll follow your socials - would love to see it eventually make a full pass. I reckon we should swap keys for a day and you can experience the pure adrenaline rush you get from making it up a hill in a 34bhp kei truck 🤣
Brilliant car. If you want to talk and learn suspension and eliminating bump steer. You could do a lot worse in the UK than talk to drifters. Contrary to popular opinion, we run as much rear grip as possible. While trying to maximize front end grip across a huge range of steering lock. All while getting rid of bump steer and having maximum adjustability. As a very basic example. A lot of us with 200sx/skylines/z32s run a bit of positive rear camber and VERY soft spring rates... When the car loads up, the suspension compresses and on throttle we get a flat contact patch and max grip. The soft springs help soak up some of the power transision (obviously this is a trade off when it comes to response but worth it). With us not having much of a drag scene here, you may find it easier to talk to people who know about these things. A lot of American drifters talk about drift cars being effectively drag cars that go round corners as rear grip is what makes the difference. Especially in a Motorsport where 1000hp is now considered totally normal in national level competition. Thanks for the channel. I'm off to watch more of your videos!
Beast mate. My kind of corsa is that. Great channel by the way, always watch your vids just subscribed as I didnt realise I hadn't. Good luck with the Audi too cant wait to see it finished but enjoying the build. Keep up the great channel bud 👍🏼
Good to finally get a tour of the car. It's a credit to your stamina to keep up with the schedule of a build like this. You mentioned that you had a custom camshaft grind done for the car. I've been looking for someone do one for my build and can't find any one willing to even look. Most won't even answer my enquiry email...
Drift works did a TH-cam video not so long ago on adjusting his bump steer on the e30 m3 maybe get some of the gear he has. Good video I loved my corsa bs when I was young.
Thats some neat work ,and alot of work . The gearbox though strong is a restriction and even has limitations if want to make new intrrnals for it as ive been asked previously. Im sure the suspension can be sorted with enough effort.
@@TwinEngineCorsa No, I am in engineering filed. I was asked to look into changing the F28's ratios years ago as 1st gear is extremely short. But internally it is not an ideal donour to redesign the internals and keeping the selector forks in place. So as strong as they are they not ideal for the forementioned reasons and the losses are pretty high through the box, though in your case you can afford the loss but on say a NA engine it's a noticeable disadvantage. Just my 2cents worth. Still like your car though and it is an accomplishment to complete a project of this nature.
Awesome car. And proper good vid to. That's speed wobble on the strip you showed gave me goose bumps proper adrenaline brown pant moment I bet 🤣💯👌. Awesome channel.
Geez... that suspension looks freakin dangerous... thats almost undriveable at max. Its going to be huge task getting that all sorted... I'm sure he will get there one day though. A mechanical link between both gearboxes would add a lot of stability rather then both ends losing traction seperately... doesn't really look possible though.. or at least not easily. Very unique and interesting project.
Awesome build and great to learn but ur skills. As shown by the gear lever design and the charge cooler system. I know you like the look of the standard Corsa but for the drag strip, would it be better to fitwider rims on the rear and tyres to help with the grip and have you got full adjustable toe links and control arms on the rear? Love this build 💯👍
Spot on mate you've done an outstanding job, mad to think what you said about not even able to change pads and you go on to build these cars hat off to you pal 👍

Exactly what i thought. This would have been a huge thing back in the day.
Agreed, this guy just oozes passion, love it!👌👌💯👊👍
Fully agree it's a proper piece of kit look forward to seeing it once it's all dialed in properly as well it's a credit to him 👏👏👍🏼
Was great to meet you today, thanks for taking the time to chat with me (ade with the texaco focus) 👍
What a story! You've gained so much respect from so many people 👏
For years if been thinking of twin engine cars looking them up I think the first one I saw was a golf
You just convinced me now to start building one
blown away by your skills.
Flipping brilliant!!! Watching from California. We don't have Opal over here. I remember when Opal were sponsor for Ireland in the World Cup! 👍💚☘️🇮🇪
This man is absolutely insane, and its fantastic!
Mega build that pal, no better feeling than starting from scratch from a bare shell and taking the first drive once complete. 🙌🏻
That is one impressive Corsa. My friend had one with a standard 2 L red top and that was pretty scary to be honest. Once you get the bump steer sorted it will be a real weapon.
Absolute beast, not trying to throw shade but I used to see this sort of thing all the time back in max power days golf's
Nice to learn a bit more on the Corsa.
Awesome work 👌
Absolutely love this car it’s the only corsa I’ve ever actually been totally interested in 😅
I remember you and the black car from the Corsa forum days in the early 00’s when I had my own black Corsa, great to see how far you and your skills have come mate, wish you all the best!
Brilliant to watch mate, was great to meet you at the NEC! Top bloke.
Mark from Sheffield 👍🏻
Spectacular build with a fine eye for detail.
Absolute weapon of a car and something you should be very proud of.
Tell you what mate you’re naturally gifted to have the skills you have now after 15 years. Especially when not starting in the trade from school
Saw this monster at the NEC on Saturday.. very cool!

Well done... for self learning and building something really cool...
Cracking video and what a machine - Sure i recognise the black Corsa from the Migweb days... Looking forward to updates
Great video mt! Brilliant bit of engineering and great get up and go to help others push on with their cars
This video is an inspiration, thanks a lot!!!

Brilliant video
I was always a Ford man bitd... but fair play to ya on this build! Good job 👍

Do you have a gearbox company? With you saying make new internals?

lol i think completing a qtr mile run in that and living to tell the tale would be an accomplishment in itself :P
I remember the twin engined NOVA featured in Fast Car magazine years before this. Anyone else ?
Love all the details you explained. Fantastic and crazy build.
Would it be possible to know the dimensions of the Barrel chargecoolers?

Have you tried to add more rebound damping before you swapped to stiffer springs?
Max
Be nice to see this Car on the Og Battles
