- Here is a side by side of the sport, and evolution of the fauve barenia single tour. Also a discovery that shocked me with the series 6 v series 5.

Tip for which side goes up: The side that goes on the top of the watch will have the size of the watch written (ex: 45mm) and the bottom side may have the size of the band (S/M/L)

Nice video and love the attelage design! I wonder if the strap length on buckle side is shorter compared to regular (non-attelage)? Mine is 44mm and using the first hole so I'm hoping it is shorter to offset the extended gap otherwise would be too loose for me. Appreciate your knowledge.

Compare it to now though
I've recently got the Attelage strap and compare it to the non-Attelage one, and can confirm the Attelage strap is shorter on the buckle side than non-Attelage. This makes sense to offset the extended hinge. Great meticulous details by Hermes!

You mention about cleaning the old leather strap and removing the patina. Is this possible to do? What would you recommend to use to do this?
I use the same leather cleaner for all my leather products that I use in my Mercedes G63. Chemical guys has a nice cleaner and conditioner. No residue and it’s very gentle.

Does the Fauve Barenia leather strap get scratches? I just opened mine and it came with small scratches...
Just rub it with you hand. The oils will smooth out those marks

Judging by the Apple/Hermès renders online I thought the Attelage straps look ridiculous, but seeing more and more of those on people‘s wrists I think they look awesome and really take the watches to the next level of elegance and design👌🏻

Thinking about getting one, however the website says the straps fit 160mm-195mm wrists. My wrist is 145mm, and I tried it with a M/L sport band and it’s too big. Any thoughts?
My guess is size down to the 42mm?
Can’t you just get an extra hole punched in the strap or would that ruin it?
Are there any new Hermes 6 faces that aren’t on the Hermes 5? I’m contemplating upgrading also.
Vishnu Singh as far as I know all hermes faces are available on all hermes. There is a new hidden face that I’ll do a video on. It’s worth the upgrade for battery life alone

It is. Night and day difference. Not in aesthetics but in functionality
Uli_eats wow I’m so excited - I got the sport aluminum series 2 when it came out in 2016 I believe and I just got my stainless steel Milanese series 6 in the mail and am going to open it on my birthday on Sunday.

After 1 year of use, does the silver case scratches too much? I own a series 4 in stainless black and not even 1 scratch… I would like to upgrade the Hermes series 7, but I’m hesitant because of that….
You can always polish the stainless !
Does the stainless steal casing show scratches easily? I am undecided between that model and the space black model
Both could scratch but it’s a watch, the glass is more likely to scratch than the body as it is more exposed. That being said, you can polish stainless with metal polish back to 100%, space black will lose the coating if it scratches
Space black is the best Hermès. Black and orange is Hermès. It's DLC not just ordinary coating. The watch OLED display looks infinite display with space black. But Stainless Steel Silver looks stunning even from afar as it shines. Won't be mistaken from cheap aluminum with glass that easily breaks.

Did you get the apple 3 year insurance as well? Or what are your thoughts about that?
I do not. I get a new watch every year. I get the insurance on my phone to pay for any damages that might happen but not the watch.

Deactivate wifi from settings, I added LTE and turned it off and I get like 60-70% up from 50 something. I have the Noir 44
