Once again I'm still experimenting with commentary style guide. This actually took up so much damn time to piece up together, from having multiple bad recordings to making a bunch of mini-scripts and still having not satisfying results, lots of redos and lots of last-minute additions - hence why I uploaded this rather late when a lot of countries most likely already can't play the stage anymore lol. This one's more of a sticking-to-a-script kind of commentary than my freestyle talk one that I did on my previous couple vids, so less awkward pauses and ''uhh''s and whatnot - but perhaps a little less natural. What do you think of this style compared to the other one, or do you not notice any difference until I pointed it out? Let me know! Also 2 notes: 1. Reminder that 1 cycle is technically EASIER TO DO. 2 cycle's advantage is simply not requiring powerful rusher units, however due to having to do the a.baha timing twice in a row, it's harder to actually pull off. It simply has more loose unit requirement, thats all. Always attempt 1 cycle first! 2. If you missed the event, you can always attempt it with the Catamin stage as long as you've at least opened the stage once even without giving an actual attempt on it!

i remember being stuck on this stage because i used to play too defensively. Then one time i said fuck it and tried to rush the stage out of frustration and somehow won lmao.
FINALLY, got catway lets go! Took a few tries for the timing but did it in one cycle barely. My line up for it was; Combo's are Cheating Heart?, Art history, and thanks for all. Any research up combo would work but my cats are low-level so needed more dps accumulating, account power up for extra money again low level. Main units are ramen(38),manic legs(20), courier(35, can be replaced with a rusher),manic lion(20), immortal yukimura(30 nothing added, can be replaced by literally any rusher like Fishman or something), A bahamat(30). Thank you for the guide! Would not have been able to do this without this video!

I beat this on my first try somehow, my loadout was manic cat(lvl20), crazed wall(lvl20), ramen cat(lvl35), ninja cat and hayabusa for speedup combo, manic macho(lvl20), fishman cat(lvl32), crazed giraffe(lvl15), balrog(lvl40) and last of course A. Bahamut(lvl30). Here's how it went, my a.bahamut died immediately and did not get a hit on the clionel. My balrog killed the sleipnir, then balrog died to the second sleipnir, my third balrog killed the clionel. First attempt thank you so muchhh
Well yeah I mean Dark Merchant Babel and Mighty Rekon Corps might not be the best ubers in this stage. But what my strategy was is lure Sleiphneir and kill him with does uber so that I can save Bahamut to rush Clionel because killing Sleiphneir with bahamut is like trying to find needle in a hay stack. Bahamut always gets kill by Sleiphneir.
I read about this strategy on wiki. Maglev makes this strategy a lot easier. I somehow managed to beat Hannia the day before, so I had the train. One cycle is exactly the same as two cycles, but with lower level units, so it is the same strategy.
Thanks for the guide, I used the normal strategy but turned the cats into true forms and replaced medalist cat with courier cat. It can get tricky to get awakened bahamut in but when I did I actually managed to do it in one cycle (although I did have talents on ramen, pizza and seafarer).
Just another method I can’t remember who I think it might’ve been dr skull xskull (sorry if I butchered the channel name) he (I think) came up with a method using Zamboney Baha crazed cow/mr and breakerblast cannon Basic summary is use mr or Ccow with zamboney to stall at the base. when cllionel comes out send baha and when baha reaches base use breakerblast cannon to clip him into the base
First time i tried this level, I did the 1 abaha strat, took 3 tries to perfect it. Now its a month later i kinda forgot how to do it. this time, the difference is that i have a level 50 bullet train instead of level 40 maglev and i have a more boosted can can. Still, somehow awakened bahamut died because it looked like a dead run, getting hit by the first gory and not being able to take out the slepnir in time and dying to clionel. Thought i was done for the level because my abaha died but I spammed my level 50 ramen (max health up talent), dual island (55 for normal, 40 for manic), can can (level 46 with max speed up talent), jizo (level 40), manic lion (level 30), bullet train (level 50) and somehow still took down clionel before the second slepnir. I guess this is thanks to overlevelled can can and bullet train as well as bullet train and manic lion being able to get 1 damage knockback in the initial rush phase at the enemy base. Edit: went with ramen and quizmaster resistant (Sm) combo and moby dick defence combo
I got really lucky with Ubers for this stage. Juvens and Jizo completely carried me. I ought to challenge myself and try it without them! Please make a similar video for River Styx and River Acheron - I somehow managed to get past River Styx, but River Acheron is killing me even though I'm Uber-carrying to no end.
If you use zamboney at the start and send maglevs the trolley vloggers will stack and continueously knockback the maglevs which will take out almost a third of clionels health
The first lucky game i got was getting bahamut to kill clionel in 1 go (no cycle needed) thats because I got stupidly lucky when sleipnir knocked my bahamut back making bahamut deal like 3 full first hits in under 2 sec, I won but I didnt get catway.. So I used my treasure radars, wasted like 6 of them due to bad luck and the last game I also ended up killing clionel in 1 go. Also tbh can can cat probably helped a ton in the rush My loadout was Necromancer cat (Research Combo Slave #1), Skelecat (Research Combo Slave #2), lvl 30 Hyper Mr. (Rusher and Research Combo Slave), lvl 40+3 Ramen Cat (Tank), lvl 40+5 Can Can Cat with lvl 5 Speed Talent (Rusher and Damage Dealer), lvl 20 Manic Macho Legs (Peon Clearing), lvl 30+2 Seafarer Cat (Damage Dealer and Rusher(?)), lvl 30 Pizza Cat (Damage Dealer), lvl 30 Awakened Bahamut Cat (Rusher and Damage Dealer), lvl 28 Dark Merchant Babil (Damage Dealer and Sort of a Tank) Dark Merchant Babil isnt really necessary and you can replace it with something that can deal with the Angeli Gorys but it is somewhat useful if you have it and it is decently high leveled, I think it can tank like 1-2 hits from clionel before dying which is very tanky.
I don’t know what is it with my incompetent brain or my trash RNG but even if with following strategies and having the units at a better form and level, I still can’t beat this stage

2 cycle was how the OGs did it iirc, but they ended up developing 1 cycle which was considered easier with the right unit requirements. 1 cycle is generally the more known / recommended one afaik 2 cycle is not like unknown or something, some guides uses 2 cycle but I want to cover the strat my own way since I never made a vid for 2 cycle anyways
You can also put gamereon in the lineup My bahamut timing was absolute trash but the angels weren't going anywhere so i had time to spawn the second bahamut

if you have cats in the cradle then use it for this stage it will carry really hard
I just realized if you beat the stage but don’t get the cat you can just use cat cpu to do it again, saves some time.
