best thing to remove old gaskets - a piece of flattened copper pipe, softer than the metal used for casings etc but strong enough to scrape it all off properly, costs pennies

There's an apparent issue with the stator wire bundle chafing on the flywheel (check KTM Talk for a huge thread on it). Did you notice any chafing on the stock stator wire bundle?

You are not using grease on the bendix and on the rotor?

How do you adjust the timing? The manual incorrectly displays this part as it shows the stator mounted to the motor, NOT the cover

Im currently replacing the stator cover on my 2020 XCFW. I did not disconnect the battery. Did I ruin anything? Is it too late to rectify? Job is half done. I just need to reassemble.

Why is this necessary on the tx300? I thought it has a stock lighting coil?

It will vary from 40, 70, or 100 watts depending on what model.
