Thanks for the review. I’m actually deciding between Smith Maze/Method or the Oakley Mod1 Pros. Was leaning towards the Mod1s for the Boa fitting, but the vent noise is something I’d never thought of. Also did you find the Mod1 Pros heavy in comparison?
The wind noise is no louder than the sound of the snow underfoot, so it’s not a big deal. I ride with earbuds anyway! I can’t feel the weight difference.

Maybe you heard better on different color bird day when wearing the Oakley helmet.. what does blue bird day mean?
A bluebird day is a warm sunny day, think late season 50+ degree weather.
