If your enjoying Leigh Bardugo’s style of writing, I would highly recommend the Six of Crows duology or the Shadow and Bone trilogy. They are both some of my favourite series and books I’ve ever read
i love this video idea!! it would take me absolute ages lmao i am in the middle of so many series... i had a very similar experience with hell bent!! i didnt looove ninth house on my first read in 2019, but when i reread it and then read hell bent i ADORED it! loved the found family and character dynamics so much
Best wishes with what you choose to read. I hope you get some great stories. I'm currently reading the Count of Monte Cristo. I'm going to be some time!
if you’re into political intrigue, i HIGHLY recommend Jade City (green bone saga trilogy) 💚 it’s my favorite fantasy series! has great character development, urban fantasy setting, the plot twists are well set-up and the payoff is amazing!!!
I would absolutely recommend Carrisa Broadbent's other series. Daughter of No World's is probably my favorite fantasy book of all time. I didn't love the second book but that one is 10/10.
@@loverofpagesI did end up deciding to give it another go, actually! I don’t think the series is for me but I’m still glad I decided to finish the first one… which probably doesn’t make much sense, but it is what it is 😅 🤷🏼♀️
it is not a judgmental comment but I'm wondering why booktubers keep making content about Rebecca Yarros' books and giving them credit. You must know the problem surrounding her (and many other authors) as an author but mostly as a person I keep wondering why again, no hate just questioning the content that I see on TH-cam, Instagram, TikTok...
An extremely valid and important comment, thank you. This is the last I’ll be talking about Rebecca Yarros, not only did I not like Iron Flame but amid all of the stuff coming to light about her, I won’t be talking about her books again ~ I started filming this video a long while ago so kept that segment in, but I definitely want to clarify that I don’t stand by ANY of her views! (I absolutely also should’ve clarified this in the video)
