miserable as it was to watch them drop 8 straight, all weekend I was thinking if vegas put odds on this tournament it'd have to be dead even 33% for SSG Optic and Faze and half a percent each for quadrant and sentinels. Any one of the matchups between those 3 teams could've gone either way, all season there's been nothing separating them except for who's feeling hungriest on Sunday. The majors have been great all year, I think just a few moves by some of the B teams and that gap can close up a little bit. Native Red is close, Sentinels are close, Quadrant is close, There are some guys like Karmea, Kuhllect, and Suppresed that might tip the scales on the right team and really threaten the big 3 in bracket play.

Really like the new starting weapon for season 5 personal take never been a BR fan I've always liked dmr style semi auto weapons I find it to be more consistent and easier for me to get headshots
Trippy's "superbounce" in Recharge KOTH I'm pretty sure is just an added explosion bounce/thrust from the nade thrown at 5:08 in the slomo replay. So not a superbounce. Still epic though because it probably helped him avoid a few shots
if it was single elim instead of double that might have been the best tournament ever. Both winners semis were crazy. SSG gets the most difficult 3-0 of their lives with Fal breaking the single game kills record on LAN, and Faze/Optic going to game 5 after the game 2 slayer we had to watch in .25 speed to even figure out. Then winners final goes to game 5 and its Optic's best game type on their worst map, they got steaked by SSG in FW grand finals, and they come out and run away with it. I know history was made with Faze winning from elim bracket but the 8 straight was just miserable to watch. Optic and SSG going all the way to reset game 7 in Fort Worth was so exciting and to me that one is the best tournament of the year. We did see 3 absolutely brain-melting slayer finishes here though, never seen anything like that in my life.

I actually had a 2v4 Ranked match with Lucid as a teammate.... we were up against two high Plats, a high Diamond, and a mid Gold BRO.... they should make a horror movie about what he did to that team he absolutely slaughtered them like a killer who just discovered a group of teenage campers 🤣. Me I held my own despite being low gold and WE WON THE MATCH

Because formal and lucid needed help from trippy and Apg if they weren’t going super ballistic instead Apg struggled and trippy went 32-65 in the 2nd bo7. Awful performances. That’s what happens when formal and lucid don’t go god mode and the other can’t step up to alleviate the pressureZ
The championship restored my passion and season 5 changed the game. Literally, without BRs its not the game I just got pumped up to play.... makes zero sense.

I'm 37. Die hard halo 1,2 and 3 fan. But this game just doesn't run smoothly. Feels like I'm playing 25 fps on 100 ping. Halo 3 was soooo smooth and still is. I just can't play infinite. Something is fundamentally wrong at its core.
