9:44 Great intense game! I was an IV4, that made this clutch happen =) Your final push was glorious! Thank you for your vids, mate - I've grown on them as a player from T3 to T1.
I sent you a similar build last year... try switching out 3 of the Uac2s for 3 Rotary ac2s for more sustained fire (and never a 6x jam). Do 1000+ damage on most games.
the more constant fire of this build making it hard to spread damage over your armour is why I'm very happy with my king crab build of 2 rot ac5s 2 er mediums and an mrm 40, burst and sustain to focus things down or deal damage than spread return fire, very flexible.
Hell, if you're gonna go that hot, at least build for sustainable DPS. 4x AC-2s, 2x RAC-5s, LE 300, 15 DHS. You get 33 Direct DPS that won't instantly jam, and if the RACs do jam, the AC-2s won't. As a side note: The Annie-2A can also run thus build, though with less DPS (KGC's 5% cooldown quirk for the AC-2s), less armor, and worse heat efficiency (KGC has 0 arm actuators, which allows you to load an additional ton of ammo and a Heatsink, and 1 DHS trumps the Heat efficiency boon of the Annie's -10% heat quirk). So for stare-down monsters, the 2x RAC-5; 4x AC-2 KGC can't be beat (Except by an Annie-1A Running 2x RAC-5s; 2x UAC-10s; wanna talk about toasty...)
Eh, at that point you'd be better off running a different KC that the variant with the 6 mounts because the others with fewer mounts (meant for heavier guns) will have better secondary hardpoints for other weapons and more relevant quirks for the heavy guns.
It seems to me, if you're going to go for a staredown, no-high-mount mech like that, that RACs and LBX's are the way to go. One to grind the armor, the other to crit the tasty meat inside. People tend to go for the CT on RAC builds because they can't twist, which an arm-mounted mech actually wants people to do.
Nice video as usual. Although, you spawned on the "good" side in the 2nd match. The enemy lance at the start of the round were the ones that spawned on the "bad" side out in the open.
Suggested Topic: It would be extremely interesting to see an analysis of the benefits/pitfalls of chain-firing vs grouping UAC weapons like these. For instance; How does chain fire affect double-tap in UAC-2 and UAC-5 when you have multiples. Does it make sense to group in pairs/triples? How does the double-tap delay eclipse the chain-fire advance delay, if at all? Cheers!
Stats: 1st game: Your Team consisted of 3 Assaults, 5 Heavies, 2 Mediums and 2 Lights The Enemy consisted of 4 Assaults, 3 Heavies, 5 Mediums and 0 Lights The Enemy out-tonned Your Team by 55 Tons (The enemy team wins) 2nd game: Your Team consisted of 5 Assaults, 3 Heavies, 3 Mediums and 1 Lights The Enemy consisted of 2 Assaults, 5 Heavies, 2 Mediums and 3 Lights Your Team out-tonned the Enemy by 140 Tons (The enemy team wins)
Very exciting game one. Game two very messy but you did your job in both matches. Not much else to say on this one really :D Thank you for the videos ;D
@@mastergreyskull523 I have 4xuac5 a story 300 engine ams 1 ton ammo and 10 tons of uac5 ammo endo double heatsink and max armor. Dump the ml and missiles and you will have plenty of space Nd a better build.
Using 6 ac2 on chanfire and spamming the mouse button one while aiming for the cockpit of the enemy mech may not be as efficient in terms of damage, but the sustained barrage of ac projectiles exploding next to the ferroglass would make the pilot almost unable to see anything in front of him. 4 ac2 on a Jaggermech would do fine as well and you don't really require a trained finger / special button for that.
I've been running this build for a long time now. Fired in groups of three you can run until a jam, blast the away with the other three and never stop slaying.
On my crab I just slapped 2 UAC20. Dakkas are fun, but has the bad habit of melting fast since you can't spread very well, having to constantly face the shooter.
Am I missing something here? I can only get the KGC-000 Up to 104 Structure Right and Left Torso. You have Streamer/Partner cheats? Hahaha Looks like a very fun build for sure!
I really, really want to see a KGC-000 build with three machineguns or HMGs in each arm some time. Probably a couple ERPPCs and an MRM 40 in the torsos as main weapons or something. I just see "3 ballistic slots in each arm" and go "I want those filled with machine guns."
They do, but there isn't a point because the 2 class ACs already have more than enough velocity to point and click like a laser from normal combat ranges.
i know this is a rather old video but..has anyone ever pitched the idea of a 6x RAC2 KGC-000? i saw it in a game last night and i built one myself but it seems interesting. the whole premise is based off of alternating arms as the racs jam so you can keep up a constant stream of bullets, its not too hot either
6 months late to the party but are XL engines good for KC? If they’re gonna core you either way why not pack as much firepower in as possible? Never ran this mech so tell me how I’m wrong lol
How about you swap out 2 of the Ultras for regular AC2's? 320LFE, ES, LFF, 4UAC2, 2AC2, 3.5 TONS AC2 AMMO, 7.5 TONS UAC2 AMMO, 2 DHS IN ENGINE. You won't run nearly as hot and you will have 2 guns that never jam.
6x LB2-X are also really fun in such a build. has potential for a headshot machine. natürlich entsprechende aim skills vorausgesetzt. nichts für joystick Spieler. 😋
the heat on this is terrible! I seem to be in the fight longer and do more with the Rifleman with 5uac2s. It could be 6, but I wanted a faster engine, jump jets and ams
"Guys, guys, there's no more space in the claws. Any ideas?"
*rips line*
"Just put them beside the claws."
Lmfao like for real, who thought that was a good idea??? XD

You can fit so many jams in this thing!
What I really like to do in that KC is really funny; 2 AC2, 2 LB2, and 2 RAC2. Ultimate Brrrrrrt.
Sounds Inefficient but kinda fun. I'mma try that. xD
Thanks for the build 👍🏻 sooo much dakka!
that kit fox face made me giggle
Kitfoxes usually have the best decals.
I'm fucking dying XD that goofy is perfect
Some days the matchmaker looks you straight in the eye and says, “Carry Harder!” This was one of those days!
Legit any matchmaking game XD

I run normal AC2s in mine, trading the mass for a larger light engine. It can fire almost endlessly without heat issues.

Daily Dose - instant upvote. King Crab + dakka = superlike!
The Kaiju has been my go-to crab for a long while, great hard points for missle and ballistic weapons.
This crab however, looks real fun!
Yes, please play the heavy PPC Blackjack! :D

I love the King Crab, but the issue with running longer range A/Cs on it is the low-slung (and wide) arms. I prefer to run higher caliber A/Cs on it.
I like twin rac5s on mine.
Thats why i prefer to use the Jagermech-DD for the 6x UAC/2s (i meant 2's not 5's. lol)
I run with 4 x UAC/5s on my King Crab. I'll need to try the Jagermech with 6 UAC/2s though.
Eh, at that point you'd be better off running a different KC that the variant with the 6 mounts because the others with fewer mounts (meant for heavier guns) will have better secondary hardpoints for other weapons and more relevant quirks for the heavy guns.
I put a classic 4 AC2s i am deciding what lasers and masked to put on it.

Great job Baradul! Very nice aim! I love the king crab in mw5. AC20 monster!

Hi Baradul! Consider an XL 315, X4rac2, X2AC5. You get lots of stare-down DPS with manageable heat (just stop firing one arm when it gets too toasty).
I was so hoping that you brought an arty strike, especially in that first game.. maybe leave the uav to faster mechs.
King crabs are so much fun.
Thanks Baradul needed something to cheer me up today
Right on time, I was looking for what mech to buy.
Very exciting game one.
Game two very messy but you did your job in both matches.
Not much else to say on this one really :D
Thank you for the videos ;D
4 Ultra AC5 is all you need, AMS, max armor some double heat sinks and ammo
Cant fit them... running on 2 UAC5 2med lasers 2 MRMs
@@mastergreyskull523 I have 4xuac5 a story 300 engine ams 1 ton ammo and 10 tons of uac5 ammo endo double heatsink and max armor. Dump the ml and missiles and you will have plenty of space Nd a better build.
That's how I run mine. I leave one medium laser on it for the odd occasion when I run out of ammo
Fun fact you can also equip this loadout on a jagermech if you strip all the armor
Great Video! Kit Fox = LOL! Thank You!
I run a similar one with just ac2s and and a couple of high mountain lasers
I miss these videos.
That first game is how Battletech is played!!!

New Nickname for Mr. Pinchy
Nickname: the mech popper
I love the king crab but this looks way too hot. For my 100 ton dakka I'm gonna stick with the 6 ac2 4 ml Anni2a. Zero heat issues on that one
damage is bad i rather use 2 large laser, mrm 50 or 60 and 6 machine guns max damage 1378

Kitfox with goofy face=running gag. 😁
I do love a King Crab.
Finally a king crab build. You should try 3 rac2 and 3 ac2. Lethal.
Why are ACs so hot in MWO? Twelve singe heatsinks should be enough to completely neutralise the heat of six UAC/2s.
6 srm6-a and 4 erml on that mad dog. High alpha but I just couldn't sacrifice that much armor, heatsinks and ammo for it.
Baradul why do you always shoot left and right side without thinking about where they are actually hitting?
Drop the ultra off those ac-2s! Too hot 🥵great video as always 😁

velocity skill nodes don't affect ultra 2s?
They do, but there isn't a point because the 2 class ACs already have more than enough velocity to point and click like a laser from normal combat ranges.
@@83athom Maybe, but when trying to shoot at moving targets they did not seem so great, that 15% (?) from nodes would help
I really coulda sworn king crabs had LAAs. They sure LOOK like they do.

did the king crab get nerfed? I cant seem to put in the same parts
hows the import build tool work for stuff like this?
King dakka
Why do the lasers all sound different in your game? I've been wondering this for a while.
Sound mods. There are quite a few around, and this one is only available from someone's Twtich channel IIRC.
6 months late to the party but are XL engines good for KC? If they’re gonna core you either way why not pack as much firepower in as possible? Never ran this mech so tell me how I’m wrong lol
ull literally core the moment one side torso explodes, considering the large hitbox, probably risky
Hey any chance of a series of taking 3-5 of the worst mechs in this game and trying to make em work?
time for crab

6x uac/2 doesn't seem to have the stopping power 4x uac/5s have.
6x LB2-X are also really fun in such a build. has potential for a headshot machine.
natürlich entsprechende aim skills vorausgesetzt. nichts für joystick Spieler. 😋
No more mini-AC spam, promotion.
What the hell is with the heat generation of those autocannons? They’re AC/2’s. They shouldn’t generate anywhere near that much heat.
the heat on this is terrible! I seem to be in the fight longer and do more with the Rifleman with 5uac2s. It could be 6, but I wanted a faster engine, jump jets and ams
