Most vegans don’t understand how humane it is to give a grass fed cow a quick ending… in nature that beast would be eaten alive by wolves in a gruesome way.
We give many animals good lives before we eat them and their nutrients they provide allow us to thrive in the healthiest and most natural way possible…
Obviously factory farming is an issue that should be resolved and I’m on board with that. But eating meat in general is not cruel or immoral in any way.

@@thehuntermikipl1170 Theres a giant problem with vegan activists that they dont want to aknowladge. Namely, if everyone on the planet earth would be vegan, you would require so much farmland that deforestation would be 10 times as bad as it is now.
They also dont like to talk about ''vegan farming'' that is so horribly NOT eco friendly that its even hard to describe, you need to see it.
One example could be Palm oil plantations!
Look it up yourself if you want to know more!
Reality of the matter is that, meat happens to be many times more nutricious for us than plants... that means you dont have to eat so much. Our digestive systems are largely evolved around meat. Technically speaking we are classified as omnivores but, we do far better at digesting meat. If one is to compare herbivore digestive system to ours, one would notice extremely drastic differences!

I've tasted a lot of vegan/vegetarian alternatives to meat and they are always worse imo. My sister is vegan so I've gone to vegan restaurants and had their food and it's always worse. High quality vegan restaurants can't even compare to basic fast food places like McDonalds let alone high quality ones.

@@swedensy The argument isn't blame or not. He says the reason he eats meat is due to the intrinsic quality of it tasting good. He likes steak because it tastes good, not because of the fact that the cow was killed. Eating meat and not eating meat is a decision, but attacking someone for choosing is what he thinks is wrong. She is assuming the fact that he consumes meat that he enjoys killing animals. You can advocate for the ability to eat and not eat meat, but saying that you are committing right's violations against animals and taking away their right to live is not right. A bear would kill you on sight for food, or to protect its young, but if we kill a bear for food it's suddenly it's wrongdoing. Black bears eat berries and honey, they don't need to consume meat, but they still do. We are genetically coded to be omnivores, eating both meat and vegetables. We may not need to eat meat, but sometimes that's just how the world is.

In both of these situations, you can tell at the slightest glance that the difference far outweighs any superficial similarities between the two, and therefore, even if you cannot properly articulate a defense of eating meat, you still get, if nothing else, that gut feeling that tells you they're wrong.

It's awful, but one person not eating those products just means someone else is eating more or more food is getting thrown away. They think they're helping but they're just torturing themselves because humans are meant to eat meat and animal products as a part of our diet. Inhumane treatment of animals needs to stop but this isn't the way to go about it. It's like trying to stop climate change by throwing your empty soda cans in the blue box instead of the green one.

There is no congruity between the idea that not wanting animals abused is a purely vegan idea, or mostly vegan idea, or partially vegan idea, or anything of the sort.
The most die-hard meat eater also agrees that it's wrong to abuse animals; elk hunters always try to end the hunt humanely by shooting specific areas like the heart/lungs.
What constitutes abuse on both sides may be different ("abuse" is a powerful political tool that is often-abused by protestors of the sort), but there are certainly agreements on both sides, generally, in this regard.
In other words: it is not a good vegan argument, because it is not a vegan argument at all.
Edit: even asmongold, who routinely says "I don't care if people eat dogs" and eats steak on camera, hates that people breed pugs because of their genetic defects that cause them to suffer.

And even in medieval times people ate way less animal products, because it does not make sense economically to feed cows instead of eating the grain yourself.

Read any of the modern literature on hominid diets and you'll find that plants have always played a crucial role in keeping our species alive. Nonetheless most of our ancestors would have taken animal based food when they could get it. But whose to say the aesthetic of flesh eating hasn't been offputting to some of our ancestors much in the same way as it is to some of us today.

I'm sure the commenting people here are purposely trying to miss the fact that the point is not the death of the animals itself. The girl was trying to advocate for veganism but did it terribly. I am not a vegan, nor a vegetarian but I am completely aware of how the meat industry works. Thousands of pigs, cows born into lockdown, into tiny places where they do not have the place to take 5 steps. They live in blood and piss and shit until they are killed. Ohh, and don't think they are killed fast. Sometimes they are mortally wounded but not dead yet but nobody cares about their suffering for there are 200 other animals to kill that day. Of course, in the wilderness if a lion attacks a zebra, the zebra will suffer and not die right away. But up until that point, the zebra was living a natural life. Not like the animals we eat. I've seen a video where cows live on a farm and when one of them gets killed, it gets shot right in the head and immediately dies. That is nice. Their living circumstances are acceptable, so are their deaths. That might be even better for them than living in a natural habitat.
Well, I am not trying to convince you to quit eating meat. All I'm saying is to think about tens of thousands of living beings' suffering. Humanity is only sustainable this way. But think about it. Don't make fun of it.

I dislike the moralizing. It is not more moral to be vegan. Do they think vegetable farmers simply ask the wildlife to nicely stay away from their crops? No, they kill them. Poison them. Shoot them. So on and so forth. Not to mention the exploitative nature of farming in most of the world to actual human beings. You know, the other "red-meat". There is a book called The Vegetarian Myth written by a radical feminist and former vegan that discusses this. She makes a convincing argument that being vegan is actually more harmful overall to animals than being an omnivore and puts forth a reasonable model for how we need to transform our entire food chain in order to be better to the environment AND animals. It involves eating some meat, yes. Vegans don't like her and don't like that. She was even assaulted by a vegan at a book event.

According to them, it was delicious and tasted well spiced. When they asked what spices were used, they were told "No spices! Just dog! All dog taste like that!"
They apparently spit it out and refused to eat any more after knowing what it was, because they're a dog lover.

Squirrels, deer, rabbits and other mostly herbivore creatures have been recorded many times eating other animals if they have the opportunity to, and what researchers say is likely due to a nutrient deficiency or lack of good plant availability. The only mammals on the planet that are 100% vegan are privileged humans who choose to be for morality or dietary reasons.

Let's say that everyone suddenly jumped to vegan.
Well, now we have a problem: since the food is less energy-dense, we need more of it, and what? How do we make more food? We make more by converting more land to agricultural plots. Land that was the home of animals. But hey, we don't eat them. They die because of lack of food and habitation.
There is the possibility of lab-grown food, except it's not yeta viable option. Scientists can't make these tissues without pumping them full of antibiotics that is hard if not impossible to wash out. And I would not trust a food made by the same people who make the vaccines.
Also most vegans are confused and want a replacement that tastes the same as non-vegan but that their fragile consciousness can handle it. Like come on... vegan cheese, vegan burger... if you want to have an impact, embrace the difference, and try not to find replacement. Tofu, Jackfruit, mushrooms are nice - these don't try to be a replacement.
