I brought one if these caps last year and I use it at least twice a month since I started my Loc journey 15 months ago. My hair is so soft, moisturized and healthy. I swear by this Electric deep conditioning Cap!
there's a cap inside the cap. you need to unzip the main cap, take the other cap out then zip it up. Put your regular steam/ shower cap on and then put on the electric steam cap
@@tyrathethird thanks for responding. I just started my loc journey so I'm trying not to buy stuff just to buy it and may not use it. With the steamer how come distilled water is recommended
what do you think about the Hothead, cap. the one you microwave and then place the cap over your hair? is it all the same thing?. thanks for you video :D
Hi Stephanie, thanks for subbing!! 💖 I like them both for different reasons! They both hydrate very well. The steam cap is very convenient because it literally does all of the work for you and is so relaxing. I do however feel like the handheld steamer saturates your hair more. If you can, get both!
They have a larger one. I bought this last year. I actually am attempting to steam my hair right now. 6months into my loc journal neck length and first steaming treatment being loc’d. My hair feeels awesome!!💜🙌🏾💜
You can cover your damp hair with a plastic cap then put the steam cap over it. The heat from the cap will create the steam. I have a similar product and it comes with plastic caps to help create the steam. Edit: I read the comments first. She does use a plastic cap. It’s a steam cap. It’s not misleading IMO.

Girl you are comical, I just love your videos! Thanks for sharing.
😊 thank you! I try! lol
This seems like more of a heat cap vs a steam cap? How is it steaming? Thanks

Nice video! Unfortunately that size won't work for those with long locs as it doesn't seem to be big enough. Nice concept.
I agree they should make bigger sizes!
I like you! You’re a cool, down to earth Sis! Your locs are beautiful!! Started mine with on Jan 8, 2023!
I totally forgot that I had a steam cap in my room. I thought about it when I saw your video thumbnail. Wow!

Do you like this better than the hand held steamer?
Great question. If I’m being honest? No. I prefer the handheld steamer better but I love having the cap as an option too.

Where is the water coming from

I always love your videos sis!
Hi 👋🏾. I’m a new follower and love your videos. Which do you like better? This or the handheld steamer? Which do you feel provided the best hydration?

You just answered my question. Thanks...I will be purchasing one of these steamers 🥰❤
Awesome! Glad I could help!
I’m going to look into this. But also leave your hair uncovered while you are showering so the steam/moisture is going into your hair
Yes I agree! 💯
Nice job ❤
What's the benefits of brushing locs?
There are quite a few benefits! Helps reduce lint and buildup, softens your locs, scalp stimulation which helps with hair growth....the list goes on!
what is the brush you use, i got lint and stuff in my locs cause i dont have a brush 😩 😂
It's really just a random soft brush I got from walgreens lol
I need one of these thanks for sharing!!💜
You are so welcome!
My locs are waist length. I doubt if they'll all fit in. I'd really like to get one

@@adriennel3480 oh fantastic! Thank you. Will look it up
Brush your locs why if you don’t mind me asking?
I'm not the one or the two!! fab locs
Or the three!!! lol thank you!
This isn't a steam cap and is very misleading because it's just a heat cap.
Reach out to the company if you have product concerns.
Exactly. Paid add too lol

Lol
Please don’t brush your locs
There's nothing wrong with brushing locs. Please do research before spreading misinformation.
