    Lemon fluff shampoo cleans everything out of your scalp and hair and I have eczema and it doesn't irritate or cause dandruff flair ups. Afterwards, my hair soaks up whatever treatments and conditioners I use very well.

      I have thigh length locks of over 11 years, I do this twice a year depending on the spring/summer, if you use 2 parts vinegar 1 part water, its easier on the hair, ive also learned working the baking soda in instead of dumping it all over. It goes a lot farther than you think. I'd also use a cup to rinse with while the ends soak, I do a rinse before and add oils to my scalp to make it easier on the scalp as well. This is just what works for me after trial and error over the years, I hope it helps ❤❤

    if you can, please let the stylist know, that they can use the lemon squeezer / juicer to get the maximum amount of juice lemons can offer. it's usually a metal yellow device with 2 handles. costs no more than 4 dollars but so worth it. your hair came out nice btw. 😊

    I’ve had locs for 1yr and 5months I worked in demolition a few months back and had so much dust in my hair from knocking down walls (I had to quit lol) but I would love to detox my hair I have some build up. My hair feels so itchy and dirty from excessive sweating being 7months pregnant. I have nobody to help me detox my hair and going to a loctician is out of my budget right now. So wish me luck I will try to detox my own hair only doing it backwards with hair goin forward standing up. Wish me luck ladies. Love your video

      I do it myself too! It’s not too hard. You just need to do it a bit different! I do it like this: fill a bath with water and baking powder in it. Soak your head in it first. So your hair is filled with the mixture already. Then you start with the front. You sit on your knees flip hair forward and dip it in the water. Then you take a sip or bottle with apple cider and you poor it over your temple area and front part and immediately dip you hair in the water. It will bubble, so keep your eyes closed. You can do this a couple time with the Apple cider until your water will not bubble anymore. This means your powdered water is not ‘working’ anymore. I then make a new bath and lay on my back, put all dreads in water+ powder. And take a cup of apple cider and poor it in the bath. So I can get all the bubbles at the nape/ back in the bubbles. Then you can repeat this until you see the build up is gone. Might take a little practicing to see what works for you, but it can be done!

      My hair feels pretty good. 😉
      The ACV made my strands strong.
      *****Edit. I just tried lemon juice. It's where it's at. It removed all my dandruff and my scalp feels back to normal. I did not have these results with ACV. I also made lemon soap. It removes all sweat and grime on my body. It's also great for cleaning, and getting stuck on food off of pans.

    Very nice video. Also, the prescription shampoo for seborrheic dermatitis, if you’re using what’s called Ketoconazole, BE CAREFUL with getting it on the length of your hair and instead work the prescription shampoo ONLY onto the scalp - it is very harsh and can cause breakage/damage, strip dye if you use it, and if you use any other products it is strong enough to be a total reset apparently. The first one is what concerned me the most so getting it only on the scalp is essential. It’s a struggle, hope this helps.

      LOVE the idea of a paste!

    • @YourEveryPicture7
      @YourEveryPicture7 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You don't need any kind of "sonic device" - that's a (somewhat violent) chemical reaction that occurs - the baking soda is highly alkaline - when the ACV - which is v acidic - mixes with it - boom, the chemical reaction happens - & it fizzes - bc of the oxygen produced - no sonic device will make it work harder, it's a finite reaction but it's a v productive one.🙏💜

    My re-twist product literally leaves no build up. I wash every two weeks and re-twist when I can (no long than a month without a re-twist). I've had locks since around august 2018. They were regular coils but, taking them down and washing frequently was energy draining. I started my own dreads and have never let anyone in my head, so they don't always look as neat as a stylist would have them. When I watch these Loc Detox vids, the buildup is clearly visible, but mine isn't like that. I'm still getting one tho because I'm curious to see how much gunk is inside of them.

    Was this prep for removing her locs? If not is the a good prep if you want to remove your locs? I had long locs like her which I removed and it took months to remove them one by one but I was trying to minimize my hair loss and prevent cutting all my hair off. But in the end I wish I'd just save time and cut but if this prep would have loosened them up for easier unlocking it would been heaven sent at the time... too late for my loc removal but may help someone else considering taking their out who want to minimize hair loss...

    So because uses the baking soda with the ACV, she didn't have to neutralize your hair... to balance the PH? Im wondering because BS cancels out the acidity in vinegar. And if that is so, I'm thinking this is a Cool process. Because I've see people on here only using ACV on their hair 😬
