I absolutely love the new format for the toy hunt videos Dan. This is by far the best way (in my opinion) to do these videos. Love your commentary and overviews. For me it's a more intricate and personal way to see what you were looking at and get more information about the things I have no idea on. And loved seeing your pickups at the end as well. Can't wait for more of these!
I use to shop weekly at the Big Fun in Cleveland Hts, on Coventry rd I miss those day's don't live in Ohio anymore and Shout out to my man Tom..I also been to this one in Columbus.
Glad you came to our awesome town! Big Fun is always a good time, always getting new stuff. Plus there are like a million things to do around that area, Short North is really nice.
Store is a little on the small side but packed full of retro goodness. Just there for the Arnold classic. Owners are fair, cheerful guys. Gave me a good deal on a 200x Evil Lyn.
As a fellow old man, carnival glass was something I regularly got when the fair came into town when I was young and it is getting rare to find so you did well to grab it.
I'm reaching back and catching up on older Toy Hunt videos and this was a good one! That carnival glass was stupidly expensive for sure but I totally get it for an incredibly unique piece, as well as with the meterob thrown in. Plus that totally unlocked a nostalgic memory for me of that white / golden frame. Oh man - so many carnival prizes featured that!
This was rad man, this new format is a lot more organized in it's presentation. I loved the old ones where you have the feeling of being in the moment of the hunts at shows, but having the footage cut between your stories in studio and back to the location really raises the bar!
I remember tossing the dimes into the carnival glass at the carnivals as a kid. Who'd have guessed back then it would be valuable today? Love your videos and insightful commentary. 👌
I'm so glad you did this video, it's great timing because I'm going to Ohio for the first time next month for a work thing and I'm definitely going to go check out Big Fun while I'm there! Hopefully I won't have to get a second suitcase for all the toys I buy to take them back home with me!
I'm glad they're still open. I have to check them out again. Next time you're in NE Ohio you should check out Toys Time Forgot in Canal Fulton, OH. It is a good distance from Big Fun.
I may be mainly a transformers collector, but i still love the turtles and MOTU lines. Plus, I love finding toys of things i think are obscure. Thanks for sharing Dan.
Great finds Dan. I definitely had purchased some Polly pockets to complement my mighty max sets at the time. It's a bit embarrassing but It was 90s colorful and more relaxed than the max sets. I Love Zbots and actively collect them. Seeing that bin full of them was the highlight of this video to me, just a stunning selection. The Burger King set ones are the most common to find. But their kind of the most iconic since everyone had those. Several pieces of fan art have been produced around that set. You can draw a connection between zbots and the modern art toy scene.
Awesome video! Your stories and nostalgic connections are great components. I was really intrigued by the Zbots. It makes me wish Hasbro would bring these original designs back as fully articulate action figures in a 7 to 9 inch scale form factor and hopefully release them with some content like a video game or anime.
Was watching this video and got a blast from the past as you were scanning a shelf full of toys. There was a 1983 LJN Dungeons and Dragons Minotaur of the Maze that I had as a kid. Hadn’t seen it since I was a kid.
Love that motu carnival glass. I had a few when I was younger but they were just of chicks bent over cars. I also love your shiny tmnt shelf. Good stuff Dan.
'girls' toys are awesome too we should talk about them more. 80s-90s we had lots of fun things like mlp, polly pocket, puppy in my pockets, keepers, fairy tail birds etc. I wish the big companies making retro would realize us gals would like some collectors items as well. Not just the doll lines like jem. (I was not a doll kid)
Hey Dan yesterday I got to meet the hulk himself in person Lou ferrigno it was the greatest thing ever and I picked up master's of the universe cards up with scenes from the cartoon
Checking out the Godzilla Force commercial and I gotta say they look pretty fun and the Godzilla they seem made to to fight looks about the same size as the modern Playmates Godzilla's. Maybe it's time for a comeback.
I lived in Columbus unit about 6 years ago when I moved to Florida that place is the one thing I miss there is nothing like it in the world i have so many fun memories of getting toys
Damn on that Donatello. I have Shredder, Raph & Mike. I got Raph Back in 2008. Garage sale. Complete for $2. So I grabbed him.Always Fun Watching toy hunting. Though I am interested When you were by that case. For My Self I was wondering what That Transformers Mirage hanging there was.. Transformers is My Main Focus & TMNT was My 2nd.I Love going to toy shops when I am on vacation. See what they have. But Yes $50 for that DOnatello. I see on Ebay They are just so much higher on ebay then in shops like these. I guess cause they have to list & they take a percentage too.
i have a different carnival glass (he-man on battle cat) from when i was a kid.. not sure how it survived without breaking! any chance on more videos based on foreign vintage motu variants? i cant seem to figure out what the french super series are..
I always figured Fwoosh prob made less $$$ than you but damn... That guy spends hundreds and hundreds without flinching. You spend a lot more strategically. Nevertheless these hunts are like my new fav thing haha
Since I could not get She-Ra and the rest of the Princess of Power figures in Sweden, my little secret "girl line" I got as a replacement for She-ra was the Goddesses of the Ultra Cosmos
Pixel Dan and/or other collector's, shall I unbox my action figures or no? I don't plan on reselling them (save some financial tragedy). Are keeping them boxed silly?
The carnival glass is definitely the highlight of this video. It's probably the most exciting carnival glass that's ever been featured on any pooptube channel at any time in the history of pooptube and the world 🌎 😀 👍
Ya know, when I was a kid, I have some X-Men figures and cards in the 90s... When I got Rogue, Storm, Phoenix and other girls figures and cards... My classmates saw what I got, they laughed at me that I love girls toys, kept on making fun of me (felt humiliated, bummer).... as years goes by, I watched the Japanese anime such as Sailor-moon and Hello Kitty, I have a crush on them but I didn't tell anyone that I like them.... As I grew from teens into adults, I've been watching girls anime, I feel nothing's wrong to have girls stuff/toys... I knew some guys collect Barbies and other dolls... I knew lots of Otaku love to collect anime girls toys and statues, also I noticed the recent My Little Pony shows have brought lots of guys to collect them which they called Brony I believe, Also I just saw in TH-cam there's an old Japanese man have the largest Hello Kitty toys and merchandises collections in the Guinness World Record, so nothing is wrong to own some girls toys that is...
This is way to edited, the walking about through a store talking about what you see, and are interested to perhaps buy. is way more entertaining and organic, not manufactured. I get that you can script your dialog over the video afterwards, with anecdotes, but this is way to stiff. Sorry to hear about the Turbodactyl though, that's rough.

100% agree, this new format is way better
I use to shop weekly at the Big Fun in Cleveland Hts, on Coventry rd I miss those day's don't live in Ohio anymore and Shout out to my man Tom..I also been to this one in Columbus.
Your toy hunt videos are my favorite that you do, love the added stories too!
Glad you came to our awesome town! Big Fun is always a good time, always getting new stuff. Plus there are like a million things to do around that area, Short North is really nice.

I like that new format you was talkin about. Plus awesome toys that you picked out and talk about. Every one of them.
As a fellow old man, carnival glass was something I regularly got when the fair came into town when I was young and it is getting rare to find so you did well to grab it.

TMNT is the best greating from Argentina 💪🏻🇦🇷
More toy hunting. Awesome stuff Dan. Love it.
I missed this store when I visited last year, but am definitely checking it this summer. Great video tour!Cannot wait for the next Power-Con!
Really digging this new format.
I remember tossing the dimes into the carnival glass at the carnivals as a kid. Who'd have guessed back then it would be valuable today? Love your videos and insightful commentary. 👌
Thanks for stopping by our city, I go to big fun once a week it's a awesome store and I bought most of those z bots after you was there lol
Definitely love the format, Mr. Dan ^^ Hearing your (after)thoughts process on the browsing and buying is nice collector insight ^^
Awesome job dan
Totally dig this format, Dan!
Love the new format!! Very engaging!!!

Dig the new format my dude, love the banter. It's what I try do with my hunt vids as well :)

This is such an amazing store to see. I’ve never been to Ohio if I ever do travel there I totally need to check this shop out
That's my local shop! I sometimes stop in just to look around; it's like a toy museum!
Some amazing pickups!
The new format is great!
I can see you wearing Sweet Secrets in your mohawk! 😆
🤘😁👍
Love this video! So much fun -
I kinda liked the format of you talking about what you find when you pick them up. I like this format but maybe mix them together?
Awesome toys collection
I miss the original Big Fun in Cleveland....maaaan what a place!
All I hear is Claire Huxtable yelling telling you out having “Big Fun!” 🤣
Such a great fun store
Love that motu carnival glass. I had a few when I was younger but they were just of chicks bent over cars. I also love your shiny tmnt shelf. Good stuff Dan.
Enjoyed it.
Loving these videos, Dan!

Yes! I was just saying the other day that I have a hard time finding vintage “girl” toys. I miss those adorable pastel colors.
Haha Dan's "Sweet Secret" is out.
wow that's an awesome shiny shelf 😂👌
Hey Dan yesterday I got to meet the hulk himself in person Lou ferrigno it was the greatest thing ever and I picked up master's of the universe cards up with scenes from the cartoon
I really need to pop in here. Still stunned a local and not been yet. I blame the work schedule. 😂
Great Store, you should stop into Jeni’s ice cream while your were there with the fam!
Love Big Fun.. little too pricy for my blood though.
I have three He-Man carnival glasses that aren't the one you bought. I wonder how many other designs are out there.
The owner is Jason, and he is extra rad!
Checking out the Godzilla Force commercial and I gotta say they look pretty fun and the Godzilla they seem made to to fight looks about the same size as the modern Playmates Godzilla's. Maybe it's time for a comeback.
Awesome video bro! 😎🤙🏽🤙🏽
So the journey began there for the metal mutants
Enjoyed this video and would like to check that store out… and no worries your sweet secrets are safe with us! 😂
I lived in Columbus unit about 6 years ago when I moved to Florida that place is the one thing I miss there is nothing like it in the world i have so many fun memories of getting toys
Hell yes! Exactly what I wanted to watch today 😁
I need to pay attetion to the socials more so I can come say hey next time you're in Ohio
❤ Spettacolo ❤ un saluto dall' 🇮🇹
I need to get back to that store soon. Speaking of She-Ra, when are you going to review the recent Masterverse action figures of Catra and Frosta?
You should check out the toy Dept in Fairfield Ohio.
Damn on that Donatello. I have Shredder, Raph & Mike. I got Raph Back in 2008. Garage sale. Complete for $2. So I grabbed him.Always Fun Watching toy hunting. Awesome 👌 that's just what the doctor suggested
I still remember seeing the metal mutants Leonardo at Target when I was a kid!
Have you done a toy room tour lately?
I liked Popples, Care Bears, Rainbow Brite.
toy collection tour this year?!
You should make your own toys and playsets
I know your pain bro and i need to get that book i hope Mattel create the Dino's
Dan sounds drunk at the beginning.
i have a different carnival glass (he-man on battle cat) from when i was a kid.. not sure how it survived without breaking! any chance on more videos based on foreign vintage motu variants? i cant seem to figure out what the french super series are..
Big fun prices are usually high.
My sister had a bunch of Sweet Secrets and I never had any idea what they were called until now.
My sister had a bunch of Sweet Secrets when we were kids.
This is the second time that my idol has been in Columbus and been at big fun and I missed him I have the lousiest of luck maybe next time
I think I can search for Metal Mutant Donatello as the line came out in 1995, though I think I just foud you a complete Metal Mutant Donatello
I love She Ra but i prefer my classics version but i do like Strawberry shortcake and Care Bears i don't collect them because of lack of room
Pixel Dan and/or other collector's, shall I unbox my action figures or no? I don't plan on reselling them (save some financial tragedy). Are keeping them boxed silly?
An incomplete metal mutant don for 50 bucks? Man, prices on these old toys keep creepin up and up!
If you’re a Twenty Øne Piløts fan, if you you walk into Big Fun don’t steal the blue dragon toy.
The carnival glass is definitely the highlight of this video. It's probably the most exciting carnival glass that's ever been featured on any pooptube channel at any time in the history of pooptube and the world 🌎 😀 👍
I don't see them pop up often
👊👊👊
Wow
🤘😎

Sorry to hear about the Turbodactyl though, that's rough.
