The Romanian Armed Forces are the military forces of Romania. It comprises the Land Forces, the Naval Forces and the Air Force. The current Commander-in-chief is Lieutenant General Gheorghiță Vlad who is managed by the Minister of National Defence while the president is the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces during wartime.
As of 2023, the Armed Forces number 71,500 active personnel and 55,000 reserves. The Land Forces have a reported strength of 35,500, the Air Force 11,700, the Naval Forces 6,800, and Joint Forces 17,500, in 2023. Total defence spending currently accounts for 2.44% of total national GDP, which represents approximately 8.48 billion US dollars. The Armed Forces are built for territorial defence, with support to NATO and EU missions, and contributions to regional and global stability and security. As of 2023, Romania is ranked 47 of 145 out of the countries considered for the annual GFP review.
Military service is voluntary in peacetime (since 2007), and compulsory in case of curfew, war, or national emergency.

You forgot the romanian 🇷🇴 main battle tank 54 TR85 -M2, and its ordered 54 Himars not 36, and we have 43 Gepard sistem complex, not 36, we also have 2 Antonov-26,also we bought 2 british Sandown Class minecraft, etc and much other military staff ordered. 😊
What are you lying about again? TR-85M2 does not exist, roughly half of the TR-85M1 tanks are inoperable due to lack of spare parts. By cannibalizing the others, it is an outdated T-55 variation in terms of armament. The chassis could still be used for something.43 GEPARD you don't need to know how many of them are still functional, it's enough if we know on a daily basis.
The HIMARS data is also accurate. You don't get what you didn't pay for! Otherwise, the public would be shocked by the low number of missiles available if they were revealed. The amount of American equipment you received and the amount it cost falls more into the category of robbery. Hardly anything for a huge amount, with minimal ammo and support.
Video counted all TR-85s; there is no TR-85M2; 36 HIMARS arrived from the 54 ordered as of now; 36 Gepards are in active service, rest are for spare parts; only one An-26 in service; only one Sandown arrived as of now, the other will arrive this year.

Se pare că nu se poate comenta nimic deoarece dacă ai un punct de vedere care nu este conform politici actuale a statului român ori ți se răspunde că probabil nu ai făcut armata , deci nu ști ce vorbesti deci nu îți poți spune părerea , că în cazul de față o mare parte din tehnică este învechită moral și că nu asta este principala problemă a armatei române ci lipsa personalului calificat necesar pentru a o deservi așa veche cum este, ca să nu mai spun că România de 33de ani are nevoie de autostrăzi ,de spitale moderne , să construiască sisteme sisteme moderne de irigații deoarece hrana este ce-l ce-l important sector al unui stat care se vrea suveran și independent, deci atăta timp căt statul român nu are o agricultură dezvoltată , împreună cu facilitățile necesare prelucrări producției agricole mă întreb pentru ce se investește în cheltuieli militare cănd de fapt avem nevoie doar de trupe speciale , sisteme moderne de rachete și de o aviație performantă și în primul rănd de conducători care să vrea dezvoltarea țări !

Those 7 PAtriot batteries that we ordered (from which 4 are already operational) are bought NEW, the latest version namely PDB-8. Piranha V are manufactured in Romania in like 5 factories producing parts from them.Civillian trucks? DAC trucks were built specifically for the Army, there are many versions of them some specialised in howitzer towing.IVECO M250 (also new and assembled in Romania) are by excelence military trucks.
