I was miliseconds from asking my instructor to let me pull over (he was unaware of how I was feeling). It's so good she's aware of her student's emotions

Yes that's happened to me before when I was a learner (passed over 2 years ago now but will always remember when I was a learner as it took me a while to pass), I made a big mistake which threw me off and I got all stuck in my head which made me make more mistakes which my instructor somehow didn't pick up on (he wasn't a good instructor and so I left him a while after this) and eventually just started balling. I think it's so important for the intructor to pick up on how the learner if feeling and know when to pull them over. I've noticed Aman is so good and knowing when to do this and when to stop mock tests, she's very good at her job, wish my instructor was like this.
I think with Juvenal you can see why learners go to professional driving instructors and then practice what they were taught with family. While his brother just says 'Why didn't you stop earlier' she immediately acknowledged the fact that he was too fast due to the high speed in the road beforehands. For all the brotherly love I think it's time for Jrizzy to be responsible and hand over the duties for a qualified ADI in Aman to take over as Juvenal is clearly suffering and too polite to say so. It's time for a postive change and improve Juvenal's wellbeing.. 😊
He’s making so much progress really when u look at his other mocks with you id love to see u teach him and the way u handled the scuffed alloy hats off
Overall, he made progress. Aside from the mistakes, it was a pretty solid drive. What he mainly needs is someone that is calm and reassuring to him, even when he does something wrong. If he were to be guided by a calm, patient professional (such as Aman), I’m sure he’ll be a competent enough driver fairly soon.
There are things only instructors can teach you. I remember my cousin teaching me, yelling and shouting , just stressing me more and more. People don’t know how to put what they know into words. I got confidence after learning from an instructor.
You are an incredible instructor. You can just tell how comfortable he is with you. He’s improved a lot since the last video I saw with you and him. Genuinely proud of him!!
I would love to see Juvenal do a Mock Test without Jeremy sitting in the back. I'm sure he'd do 5 times better than that, not having his brother's heavy stare nagging him. After the curb situation, you could see Juvenal constantly looking in the rear mirror, and seeing Jeremy's reaction led him to dwell on the mistake, thinking it was way worse than it actually was. He did so much better this time around, I was pleasantly surprised that he didn't fail within the first 2 minutes. He drove for about 15 minutes without any bad incidents. He can be a good driver, but the pressure his brother puts on him is only slowing his progress, by a lot.
100% agree with this comment. If Juvenal returns to Aman’s channel, I hope it’s without Jeremy. Even stopping off on Jeremy’s channel, it’s clear keeping Juvenal from driving well *makes them money and fame*. At what point does having them both return to the channel become complicity in the exploitation of Juvenal on Aman’s part?
@@TheMuseTree I with you except for the last part. Aman tried her very best to help Juvenal, and knowing her, she would still try. Not for the money or views, but because she genuinely cares about her students
This is brilliant! He’s got the know how he just needs your professionalism to get him through, he won’t pass just his brother. The way you brought his anxiety down and talked it through was awesome 🙌❤
Juvenal has improved so much since his last mock test! He would have passed and become so confident on the road by now if he was getting lessons from an accredited driving instructor. If they’re serious about passing his practical, he’ll get driving lessons with a professional instructor. Please do lessons with him Aman, we need another regular learner on your channel to see their progress!
I’ve noticed that Juvenal is almost like me when it comes to driving. It seems like we do have a general idea of what to do while driving but when we make a mistake we dwell on it too much that it just crumbles us down.
Aman I have to say you are one of the best driving instructors out there and I always wished that I was living in London so, I could have driving class with you, you are so good at explaining and being so calm and giving confident.
@@Bigmummyjoe57but he has definitely improved,he is definitely not far way from getting a license if he works on those few things ,he need a good driving instructor and he will surely pass .
I think he let the first serious mistake get to him because afterwards he started making careless mistakes. It is good to see that he’s improved a lot from before though! I love your little pep talk starting at 19:16, such a nice instructor 🩵
I just passed my driving test in my own country, and these videos provided me comfort when I was gearing up to take the test because Aman is so good and delivering lessons in a calm, extremely clear, and non-judgemental way. It made me feel like if I just calm down, I'll know what to do because I've already had multiple lessons and practices doing it. I honestly don't think Juvenal is a lost cause. He just needs to have more confidence on the road, and to do that, he needs to be learning and practising with an instructor that constantly helps to build that confidence.
I think Juvenal would benefit from using risk triggered commentary. So if he’s like setting off he says out loud what he needs to do before he sets off like checking blind spots. If he’s approaching a roundabout he can be saying like give way to the right so he knows he has to look to the right and not give way to cars approaching from the left. If he’s turning right say out loud mirror signal manoeuvre. I’m positive if he actually commentates on what he’s doing it will stick in his head.
It's not that he can't drive, he can drive very well. (Though he is clutching first before breaking). It's that he hasn't been taught the *importance* of checking mirrors and blindspots. I've noticed from previous videos that he doesn't like them because he feels like hes doing it just so the instructor can see he's doing it. But you don't check blindspots juts for the *sake* of it, you need to be fully aware of any fast vehicles that might rush down the road before he moves off. I mean when I'm driving, I'm constantly checking cause you never know there might be a cyclist or motorcyclist coming out of nowhere. He's very lucky that whenever he doesn't check his blindspots nothing bad has occured. But I don't want him to find out the importance the hard way.
I taught my son that you need to know who’s around you at all times on all sides. That way you’re aware in advance what you need to do if someone tries to cut you off or an obstacle is in your way. Do you have room to swerve, and if so, right or left, or is breaking hard the only way?
😊 JUVENAL 😊 You’re making great progress with your driving skills! Your dedication and focus on improving are really paying off. Keep up the hard work, and you’ll pass in no time. Stay confident and keep learning!
He has certainly improved. I was pleasantly surprised. Honestly with 12 weekly lessons and daily practice with his brother would would make a huge difference and possibly be test ready. The 10 hours practice he has is nothing.
Having watched a few of his driving lessons/ mock tests now, it's actually amazing how much he has improved with some kind, encouraging words from Aman. In everything you do in life, a good teacher is definitely key. Someone who knows the right way to get through to your learning style, and to help process in the best way for you. Aman is clearly able to speak to his specific learning style, and the results from that process of learning have been priceless thus far. You wouldn't expect a doctor to automatically know how to perform a surgery after only a couple of lessons, and learning to drive is no different. Everyone needs practice in everything they do, and if they say they don't, then they're either lying to you, or to themselves, or both. Well done on the improvement, and I'm sure with more practice lessons with Aman, you will pass with flying colours. Good luck!
The cool thing about his faults and how he drove this time around is that, all his mistakes were mistakes that any new or learner driver could have made, unlike before, there weren't any straight up crazy things that happened. So he has improved a lot, so I think more lessons and maybe in 3-6 months, he could give it another try and I could see him do well.
What a pleasant instuctor. Juvenal, dont deep it, keep trying, and push through. Im still trying to gain my licence, and it isn't easy.. you're not alone :)
This was super helpful! I made a mistake today that was similar to what he did at the big roundabout. But my instructor didnt explain how to avoid it in the future. I will now always check the speedometer when slowing down from a high speed. I hope he learns to be less hard on himself. We all make mistakes. Nobody's born with a wheel in their hands, but with practice and patience we can do it 😊
I honestly think he's improved so much! Mock Tests are always nerve-racking - he just needs more practice. I think with a few driving lessons with a driving instructor he'll get more confident.
It's great to see progress. He just needs to ditch the one factor that is holding him back: Jeremy. If Juvenal can get his brother out of his head and out of the vehicle, then he stands a chance. One minor hint: when parking on the left, drift over, rather than steer; it must be a shallow angle you approach at.
Juvenal, You can doing better.. You can do it… I have severe anxiety.. I even got scolded by a lot of people because I didn’t have driver license and I cannot drive.. But today I slowly getting better to drive but I still cannot drive far away from my home alone.. You can do it.. No matter how long it takes.. You are getting better..❤😊
Me too. Not getting pushed or anything about it though. I'm afraid of taking the car in the city or further from the settlement alone. I have driven further with and experienced driver next to me. Part of this is that i drive the family car, a daihatsu terios, which is not the easiest car to drive and very different from the one i learned on
Poor lad - I remember the days when the lesson just goes to pot and that feeling of knowing your instructor is disappointed. You’ll get there Juvenal! Keep going lad 💪🏻
Bless him!! He did so well compared to before, massive improvement!! I'm also an anxious driver so can relate to all of it. It's not necessarily "common sense" as his brother puts it, he clearly doesn't have enough experience so misjudges situations, all would be good with more practice and better teaching.
The theory test pass only lasts for two years so I would put money on him having to take that again. The main issue is that when you watch the lessons with Jeremy, Jeremy offers no real instruction, explanation or insight in to how to drive. He basically just says “at the end of this road, turn left please” and then shrieks at him when he does badly, and congratulates him when he does something to the near minimum standard. The lad needs professional lessons and they cost money for a reason!
Moments leading upto 17:52 & 25:39 the best, both the certified instructor and the self-proclaimed instructor anticipated the incidents & both of them had similar expressions on their faces at the same time. 😅😊😂
Passed my test today and thank you so much for all of your videos, they have been so so helpful. To everyone who has a test coming soon, just be yourself, be confident and try not to lose nerve on the first 5 minutes, you will pass. Keep up the good work, adios 🥰
Honestly, love the channel. I watch Jeremy and Juvenal as well. He has clearly improved in his driving. I have a test late February for the actual thing too!
Hi Aman at 31.39 your question is ''which crossing has an amber flashing beacon''. I would have answered Zebra. A Pelican crossing has an amber flashing light. 🤔
You are completely correct Zebra Crossings have a number of Belisha Beacons on them named after the Minister of Transport who introduced the Driving Test in 1935. He later became Lord Belisha. Pelicon crossings have an Amber Flashing Phase but the lights on traffic lights are never referred to as beacons and just because a light flashes it does not then get classified as a beacon. We never refer to our indicator beacons or the beacons sequence at traffic lights.
So crazy that his brother is exposing him and making fun of him infront of a whole youtube channel and we still think that he cares if Juvenal passes the exam!! I can only imagine the confidence hit he has each time he is being made fun of
He’s doing very well. He just tends to dwell on any mistake he makes. He needs to remember stuff happens keep going don’t beat yourself up. Im happy Aman recognizes what happens to him.
Juvenal, you got this. I'm speculating, but I feel like the self doubt about driving and the pressure of being on camera is triggering the fight or flight reflex right before your start driving. When that happens, our brains go into panic mode making you forget everything, and start driving with a ton of anxiety. This is what is causing you to make these silly mistakes, not inexperience. I have been there, all you have to do is get over that, and you will easily pass a mock test like this. Yes there is work to be done, but it will be so much easier to retain and apply on your test once you overcome the anxiety. I am also not sure if its the camera, and you knowing a lot of ppl will see you after. You should know we are all rooting for you. Aman why not teach him?
Oh Juvenal, I feel for you, it's within your grasp.I still think you need lessons with Aman, send Jeremy off to the Cinema. He was saying you know where to stop, But you don't know how to stop. For all the brotherly love I think it's time for Jrizzy to be responsible and hand over the duties for a qualified ADI in Aman to take over as Juvenal is clearly suffering and too polite to say so. It's time for a postive change and improve Juvenal's wellbeing.. 😊
Just realised Juvenal and aman are matching colours
Haha completely unplanned
@@ClearviewDrivingcute lol
i genuinely feel for Juvanel, it´s clear he´s trying his best and wants to pass his test
He needed comforting and Aman delivered. Was great to see.
You've improved Juvenal 👏🏼
He’s making so much progress really when u look at his other mocks with you id love to see u teach him and the way u handled the scuffed alloy hats off
Such an improvement from Juvenal, I'm genuinely really proud of him - he will definitely get his license if he carries on ❤
nah i don’t wanna drive behind or in front of this guy ever
No he won't he's the worst I've ever seen.
He has improved so much since last time! Keep at it Juvenal!
The thumbnail alone already lets me know we’re in for a video like no other already haha
From sri lanka 🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰
Overall, he made progress. Aside from the mistakes, it was a pretty solid drive.
What he mainly needs is someone that is calm and reassuring to him, even when he does something wrong. If he were to be guided by a calm, patient professional (such as Aman), I’m sure he’ll be a competent enough driver fairly soon.
kudos to this instructor, shes so calm and softly spoken
Please have a series where you teach Juvenal how to drive it will be so entertaining and will be awesome to see his improvements
God help you if you're like him he is appalling.
I love when aman teaches juvenal 👏🏽
It's always worth watching your driving mocks, so minutely you observe everything and your explanation seems like quite valuable 👍
Professional Lessons make the difference. Gave me so much confidence when driving.
That was so much of an improvement to last time! Well done Juvenal!
Well done Juvenal great progress!!!!!
And wow you are SUCH a great instructor! I wish I had you when I was learning x
I completely agree with constructive criticism but negative comments from his brother will never do anything in making him more confident!
Can definitely see massive improvement in Juvenals driving!!!! Well done Bigman!!! Definitely before long you will be passed🎉 👍👍👍👏👏
He has improved a lot, and what's lacking is a professional instructor! Very very improved and he getting there!
Great tutor, staying calm when the learner is obviously distressed.
Passed my test 2nd time this week ❤. Got more points than expected but your videos helped ease my anxiety, keep up the content ❤
Well done, Juvenal, what an impressive improvement! Keep at it and you'll be great!
Go go go Juvenal ! You made so much improvements !
As a PDI I must say, I do admire your patience especially when you know pupil is about to hit the kerb.
Awww, juvenil, you were doing so well. You have come a long way since your first mock test... keep going you got this 👍🏾
Please teach him proper driving
Aman I have to say you are one of the best driving instructors out there and I always wished that I was living in London so, I could have driving class with you, you are so good at explaining and being so calm and giving confident.
Hey thank you for your kind words :)
@@ClearviewDriving 🩷🩷wish me good luck with my test on Wednesday Aman I always watch your videos learn a lot every time.
Thank you so much
I appreciate how Juvenal is aware of the mistakes he makes, just shows progress
He been doing this for 2 year now
@@Bigmummyjoe57but he has definitely improved,he is definitely not far way from getting a license if he works on those few things ,he need a good driving instructor and he will surely pass .
I think he let the first serious mistake get to him because afterwards he started making careless mistakes. It is good to see that he’s improved a lot from before though! I love your little pep talk starting at 19:16, such a nice instructor 🩵
Juvenal is brave lad i dont think id have the guts to have my driving lessons filmed
She is the best instructor for a beginner i could ever seen
Love and support from sister from Pakistan... 🇵🇰
You can tell he's doing it for the instructor to see. He checks the blindspot and he moves 10 seconds later.
Today i passed my drving licence with zero major or minor mistakes.you videos helped very much❤❤❤.Keep it up sweetheart.😊
I like juvenal , he's not cocky and will do well when he controls nerves
He has improved a lot since last time
This was super helpful! I made a mistake today that was similar to what he did at the big roundabout. But my instructor didnt explain how to avoid it in the future. I will now always check the speedometer when slowing down from a high speed.
I hope he learns to be less hard on himself. We all make mistakes. Nobody's born with a wheel in their hands, but with practice and patience we can do it 😊
He’s actually improved so much 🎉
Please we need more lessons with him
I honestly think he's improved so much! Mock Tests are always nerve-racking - he just needs more practice. I think with a few driving lessons with a driving instructor he'll get more confident.
ugh a whole series with aman teaching juvenal and doing mock tests would be so entertaining hopefully one day 😞
He has improved for sure. And I’m glad of it. I saw him more focused.
He has improved so much. When other drivers beep at you it makes you feel so pressured that you can forget what to do and you panic.
Passed my test yesterday aman. Your videos been really helpful. I still watching you when im free. Thanks❤
Great job! 👏🏽
You should do a complication of you needing to take over the pedals! I don’t know why but you always look so cool doing it😂
Please take him under you’re wing!! We are rooting for you jouvenal
I passed today, (third time) and I’m so happy.
Now I can go on and get my bus license.
Just give this man an automatic transmission. He clearly cant drive stick. Doesn't have to be complicated.
the noisy gear change also. He makes it look as if it's a 30 year old car.
Aman !!!!! Please take Juvenal under your wing ! Your TH-cam channel will explode , and Juvenal will learn how to drive properly !!!
He’s learning to drive with his brother Jeremy and he’s coming along :)
@@ClearviewDrivinghe really isn’t though. He needs a driving instructor
@@ClearviewDriving his brother is milking his struggles for money
He doesn’t he needs a professional driving instructor , Jeremy just shouts on him ! He is not teaching him properly !
God bless you all have a great day
Moments leading upto 17:52 & 25:39 the best, both the certified instructor and the self-proclaimed instructor anticipated the incidents & both of them had similar expressions on their faces at the same time. 😅😊😂
Lol, thats what I was going to comment
@@jbfluffypingu185 😄 hi-five
So much better than the last one, but I do think his brother knocks his confidence at points which is shame.
He needs an actual instructor with actual correct driving lesson cars.
And with dual controls.
And his brother needs to stay home 😂 he definitely amplifies his mistakes

@@bjthedjdutchdude1992 The car in this video has dual controls, though.
Passed my test today and thank you so much for all of your videos, they have been so so helpful. To everyone who has a test coming soon, just be yourself, be confident and try not to lose nerve on the first 5 minutes, you will pass. Keep up the good work, adios 🥰
Really well done 👏🏽 and thank you for watching
Honestly, love the channel. I watch Jeremy and Juvenal as well. He has clearly improved in his driving. I have a test late February for the actual thing too!
I'm happy for you man. You're becoming a better driver. Good luck with your driving journey.
Hi Aman at 31.39 your question is ''which crossing has an amber flashing beacon''. I would have answered Zebra. A Pelican crossing has an amber flashing light. 🤔
31:39
He's a million times better than his first mock test.
Love these aman and juvenal collabs 🙌🏽❤️
Hey Aman your such a good instructor your videos teach me lots of things
And makes me ready for my test
Hopefully i can pass it in the first time ...
Oh Juvenal, I feel for you, it's within your grasp.I still think you need lessons with Aman, send Jeremy off to the Cinema. He was saying you know where to stop, But you don't know how to stop. I'm sitting here shouting "get off the clutch and get the brake on" I'll get strange looks off next door tomorrow. Good luck and get plenty of practice.
doing well man, keep up with the improvements. From your first mock to this one youve made such good advancements in your overall driving.
Massive improvement from your previous mock tests.
You can surely pass next time!
