If you are a fan of Minecraft and would be interested in a fan made saga using multiple players, sets, and some great humor then try it one day. They did some songs too. If memory serves, that cartoon clip is from a parody of "Moves Like Jagger." It's called "Screw the Nether."
It's amazing how much accessibility the Minecraft world has. Nothing is out of reach, even if you don't have the use of your legs. Our world should take a page from their book (whoever they are).

Depends, he could lose out on a lot of viewers and possible subscribers. It was probably cut because he was not talking and focusing on getting it done. Commentating can be very distracting for the uploader

I don't think he will make drastic changes, he was probably just really busy this time and was just doing his best. He was happy with what he posted and hoping his viewers would be too. I'm happy he uploaded in general, so I have no complaints.
getting a boat uphill in java is a pain, best way we found for our canals is a pair of pistons triggered by pressure plates. Works most of the time! Soul sand can work too but is more likely to sink your boat than the piston method.

As a military genius from the future, let me share the clear strategy. Only need to dismount boat to enter portals~ Step 1: Gather lots of wood. Atleast a stack to be safe. Step 2: Dig straight down and find redstone and iron. Step 3: Make pistons and levers and buckets of water. Now you can proceed with the game kind of normally. Albeit slower

Pistons can push the boat up, which is what I often use when transporting villagers with boats
Tbh, I just use a water bucket. The boat floats upwards, so you can just climb hills by making a waterfall as high as you can.
