Hey, fyi, the 50 hit door was actually a coding error and was never meant to be a thing that happened. They actually patched it in like 1.03 I think. and you can no longer hit that wall to reveal a hidden door.

The Outer God of Rot cursed Malenia, not Miquella. Malenia was trained by a swordsman who once used the Waterfowl Dance to seal away rot itself. This might explain why Malenia was cursed. She reminded the outer god of the swordsman that sealed it away. Miquella was cursed with eternal youth. He looks like a kid always, but despite looking so young he was incredibly brilliant. He worked to create something that could banish the influence of the gods. So he created a needle of unalloyed gold. This unalloyed gold is what Millicent uses to stave off her rot but it was originally intended to save Miquella’s sister Malenia whom he loved dearly. But Miquella was also strangely irresistible to everyone and while he cacooned himself within his Haligtree to evolve he was abducted by Mohg which is why the Haligtree is dying. Miquella can no longer sustain it.

The broken needle you find was actually Malenia's.. In the cutscene where Malenia is fighting Redahn she pushes her own sword into her shoulder which breaks the needle and allows her rot to bloom.
As i understand, Miquella and Malenia were 'imperfect' and were cursed (or able to be cursed by another outer god) because they were a product of marika and radagon making offspring with eachother, while being the same entity, so basically incest or self-cest. Ranni, rykard and radahn were children of radagon with Rennala so they were fine.
@@kreshar Miquella and Malenia are mirror images of their parents. Opposite gender of the parent with the same hair color and they are both related to the ideas of Abundance and Decay. I know that Malenia is said to have an outer god of rot basically spreading rot through her but I think its must as possible that Miquella also has some sort of outer god working through her. Just speculation though. I know in the game files there's a cut twinblade with Abundance and Decay jn the name..it was meant to be a boss weapon from a battle you'd have with Malenia and Miquella. It's very interesting that they're both cursed in some way that seems like a punishment for their "parents" having them.
"Let Me Solo Her" even got noticed by from software and they sent him a massive giftbox (with an actual, engraved sword & personal letter) with very cool stuff, he posted pictures of it online you can find

The troll’s Fell God eye stomachs were likely removed by Marika. There are stone tablet seals in their stomachs (likely serving a similar purpose to the Omen Shackles) and in Marika’s bedchamber, there are hundreds of stone tablet seals. She is using them as slaves

The last giant boss was one I was actually looking forward to the most. And in particular for that cut scene. I wish they had more than one giants. Even the dragons are plentiful finally in a souls game. Seeing that giants actually survive would have been nice.
Another cool touch for STRAYDEMON is the Reddit community has named their own for multiplayer after him, if you throw strydmn into the group password option for online you’ll see everyone from the community at summon signs and get a rune boost anytime someone in the group defeats a shard bearer. Just shows the love of the souls community.
Just a few thoughts.
I think Rannis rune is the rune of the unborn. The gift Radagon left Rennala was Ranni all along. When her body dies on the night of the black knives the only thing left is the great rune. Which is why Rennala is so heartbroken, not because Radagon left her. Even her mannerisms exude a sense of maternal loss. She clutches the great rune close all that time up until she meets the player. Even when you fight her, in the transition to the second phase Rannis shadow leaks from the rune itself culminating in the second phase. I believe that Rennala is trying to reincarnate Ranni with the great rune, but since Rannis soul is absent, she only gets imperfect clones of herself. To further solidify this, when we defeat Rennala and she converses in a way with Ranni she stops using the rune except to aid the player. It all makes sense. Radagon didn’t leave Rennala and Ranni willingly, at least that’s what I think.
Marika was cursed by the fire giants. I believe it was then when Radagon was born.
That is Miquella’s Rune, who I believe is Ranni reincarnated. No I’m not crazy.
Mohgs Great Rune -“Mohg and Morgott are twin brothers, and their Great Runes are naturally similar.”
The Rune of the Unborn is similar to Malenia. The shape is smaller because Miquella’s curse was “eternal childhood”.
And Rennala isn’t heartbroken, she’s bewitched by Miquella, which Miquella has the power to do(Bewitching Branch). There are many characters in the game who are bewitched by Miquella(Ranni)
Mogh - attempts to start a dynasty with him
Rennala - calls the egg her “culver”
Malenia - Blade of Miquella
Gideon - sends agents to murder an entire village just to find half of his medallion
Seluvis - wants the blue cunny
The player - Isn’t it weird and random how we just give her a wedding ring with no explanation?

Just gonna point out that the Fungi theories are 100% intentional because GRRM used the exact same science as the basis for the Weirwood network in song of ice and fire. This concept is something he is INTIMATELY familiar with.

He is the trope greek-tragedy masked figure, explaining to the audience, the main character's dillema. The fact he has a bouquet (given to actors by their fans either before or after acting).

The wall doesn't actually take 50 hits. It just has a specific health level, and it just so happens that most weapons take between 47-50 hits to reach that threshold. It was also a bug and never intended to be breakable, as it was patched out in 1.03 or 1.04 iirc.

A note on the dead maiden/Varre conspiracy, if you're referring to the dead maiden at the Church of Inhibition in Liurnia of the Lakes, that maiden wasn't meant to be yours. That was the maiden of the tarnished known as Vyke the Dragon Spear, who invades you when you get close. However, I suspect you mean the dead maiden in the Chapel of Anticipation in Limgrave to which you're probably correct, but we may never really know.

Everyone thinks the DLC will be about either Miquella or the Badlands but I am 90%+ sure that it will be about Godwyn. As touched on at the end of the video, something very sinister is going on with his decaying body & as alluded to by Fia, his will is still very much alive.

In all seriousness though I have a weird opinion on the DLC.
For Lore's sake, i hope its about Miquella.
For My sake, I hope it involves all the shipwrecks off the coasts of the whole world.
And for the Communities sake, it better not be a PvE Boss Rush arena in the centre of the map.
I don't think it will be set in the Badlands because these games usually don't go that far away from the central location, and they probably don't want to spoil the illusion of a world beyond The Lands Between.
I'm not sure about Godwyn though, unless it's set in the past, which is less interesting that it's future. While its current state is... debatable, it doesn't seem to be very active in our timeline, or at least not in a way that can work for a DLC I think.
I still think it's gotta be Miquella or something, idk...
Come to think of it, we could access a dreaming space of sorts, but we already did that, so... yeah, I don't know...
I personally believe Miquella and Godwyn will be the stars of the dlc. I think that would be awesome and it seems likely. However, From is really good at subverting expectations.

I think the Radagon = Marika is (among other things) a Fromsoft play on the Bible's story about the creation of Adam and Eve, where one was made from the rib of the other. Not only were they made for each other, they are one being, one union. I found it interesting that a large portion of their ribcage is missing at the end of the game.
The fact that Marika is portrayed as the one with rebellious tendencies against the Greater Will while Radagon is shown to be loyal also echoes the way original sin is understood/explained by Christians of certain persuasions: Eve sinned and is believed to have "dragged" Adam and humanity down with her.
I saw it as a depiction of God. God is described as three beings in one, each with distinct personality’s and roles. It’s unfathomable to us, but what would gods be if they were so easily understood
Yeah, still they are the same. All of the demigods are Marika's offsprings as explained by Enia. Or at least descendants in the case of Godfrey. And in the cutscenevwhen we fight Radagon we see Marika's body turning into his.

Adam like Eve was seduced so both were responsible. Freedom of choice is a core tenent of the Christian ethos. That choice is made by the individual and each individual is responsible for those choices. So your suppositions are without merit.
I don’t think it’s just a metaphorical, or spiritual oneness, marika literally transforms into radagon for the final fight in front of you
No, their depiction more logically connects to the rebis, the ultimate end goal of alchemy. The connections to biblical stories are coincidental, as any story about rebellion would relate in the same way. The Greater Will is a god, but Marika takes the more direct role as such. She also isn't the first god and Radagon isn't the first lord. They're not Adam and Eve, they're much closer to Zeus and Hera, down to the lightning powers and demigod children. Marika "sinned" sure, but Radagon wasn't brought down with her, he returned to assist in her punishment because he believes in the Greater Will and the Golden Order above all else, he's the opposite of Adam.

On the Jellyfish...
Roderika tells us that her people, uppon being grafted (cut into pieces to glue them on other beings for power) had their limbs cut off, arms, legs, "even their heads" she says. Then she gives you a jellyfish ash.
To me it means that all the jellyfishes you see are actually people who were grafted, and had their "spirit" reduced to a limbless thing that floats, a Jellyfish.
So yeah, the sisters would have been grafted.

this was a PHENOMENAL video. I got the platinum on ps4 in the first couple weeks and just recently started a new playthru on ps5. now I'm even more hyped. Marika most likely played her hand too early by helping orchestrate the death of Godwyn, or turning a blind eye to what her Numen were doing.

Somethings to be said about mushroom conspiracy:
1- The golden seeds that we collect speak of the fact that they were released once the Elden ring was shattered, and to erdtree, it was as if life was about to end. Mushrooms usually release their spores once their life is about to end or is endangered, unlike trees.
2- The golden seeds do not look anything like actual tree seeds. Having no transportation methods which trees are very well known for. Rather they look a lot like spores.
3-It is said the influence of the Greater will (or we could say the greater will itself) came from meteoroids containing golden shimmer. Well to me it sounds a lot like a golden seed; spores planted on meteoroids and transported to another planet.
p.s. It has been speculated that mushrooms in our world have a lot of weird qualities and origins that don't really make much sense when studied throughout the earth's history. Many theorize that they could be aliens. To be honest they are super weird, from precise mind controls on specific creatures; to fruit-like imitations that have really weird synergies when combined with other fungi; and different protein chain creations ranging from poisons to nutrients, antibiotics, and hallucinogens without having+ any specified "body" part just for that!
And in look of how muchrooms feed- despite being anchored in place like plants they do not photosynthesise, they do not "make" their own food at the spot they reside needing to eat what dies on the ground beneath them or- in creepiest cases- hijack another living being to feed upon and make it release the moshroom spores onto even more hosts.
In case of Elden Ring's Erdetree and Greater Will the parasitic fungi is quite a ponient metaphor for how Greater Will broke what used to live in Lands Between and then on presumed death bed of what it infected it trying to spread it's influence beyond

If you read Cosmic Horror tales then yes- Old Ones, Elder Gods etc etc can usually be summarized as aliens.
And there's nothing bad in that, it's the way you show it and talk about it matters.
Hell, if author is competent they could even make the common greys work in cosmic horroor
There are actually trees who's seeds can only sprout during fires, which is when a trees life is about to end. I can see us lighting the tree on fire to start a new era being a reference to exactly that sooner than mushrooms. I also don't see how it looks more like spores than a seed. A seed is round and solid, spores are literally powder. I just don't see any logical reason it would be called a seed, look like a seed and not be alluded to that not being the case if it were spores. Your 3rd point is just too baseless in anything in game to even entertain it.

This is one of the most interesting elden ring videos I've seen and I've nonstop played and watched content on the game since it came out. This was my first dark souls esc game and it made me want to play all the other games. Thanks alot for the video I really enjoyed it
Another thing I just thought of is on the mushroom theory is the fact that the elden ring is inside of Marika/Radagon, the fact that after the death of his soul Godwyn essentially became a parasitic fungus like structure that spreads between the roots, as well as the fact that Radahn has a fungus like material growing on his legs. Lastly, Miquella's power of transformation seems to cocoon the individual, including himself in a fungus like material. Maybe the parasitic fungus like nature of the elden ring and greater will spread to their offspring due to them playing host to it.
this is one of these videos that perfectly fit before going to bed and sleep, calming and interesting, great work!

I love a good theory video, great work! I had an idea today that I haven’t seen out there yet. Mainly in regards to the origins of the frenzied flame. A common thing we’ve seen with those involved with the flame of frenzy is their eyes, or lack there of. Hyetta’s blind and eats eyes to see the guiding light of frenzy, the cultists tear their eyes out and summon the big eye of Sauron lookin thing, and it seems like the nomad merchants are blind. So theoretically, what if when Marika shattered the Elden ring, she did so with the intention of bringing everything back to The One Great. As punishment, her eyes are removed to take away any sight of bringing the end to the erd tree. Only problem is that she’s got Radagon in there too. The guy who’s been cursed by the flame of ruin god who demands sacrifice to wield it’s flame. If their eyes are removed, that sacrifice of their eyes brings that curse to life. The golden sight of fate guiding the erd tree’s destruction to return everything to one from Marika, and the burning flames of Radagon’s curse. Enter the frenzied flame and Numen’s get blamed and locked in the basement (it’s kinda fair tho cuz Marika is numen sooo) The only evidence I have to go on are the scarseals and soreseals of Marika and Radagon. Even in gameplay, they hint at that small sacrifice you make in taking more damage in return for gaining more power. I see everyone missing eyes or blind following the guidance of grace, or frenzied flame, or talking to giant fingers. The frenzied flame and the flame of ruin share a giant eye, share a craving for destruction, and are the only two thing’s that can burn down the erd tree. Even the color of the flame is yellow with reddish orange edges like a Marika Radagon combo. That’s all I got for that crazy theory. Gonna go test it now by equipping all 4 talismans when I get a three fingered hug.

I spent 2 hours grinding for 2 Celebrant's Sickles as part of my "get everything for every possible build" playthrough. This includes farming for 2 of each melee weapon :')
Edit: I probably had it lucky with only having to spend 2 hours to grind for this weapon (with boosted discovery due to Mimic Tear Helm and Silver Pickled Fowl's Feet, might I add)
I mean, I would say FromSoft's post-Armored Core library has been mainstream for a while now. Dark Souls has been popular on TH-cam and Twitch for a long time.

Personally, I think Ranni and the Dusk Eyed Queen are two separate people. I think the death of Ranni was the catalyst to bring the Gloam Eyed Queen back into existence. The fact that Ranni has an eye, the opposite eye, mind you, that is like the Queen is more of a scar or branding from coming into contact with the power of the Rune of Death but "surviving" the encounter, considering that Ranni is inhabiting the body of a doll, which cannot be killed anyway and was only branded by her eye tattoo due to Ranni's spirit entering the doll. The "death" of her original body marked one eye, while the "revival" of the Gloam Eyed Queen marked the opposite eye of Melina. Considering this game, and most of From Soft's games, are about cycles, I think the eye brandings are representations of different points of the same cycles. And while you may think that cycle is Death, I think that cycle is the Gloam Eyed Queen herself. And I think half of the Queen resides in Ranni and the other half in Melina. This led me to thinking about the who the other half of Melina is. If half is the Queen, who could be the other? Then I thought about the dead maiden at the beginning of the game... It would explain her death and how Melina could do the job of the maiden. Also, to further this thought, Torrent is recognized by both Ranni and Melina,, the only two people who have come into contact with the Queen. Seeing how there was a link between the Ancestral creatures and Torrent, this would solidify the idea that both Ranni and Melina had come into contact with death itself.
Please forgive my disjointed rambling as I had this theory simmering in my brain and had yet to write it down until my last post. I hope it makes sense.

This one is my favorite, I actually fell for the facade of soldiers mourning their fallen comrades.
I think the thought that they were mourning them. Is what made the realization that they were actually eating them, feel worse.
If elden ring gets DLC I have really high hopes because they'll probably explore more of Miquella and the areas will likely be similar to farum azula which ultimately the game lacked
If you think about it, Renala has one of the most depressing stories. Her husband left her to marry himself, Ranni killed her body, Rykard became an abomination, and Radahn lost his mind.

And Rennala's greatest labor, the task she has worked the hardest to achieve... was impossible for reasons she wouldn't learn until after you fight her and destroy her work. Yeah... Ranni never told Rennala what she's been up to after the death of her body...

the dead maiden was the maiden of Vike, the last and only tarnished before you to find more than two shards of the elden ring, but before he could get his fourth and take on Marika he was told by the most hated man shabriri, that his maiden would be burned to become elden Lord, in a plot to turn him against the two fingers and towards the mad three fingers, before Vike could complete his new mission he was imprisoned in the gaol on the mountain tops of the Giants. his maiden either killed herself in rebellion or shame or was murdered by shabriri.
You also fight fingerprint vyke as he invades you and get his spear.

There are many types of icebergs. Some icebergs rank their content by their obscurity. Others by how disturbing or strange they are. Some icebergs are a combination of both, which are my favorite kind.
I kinda like how the more faith you have, the darker your become giving that you need an insane amount of faith to find out Radagon is Marika and that to use the black blade incantations or black blade you need at least 47 faith.

I personally believe that this Item is the key to tying it to the Gloam/Dusk eyed queen aka Marika the eternal.
The short version is that judging from Iji and Ranni’s dialogue, we know that when each Empyrean are chosen by their two fingers, they are given a shadow that will turn into a horrid curse should they ever betray the Greater Will. How do they know this? They must’ve seen it happen. The only other recorded Empyrean with a shadow in history is Marika and when she began to plot against the Greater Will(Enia mentioning her trespass), I believe Maliketh activated his kill switch and used Destined Death against her hence why she’s crucified with a spear bearing similar traits to the power of his Black Blade(It channels the same brilliance of the black flame and Blaidd’s eyes glow red at the end of Ranni’s questline, possibly explaining the red hue). It would explain why her corpse is missing her left eye, why the eye has a claw mark, and is surrounded by Marika’s stony flesh. Another question I asked myself is just how Maliketh was able to possess or lock away the Rune of Death if he’s just a shadowbound and not a demigod? The answer is simple, he sealed Marika inside him who actually was a vessel for the Rune of Death. He only channels the power from his Black Blade which is made from Marika’s torn half that leads to her missing eye where I speculate the stone covered Beast Eye/Gloam Eye originated from(keep in mind at which side of her face). Her corpse is likely dead since it’s impaled with a DD spear, her other half being sealed into Maliketh, meaning the Beast Eye that writhes could be the only part of her that still “alive”. Ew.
This eye could very well have been passed down to some of her children as well, particularly the Empyreans.
Melina(Smoldering Butterfly) - she reveals to have the same eye, on the same side of her face in the lord of frenzy ending. Her previously Golden Eye loses its color because the Golden Order is no more and Grace is gone.
Malenia(Aeonion Butterfly)- obviously this is pure speculation but I think the rot that covers her eyes was an intentional creative decision to hide this very secret.
Miquella(Nascent Butterfly) - I’ll get to that…
Ranni - It’s hard to tie Ranni with being a daughter to Marika but her spirit form keeps the same eye closed as Melina. Ranni’s pupil color that she never opens is Gloam and that’s basing it from Melina. I believe they keep them shut to hide their identities as Empyreans.
Shortly after I began to look at Torrent. Particularly about who the former master might be. I scratched my head on that question for a bit and it lead me to two candidates. First one is Miquella. Second is Ranni.
Miquella:
The spectral steed whistle is made of a delicate “goldwork”, not just gold, mirroring the Item Description on the Unalloyed Needle. I didn’t think much of it at first but after seeing the flame of frenzy ending, I’ve speculated that the material is Unalloyed Gold. This is backed by the fact that the whistle is still intact after the flame of frenzy is unleashed. We know that Miquella’s needle is made from the same material and has the properties to ward away the effects of the flame of frenzy and rot, which both originate from outer gods.
Ranni:
This one is less likely but upon inspecting Ranni’s discarded Empyrean flesh, you can see that she had red hair and is missing a 🦶 much like how Radahn is missing both feet. In fact, all of the red haired demigods are crippled in the same way and use some kind of crutch to help them get around(Malenia with her prosthetic feet and Radahn with his gravitational powers, probably Leonard before that explaining his attachment). It might have something to do with the Curse of the Fire Giant since he is found crippled as well. I speculated what Leonard is to Radahn, Torrent was to Ranni before she became a doll.
The more I looked into these two the more parallels I began to see, particularly their rejection of the outer gods and it led me to my biggest tin foil theory. Ranni Is/Was Miquella and Reincarnated as a daughter to Rennala.

I’ll try to explain with my biggest points:
I believe that the Amber Egg Radagon bequethed to Rennala contains the soul of Miquella, and after the Shattering, the Great Rune. I also believe that Rennala is attempting to reincarnate Miquella as Ranni using the rune.(Much similar to how the player is able to change sex, traits, name, Identity, etc.)

Yet their rebirth is not without imperfections, and thus do they repeat the process, eventually becoming utterly dependent upon it.
I speculate that the “imperfections” are happening because of Miquella’s curse(eternal childhood) and until it’s perfected, Ranni(Miquella) will continue to inhabit the doll. Backing up my previous theory, this would also explain why they all have gold/gloam pupils. Interestingly enough, Rennala is very bewitched by the egg. The Bewitching Branch reveals that Miquella had the ability to compel love and affection and if we look close, we can see traces of it inside the egg, particularly the white buds before they hatch. We know anything that’s mixed with the blood or essence of Miquella tends to stay in a premature “infant” form, hence the Haligtree being stuck as a baby version of the Erdtree and now the buds inside the egg.
Another supporting evidence is by looking at the Rune of the Unborn, then looking at Malenia’s. This is backed by the fact that every Great Rune in the game bears a striking resemblance to their twin counterpart.
Mohgs Great rune reads-
“Mohg and Morgott are twin brothers, and their Great Runes are naturally similar.”
Malenia & Miquella(confirmed twins)
Morgott & Mohg(confirmed twins)
Rykard & Radahn
The only one I can’t tie this to is Godrick but it is said he has distant relations. That country bumpkin.
Another key is Ranni’s discarded empyrean flesh(Miquella’s real corpse). Obviously, it’s charred so it’s impossible to tell but you can see the red hair and stature is similar to Malenia(Morgott cutscene shows identical size thrones for Miquella and Malenia, proving Miquella cured his child form) and is wearing jewelry similar to the Godskins, further tying to the DEQ/GEQ.
*Heavy Speculation* There are item descriptions that reveal that Miquella used to be a golden order fundamentalist and my crackpot is he switched sides after he and all of his sibling demigods were born with curses but I think the breaking point was when Marika fell and was betrayed by Maliketh after possibly wanting to free her children, revealing the true nature of the Greater Will. Miquella was the “precious empyrean” chosen as the next heir(which would explain why Mohg wanted to be his consort and why there are oracle envoys in the Haligtree and Leyndell) but instead decided to create his own fate by attempting to cure his childhood form into the Haligtree(why it’s stopped growing) and following Rennala’s teachings about the moon but in order for him to set himself and his siblings free, he would have to slay their two fingers(Finger Reader Crone, Liurnia - The All Hearing Slaughtered) which I believe he did(The missing bit in Malikeths Black Blade is the fragment Miquella(Ranni) stole, explaining the Black Knives guarding the Haligtree). This allowed him to command the Godskins to burn everyone’s Two Fingers with the black flame, also explaining why one is guarding Ranni’s discarded empyrean flesh and why Iji is found burned by the black flames but before she could get to her own they retreated to the stars and are being protected by Radahn. This would explain why Melania marched to Caelid to challenge Radahn and be desperate enough to nuke the place with her scarlet rot. She was serving Miquella(Ranni).
Everyone speculates Miquella has ties to St. Trina’s who’s gender is open to interpretation(The double helix can be seen in Miquella’s needle which depicts the symbol for mercury(Roman God), who represents intersex people). In fact, the item description in the Sword of St. Trina states that he could’ve been a boy or girl. St. Trina is heavily tied to sleep and there is an instance in the game where Ranni enters a deep slumber at the same time as Rogier after he asks you to retrieve her curse mark and she murders the dude in his sleep for prying *shivers*. During her first appearance in the Church of Elleh, the merchant and the donkey are also both asleep and Malenia herself wakes from a deep slumber when first meeting her. I believe she takes the form of St. Trina when she is dream phasing. Also, the juveniles in Rennala’s fight sing about sleep. St. Trina’s torch portrays the figure with one eye (Ranni always keeps one eye open).
A cool factoid about Blaidd is that his breastplate portrays two twins with a tree between, possibly being Miquella, Malenia and the Haligtree, and the double helix from Miquella’s needle can be seen in his Royal Greatsword. Blaidd could very well solve the mystery of their Shadow since they were born at the same time, being twins and all. If his sword does contain properties of unalloyed gold then it would make sense why he’s been able to help Ranni wage war against the Greater Will, right up to the point where Ranni murders her Two Fingers, attacking us at the end of the questline because Ranni(Miquella) is in our pocket as a miniature doll. Speaking of Unalloyed Gold, the Mask of Confidence in particular could hint towards this secret. The gold threads could be unalloyed to hide Miquella’s(Ranni) secret from the Greater Will.
The Miquellean straight sword is modeled after the carian sword but it has amber(just like the egg) instead of Glinstone and the real Loretta can be found at the haligtree tying Caria to Miquella as well. In fact, I personally believe the Albinauric’s(all generations) are Miquellas(Ranni’s) subjects, explaining why half of the Haligtree medallion is in Albinauric village right under Ranni’s moon realm. Coincidence?
After becoming her true consort(Suck it Mohg), Ranni has dialogue where she asks “I take it thou has noticed?” And that her age will not be of “gold” but the “stars”. In her ending, She embraces Marika(her true mother) and vows to finish what they started which is to not be influenced by the outer gods anymore, but to prosper with true freedom and she chooses you to be her consort before creating a massive waygate into the unknown(explains why they’re so small throughout the game, being meant for a “child”). After getting to know Ranni(Miquella) though, I don’t think she’s done with the Greater Will.
Finally, Ranni do sound like a child and that she tiny
The only things that could disprove this is Miquella’s “body” in Mohg’s palace but I believe the it’s nothing but a husk. In fact the game eludes to this since Mohg gets no response and it goes against every depiction of Miquella. The cocoon is likely a smoke screen created by Miquella so that he can wage war and hide from the GW as Ranni. It’s likely he bewitched Mohg, Rennala, Seluvis, Gideon, Malenia etc. Even the player(Weird how we just give her a wedding ring with no explanation). The other thing is Ranni has dialogue where she talks about being chosen as Empyreans and she says I, Miquella(former identity), and Malenia. Could be she’s being tricky with her words in order to protect her TRUE identity(which she’s done before and even commends you for lying to her about Torrent)but who can say.

He's waiting right outside, he's got blood on his hands, right where you start the game there's a dead Maiden. This is not one of the great Mysteries of the game for me. Fromsoft went out of its way to remove rings and replace them with trinkets because we are searching for "Rings" in game. Then one of the first things we get is a Golden Ring that you can use as a whistle and it summons Torrent.
Furthermore. Rannis rune is also a physical ring. The ring of the darkmoon that we slip on her finger in her ending.
Shoot. These theories are kinda tame IMO...
