That’s true, plus that diamonds clarity is on a different level. No one going to be carrying around with that quality trying to compare with your CZ. Both looks the same from a naked eye honestly.
I don't know, to me, the diamond looks cloudy, CZ looks not too different from a diamond, and the tiny difference wouldn't be worth $15K to $40k more, just sayin'
The problem is that CZ will soon lose its brightness, as it's not very durable. But, I'd not in my right mind waste so much money on a diamond or any other overpriced gem.
the things you stated as fact just simply aren't true. CZ shines brighter than diamonds because they're synthetically perfect.. they have the most and best designed facets
I agree. Because cubic zirconia are machine cut, the facets are precision engineered to give them all a beautiful sparkle. They literally have it down to a science. It was different 30+ years ago, but now czs are amazing looking and they're uniform in appearance, making matching your pieces so easy. Diamonds, on the other hand, are cut by hand and so each one can have a multitude of mistakes and often do. I've been watching videos about how to choose a diamond, comparing the same shape diamonds together, and at least 2 out of three diamonds have very imperfect cuts. Some are too deep, some have too small a table, some have poor facet sizes. That's why jewelers have to educate customers about the importance of the cut; with czs, that isn't an issue any more.
I also agree. To me this wasn't a fair comparison. The cz is just as beautiful and sparkly as the diamond but the diamond has 6 prongs and the cz only has 4 and that makes a big difference in the way a stone looks, in my opinion, especially a clear stone. I would absolutely choose the cz in this case over the diamond if it came to saving thousands of dollars or going on vacation. Now if I was a millionaire and had cash to blow, that might be a different story.
You'd have a better comparison had you used a solitaire of each stone in the same setting, with no side stones. The comments in the video serve to 'lead the witness,' lol. Far better to let viewers view with no suggestion of what is better/worse for the stones, then, after they've had a chance, summarize your conclusions at the end. Commenting on the better x of the diamond while folks concentrate on it has the impact of manipulating their perception. When my good friend bought her daughter a cz tennis bracelet like her own, she accidentally mixed the two. They couldn't tell, and the jeweler had to use his equipment to verify which was which - and that tells me that there's nowhere enough difference for naked eye detection. Im assuming that's a 5A CZ stone due to the clarity, but they hold up extremely well when compared side by side to a diamond that easily cost 100x + more
The main advantage of the diamond is the hardness makes it resistant to scratching so it will maintain its clarity longer if you use it as a daily use gem in your ring.
That's true. CZs will scratch easily if you accidentally run them along a rough surface. But if you are a careful person, they can last for many many years.
My diamond was 14k. I purchased a cz on amazon for $35 to see how it compared. The diamond had slightly more brilliance (it was triple X and flawless clarity so it better...) but it was almost identical!!
Yep. The differences aren't readily obvious except in cut quality. And as I said, CZs are the best alternatives to diamonds and is a much better choice than moissanite.
This made me so happy knowing that if I ever get married, my future husband can TRULY give me what I want without breaking the bank. I like the CZ much better than the diamond(:
Sarah I just started buying CZ and I love them. I took off my real diamond because it has grown yellowish over the years. I don't think I could ever go back to buying diamonds again when I can purchase a beautiful 4 or 5 carat CZ.
Without looking at which was which, I picked the man made diamond over the "real" diamond. I don't get why diamonds are so expensive. They not even rare
the diamond shown in the video looks better to the eye, but i think i comes from the better cut. The CZ on the left looks crisp and clear with lots of flare, but the cuts are pretty simple.
Diamonds are just as mass produced as CZ and are hoarded to increase/maintain their value artificially. In a way, diamonds are more artificial than CZ.
The diamond you used in this video is not a good example. A better cut diamond should not have a dark center. It is an indication the proportion is not done right. Many consider CUT as the most important C of the 4Cs. I have seen diamonds that appear bright white at the center. From my readings, diamond cutting is a trade off. If you maximize for the brilliance (the brightness & whiteness), then you lose the fire (the rainbow color sparkles). Most cutters prefer to aim for more brilliance than fire because fire is one of CZ characteristics. You don’t want to spend REAL diamond money on something that sparkles fire like a CZ would.
New CZ stones now comes with heart and arrow 58 facet cuttings and many more complex cuttings to increase its brilliance. Perhaps bracelets are not suitable to use Cz as it constantly has friction against table surfaces. Try moissanite or real lab simulant diamonds for longer lasting lustre.
CZ are nice. For a week or so. I got so much jewellery with CZ and none of them kept their sparkle for at least a year. Even cleaning won't work, they are just scratched badly... And so many CZ seem to be made pretty sloppy just for the money. I would even guess that they make more money with crappy CZ than with real diamonds, lol.
You're just hard on your jewelry. I have czs that I bought 30 years ago that are just as beautiful as when I bought them. The last time they needed cleaning, I put them in the dishwasher and they came out looking brand new.

the captions along side don't make me feel even more slightly into the diamonds, the brightness of CZ(not sure if it's of 5A level) isn't that different from that of the diam...
Wish you let us know the color and clarity of the diamond. If the diamond were to be a I3 G color then there's like a 1.5-2k diff. If it's a VVS E color then that's a SIGNIFICANT price increase.
Diamonds are overpriced. They are pretty, but no ring should cost that much. Who chooses their worth? The ring is a symbol of promise and love. No one should be paying for a ring worth more that 3 paychecks. The symbol of the promise/engagement ring is worth so much more than the price of it.
But the comments reflect that most people don't know what they are looking at.. Therefore, why pay so much more for something that is obviously not terribly distinguishable to the everyday, untrained eye?
Yep. There are plenty of trolls here. Really, it isn't that hard to see which is better. Just look at the amount of dark areas and amount of sparkle coming out from the stones. That said, the CZ is decent.
This is a brand new CZ ofcourse it’s going to shine. Give it a month or less it’s going to look cloudy and then the difference will really show, plus as you can see a major difference in the shine the cz produces colors and the natural diamond has a natural shine ✨ which I prefer if someone sees rainbows coming out your diamonds they’ll know it’s fake
CZ aren't as durable as diamonds, they tend to appear milky over time, especially in contact with soap. If you have a pave of a lot of small CZ they will become milky and impossible to clean, over time. Diamonds will retain their brilliance
Yep. That's true to some extent. CZ degrade overtime and they aren't chemically as stable as diamonds. I personally recommend diamonds as well but that's cost is the big thing here. If you are on a budget, the best way to save money is to buy CZ over any other types of simulants. By the time your CZ degrades, you can always pay a few dollars to buy a new one.
I don't think there's much difference in how they sparkle. To the naked eye they're both gorgeous! I own both and to my eye there's not much of a difference except in price and perhaps durability.
problem with cubic zirc is it doesnt stand the test of time without getting scratches and looking dull after a few years. yes it looks sparkly when it's new but it WILL get dull in a matter of years Then it wont be so sparkly anymore. Also, the diamond in this video is probably not a colorless diamond, hence the slight yellow. if the diamond was colorless it would look better than zirc but itll be hella expensive.
Cubic zirconia lasts two to three years with everyday wear, as long as you clean and care for your jewelry. With occasional wear, cubic zirconia can last up to five years. Over time, cubic zirconia usually gets scratched and becomes cloudy.
Idk how you can say the diamond objectively "performs better." When they are cut the same they are just as pretty and maybe slightly different.... The only thing I noticed is that the natural diamond has a softer sparkle. It's probably a diamond snob thing to care lol 🤣. I love crystals but diamonds are boring (imo), unethical and not even rare... It's like a cursed form of quartz. 😒 Maybe it just because of the video and I'd have a different perspective in person... But the cz seems to have more colors and sparkle. However I've come to know what cz looks like when it's cut simply and have associated it with costume jewelry unconsciously. Still when they are cut the same who cares... Emerald and rubies are way prettier.

Agreed! I don't know why any woman would want their future husband to go into debt to buy something that society tries to convince us that we need. At that point, his money is my money too, and I would not buy the ring for myself so why expect a man to do so?!
Diamonds are a rapper ting 😂 jk but trust my diamond chain drips hard follow me @cexux on insta
Elizabeth wise woman
I mean...just because it isn’t a diamond doesnt mean it’s fake. It’s just CZ
@@elizabethc.z yep I'm with you 100%. Unfortunately, women of this generation don't think this way. A guy's love for you is based on how much he spends on you. I knew a guy who's gf refused to marry him if her ring was less than $10,000. And he actually married her. 3 years later they were divorced. Sorry to say but he got what he deserved. Personally, I'd prefer to have money for our marriage not the engagement or wedding. But that's just me 🤷♀️
thanks , we all know that zirconias has been fooling the eye since the 1970's, those things mounted in beautiful genuine gold or platinum can pass with out magnification
Then why do we buy diamonds still? lol 100% branding
Anteroization absolutely! It’s often the cheap setting that gives it away!
I too can see the difference of CZ and diamond.. I still prefer diamonds
Im assuming that's a 5A CZ stone due to the clarity, but they hold up extremely well when compared side by side to a diamond that easily cost 100x + more
I'm my opinion it's all about the band the CZ stone sits on🤷🏽♀️.
The main advantage of the diamond is the hardness makes it resistant to scratching so it will maintain its clarity longer if you use it as a daily use gem in your ring.
That's true. CZs will scratch easily if you accidentally run them along a rough surface. But if you are a careful person, they can last for many many years.
The hardness difference is only about 1.5 on the Mohs scale.
Also you could replace your CZ 90 times for the price of a single diamond.
I kept asking, which one is the diamond again?
he didn't specify... maybe both of them are CZ 🤣🤣🤣
@@Beyond4Cs really how come better than moissinite
When you shine your phone torch light on both stones inside your house, does the Cz have a grey tone that is almost opaque like?
This made me so happy knowing that if I ever get married, my future husband can TRULY give me what I want without breaking the bank. I like the CZ much better than the diamond(:
Sarah I just started buying CZ and I love them. I took off my real diamond because it has grown yellowish over the years. I don't think I could ever go back to buying diamonds again when I can purchase a beautiful 4 or 5 carat CZ.
Thanks. You just proved that czs are a much better buy and few people would know the difference.
CZ looks wayyyyy better
Without looking at which was which, I picked the man made diamond over the "real" diamond. I don't get why diamonds are so expensive. They not even rare
It’s a monopoly on real diamonds
Id rather a big CZ ring than a small real diamond ring tbh..
the diamond shown in the video looks better to the eye, but i think i comes from the better cut. The CZ on the left looks crisp and clear with lots of flare, but the cuts are pretty simple.
I couldn’t tell the difference. However at home when I have my diamond ring you can tell immediately compared to my cz version.
I thought the CZ actually had a little bit better shine and clarity
Which is the title of this beautiful music, please?
When a comparison between cubic zirconia and moissanite?
What's the clarity on the diamond in the above example?
The only giveaway imho is the hearts and arrows on the diamond. It’s a bit sharper... but that’s a cut difference. The cz is lovely for sure.
Exactly !
New CZ stones now comes with heart and arrow 58 facet cuttings and many more complex cuttings to increase its brilliance. Perhaps bracelets are not suitable to use Cz as it constantly has friction against table surfaces. Try moissanite or real lab simulant diamonds for longer lasting lustre.
im gonna be buying some playful rings with gems made of cubic zirconia! so excited
That cheap axx cz goin ta work! 💥💥💥 Much more prominent and vivid flashes w/o a doubt. It's throwin Mike Tyson uppercuts at me! N that's even at a smaller size. 💪🏽💎 Tha diamond just throwin amateur boxer jabs even bein a bigga stone 💩😑😆😆😆 A diamond cant even appeal ova a cz so yk it ain't standin up against a moissy.
😂😂😂.... that cz was even in a less attractive setting and still outshined the diamond.
I can't tell
Together they are close but by themselves you would have to be an expert.
I'm sure there are a lot of 2 carat zirconias out there posing as diamonds for insurance purposes of course
Ask Kim .
tbh, CZ looks better IMHO
Indeed, it looks ' better ' the first two weeks - than it turns to be milky and dull, cleaning will not help much
1Giuliacoccinella You just lied.. Had this CZ ring for a year now, still sparkles bro lol...
@@1Giuliacoccinella I have czs from over 2 decades ago. Still looks brand new.
I get more compliments on my 6 year old Swarovski's than any other studs. But I do take good care of my Swarv's. No cleaning agents and plenty of polishing. Had the option to buy diamonds a few years ago, (lost a $2000 pair) turned them down because I didnt want the stress. Doesn't matter the closure, I will leave diamonds at home just to be safe. But what good is that?
The zircon looks good enough in my opinion, and I'm a woman.
It's not zircon
where can i find this instrumental?
its amazing
Porn hub
Is the one on the left the diamond I only ask because of what it sits in is it a ring? I can't tell the difference between the two in all honesty?
the captions along side don't make me feel even more slightly into the diamonds, the brightness of CZ(not sure if it's of 5A level) isn't that different from that of the diam...
Cubic Zirconia is the way to go, why spend more money on a stone that shine as equal as a fake one?
Because the CZ will retain it's shine for the first two weeks, while a diamond virtually, forever
It seemed like outside the Cz was sparkling more but the diamond had more color, and inside the diamond sparkles more
What song is this
Wish you let us know the color and clarity of the diamond. If the diamond were to be a I3 G color then there's like a 1.5-2k diff. If it's a VVS E color then that's a SIGNIFICANT price increase.
Meanwhile the CZ is a Flawless D.
i had a cz a long time ago and people constantly gave me compliments on it. plus why not spend the money on better things.
Yep. If you want a more affordable jewelry option, CZ is the way to go.
Diamonds are overpriced. They are pretty, but no ring should cost that much. Who chooses their worth? The ring is a symbol of promise and love. No one should be paying for a ring worth more that 3 paychecks. The symbol of the promise/engagement ring is worth so much more than the price of it.
Would you be willing to buy an asha simulant and do a comparison?
The wider band on the diamond changes the way it picks up light.
That CZ hittin' JUST fine, tha diamond shinin' just a lil harda but fo tha amount of money u'd save, tha CZ is tha betta option, hands down
What's the name of the instrumental band?
My girlfriend wants an Opal engagement ring
I did that, I got a specific Mexican Fire Opal she loves it. different
is better.
You picked the right gf's 💪🏻
what song is this?
I thought the one from the left is diamond
What if they are vintage and come on a ring of 103 diamonds
Please do in 4k
Wish the stones were closer to the camera and they were turned more steadily.
I am quite dizzy after watching that finger manipulation. Where do I sign.
The diamond if anything looks warm and the cz is cool tone. If you told me they were both diamonds I would believe you...
Comments here are weird. If you know what you're looking at, the diamond is the clear choice here
But the comments reflect that most people don't know what they are looking at.. Therefore, why pay so much more for something that is obviously not terribly distinguishable to the everyday, untrained eye?
@@brownskinkinkyhair as with all jewelry, do what makes u happy and don't worry about what other people think 🙂
The clearness of the CZ makes it seem lifeless, even with the fire it can display.
It's not a fair comparison, because the size of the two are different, and the cut apparently is also.
Why are you moving them differently
music name?
I can definitely see the difference but the CZ is more than sufficient for someone with a low budget.
I don't think there's much difference in how they sparkle. To the naked eye they're both gorgeous! I own both and to my eye there's not much of a difference except in price and perhaps durability.
Thanks for saving me from obsession of getting real diamond. I care no more cuz fake one is better lol
Diamonique brand from QVC is brighter & more sparkley than diamonds & lasts a lifetime. I own several.
Agreed. Also, try Berricle. They are amazing. I own several pieces from them
They are both worth noting.
problem with cubic zirc is it doesnt stand the test of time without getting scratches and looking dull after a few years. yes it looks sparkly when it's new but it WILL get dull in a matter of years Then it wont be so sparkly anymore.
My question is
Is cz still a good material
They are if you're not a dummy and drops your jewels all the time :)
Maybe it just because of the video and I'd have a different perspective in person... But the cz seems to have more colors and sparkle. However I've come to know what cz looks like when it's cut simply and have associated it with costume jewelry unconsciously. Still when they are cut the same who cares... Emerald and rubies are way prettier.
Did you mean the left diamond and right zirconia, it does not seem a diamond the right stone of the ring!
Looks the same to me.🤔
Cz is optically better with more fire, but the durability means it’s not suitable for lifetime wear. I prefer moissanite.
Zirconia is clearly displaying more sparkle than the diamond. If you literally count it outdoes the diamond.
I can't even tell the difference. Rarely anyone will ask you to pull out both kinds of rings and compare side by side.
