    Thanks for not adding crappy music like every other video

    Perfect. No wasted words, nor unnecessary ‘music.’ And a nice ride!

    Excellent video, very well presented and clear. However, the best hand guards you can get are a decent pair of leather gloves - PLEASE wear some when you're riding, or risk losing all the skin on your palms down to the bone if you come off!

    Nice video! I have a 2023 Himalayan and it is due for an oil change. I want my kids to help me.

    Great video, but during the riding segment I noticed that it sounds like your chain is too tight. That’s what’s causing that high / low whine in the background. My bike had the same problem. I don’t know why it comes from the factory that way, but loosening the chain just a little bit will get rid of it. Hopefully, no damage done since I’m watching your video a year later.

    anyone have the torque specs for these bolts that were disturbed in this video? great job on the straight and to the point video! appreciate the lack of obnoxious and loud guitar riffs that every other youtube creator seems to enjoy loading up their videos with! cheers!

    Just a tip. If you are going to remove the oil strainer, just leave the drain plug in place, and work only with the 2 8mm bolts that you are taking out anyway.. simpler

    Nice tutorial, do you have schedule maintenance for this kind of motorcycle, or do you make it on videos?

    Terrific video Royal Enfield should post this on their website!! I like your format. I just a well thought out simple design for the oil. Plug and filters so easy to get to. I’m a huge fan of simplicity

    Great vid. Straightforward. But please wear gloves to prevent skin and bone damage in a fall.

    Dealer wanted $600 to do the first 300 mile service. They probably use the cheap oil too, so I did the oil change myself with Motul 300V and the engine runs like a champ now; very smooth, gearbox too.

    Be observant, I just did my first service (300 mile) on my Scram 411 and the oring on the back of the filter cover was missing completely from factory. Been sitting a week waiting on one...

    Excellent video, but I have a question;
    Isn't semi-synthetic oil the recommended one?

  • @FlyingWombats
    @FlyingWombats ปีที่แล้ว

    Two questions.
    1. Do you know what the three washers that come with the filter are for? I know the copper crush washer is for the drain plug but not sure what the tree additional ones are for.
    2. What was the third piece you drained oil from that face the fron wheel?

      @@EC-M4X Ok well I hope you saved it and used in your lawnmower or something.. I just changed my oil.. I looked at the price of Motul at £35 for 4lts or Ipone at £30,, yeah I went with the Ipone.... I did my change slightly different ,, I put on the main stand ,then removed the drain plug ,then the wire gauges then the filter ,,then propped up with some wood on one side and allowed to drain overnight . I change my oil every 2500/3000 miles ,With the new oil the engine is runnin great,,had a great ride today,,,overtook an R1 or was I dreaming!!!! regards

    Is it recommended to take the bike to the dealer to have bolts torqued and whatever else they do for the first inspection?. These motorcycles have some of the best sounds
