PLM is saving Pentax. The only thing that made me switch to Sony was the better AF system. I had the 50-135mm lens with the SDM motor, and that thing hunted like a dog. That's the first lens that needs a new PLM. Optically, it was great.

I have a bunch of Pentax lenses and the most recent is the 150-450, but I’m tending to still use my 300mm because it’s sharper and lighter for walk around stuff.
The 150-450 sits on my tripod and gimble head with my K3-2 and the other on the K3. The cameras are showing their age after a lot of hard use in the tropics but the jury is still out for me on the K3-3 and if it will improve the performance of the 15-450. No rush to get it yet but tempting, watching your clips on it☺️
