This is very funny! First there is a man with a pony tail wearing his orange pyjamas with reflective tape on them. He is trying to take something apart, but isn’t very strong and breaks it. So he gets on his phone. I imagine he is saying I just broke something and made the situation worse. More and more men arrive, but the bridge doesn’t get fixed until a lady arrives and looks around at the problem. When they finally get the bridge to go up, they get a standing ovation. I say standing because most helmsmen (and women) pilot their boats standing up. Now it’s the turn of the bikes and cars to wait. It must have seemed like waiting for a two mile long train to pass. This story was written by a bored old lady (81) in Victoria on the west coast of Canada. PS. I spent three summers in Breda 35 years ago and wish I could go back. 🇨🇦
Well, that took a bit of time; a traffic jam on the canal? A hazard that you don't get on the high seas; only in the inland fleet? Very good photography and it shows it takes many men to fix a hydraulic coupler failure? Thanks, much enjoyed!
Goede mooie video, Shipspotting.
