I had to do this as well...I just went and did all the actuator harnesses at one time so I didn't had to go back in future that's a common problem with Acerts
Yes, I went to dealership later on for the same problem, they replaced my actuators & plugs although actuators were good. Save the money only replace harness and test actuators
Hi, my c15 acert is giving me flash code 94 for #5 and #6 iva solenoid. I did replace both but I’m still getting the flash code and check engine. What do you think could be? Harness? Connector?
Yes, most likely you iva solenoid connectors needs replacement, caterpillar aware of this issue. I bet you, your solenoids are fine. Make sure you connect the wires real good, as it gets hot inside engine. If you still have the faults check your wires to harness, you may find a broken wire or two

My c15 engine does a koncking noise when running a chech engine light is on could the harness be bad?
I would start by finding the fault code before I do anything else. Also, if it’s knocking very bad I would take it to a mechanic

Actuator issues, are not major, but it affects your fuel consumption & performance. My only symptom was fault code
My semi truck does a knocking noise when running and motor shakes when im going over 65 and when accelerating what could it be
@@DavidRodriguez-qs4kn it sounds that you might have an injector issue. You may not have a code but still faulty injector.
