Awesome tutorial, Christine! This is very comprehensive! I like both views but I definitely prefer long sleeves on pretty much any top I wear so it’s great that there is that option here! Enjoy your weekend!

I recommended your patterns to my local fabric shop (Harts) and I got the Mercer (yay) and I want to extend it to make a dress with an A line to highlight the fabric I have (a Japanese wool (crepe i think) with a comic on it that is great...). I would love to hear any recommendations you have to do this in a way that honors your design!

Is this good for beginner sewers?
It would be, but I wouldn't recommend it for a first project. The biggest challenge would be the facing and easing in the sleeves.
