So me and Matt decided to go and give his freshly produced Fiesta ST RT330 REVO's new Fiesta Turbo. He had it on the dyno where he got the turbo install at River Side Racing in Liverpool, a reputable REVO dealer. He made 331bhp and 336 ftlbs of torque.
The car is rapid and once you go above 60mph it pulls like a train. With a BBK, a diff and better tyres this car would be unstoppable. It will surprise a lot of people on the road due to the weight of the car (1153kg).
We did a few small runs against my stage 2 CP mapped ST to show a comparison as well as a timed 20 to 75 pull. We used an android app called GPS acceleration and it isn't the most accurate but the best we could find.

I was in a rt330 powered ST recently in a track day at donington park. Power increase is insane. Exhaust notes are much better and over run sounds tasteful rather than some maps with the stupid pops and bangs that add nothing. Will be getting this fitted to my own stage 2 ST in the next couple of months.

Update: i am getting thus fitted in the next two weeks alongside a custom 8pot big brake kit with 350mm discs. Can you tell me how tje sound of the exhaust is customised. Also do you use a sps switch? If so what ron fuel is your car mapped for?
I have a x37 on my car atm, I’m thinming of changing it out for a 47r. Any suggestions or feed back on why this would be better? Cheers mates

Collby Milton Creative well I have the Go Fast Bits Diverter valve on my x37 hybrid. Not sure if that will work but just in case I did get a turbosmart plumb back. If it turns out I don’t need the turbo smart. Well, I can always get my money back lol
With all this stuff recently about the Ford ecobost engines cracking and catching fire and the the Ford haters doing their best, how come these engines dont keep blowing up with all that extra power being produced?
They're unreal engines mate! Don't need forging till about 450bhp hardly any issues with any I know.
They do, but most people in the UK have not pushed these engines to the limit. Look on the US forums for Fiesta ST tuning and you will see cracked blocks for those wanting uber power from a 1.6, you can only take an engine of this capacity to a certain amount of power, most of those tuners will recommend no more than 380bhp for a none daily car without strenghtening the block and uprating the internals, they point at around 320-330bhp as the reliable sweet spot for the engine, but it will also depend on how the car is treated, its a good engine but also ask yourself why Ford were so conservative with the power output.

I have an ep3 234bhp and a fiesta St 235bhp and civic kills it to 60. Civic is faster too top end. Fiesta is good for low down torque but not so good for everything else.
You turned up the volume for the exhaust! It doesn’t actually sound as loud as that!

@@SOCIALLYDRIVEN or just stood with a shotgun microphone ten feet away like we have here. With a miltek sports system with sports cat and backbox delete running Overrun. Thats exactly how it sounds.
Haha mate it actually does sound that loud. As Matt pointed out I stood about 10 metres away with a shotgun Mic. I actually contemplated turning the volume from 100 to 75 to avoid people thinking it was fake but decide to leave at 100. I can record the sound from the software we used to edit to show you it hasn't been heightened as you say it is 😅

It beat the CP everytime. As soon as we got to high revs the RT330 just totally gaps the CP. The X47R isn't really a competitor of the RT330 at all. We are putting the RT head to head with the VT.

My point was it’s not like you got away that quick considering you state your car has 336 ft lb and that cp car would only be 250-260 ft lb tops. You were racing from low speeds where torque has more of an influence.
As for the X47R comment not being a competitor 😂 thats funny.

We have all the dyno'd results posted up on the linked Instagram that show the torque and HP results. He has the standard smaller turbo so spools quicker that's why for a second or so he seems to lead as soon as the RT spools and boosts it just eats up the road. If we had a legal place to do so the RT would do more impressive results at much higher speeds.
Also your ignoring the comments pointed out that I need new front tyres and got zero traction at first new set of Falkens will make a world of difference.
