- ** UPDATE ** My hair has now somehow gone more of a peachy colour, maybe I didnt fully rinse it out properly but I dont mind the colour of it lol
this was possibly a mistake but my hair was bad at the start too😅
but hey it got the purple/red out!!!!

Just a warning to anyone about to use this. They've changed their formula to a powder and it is MUCH less effective. I'd advise either making sure you have the old formula, which always works very well, or using a different remover.

Indeed, the first time i tried it, it worked just fine. Few months later, i bought it again, it was powder and it did nothing, tried it again tonight, powder again, and yet, no results.
Thanks for the comment, I just checked the reviews on boots and so many people are angry with the new powder formula.
The reviews on Takealot South Africa is also pretty bad. 2020 and 2021 had good reviews... 2022 all bad. so sad :(
Yep I can confirm, I've used it again since and it's no where near as good and it's kinda grainy??? I'm sad this was always my saviour:')
I just used it a few times too. Mine turned ginger. I love it. I think yours didn't look as bad as you think.

I so disappointed with colorb4 that they changed the formula. It was much easier to try different hair colors when I knew colorb4 existed. Because then I felt safe if I ever wanted to take off color and let the hair just be. I haven't found anything good hair color remover like Color b4 earlier formula.. I miss it.

I have found a similar one though, it's called JoBaz Hair colour remover and works pretty well :)

Sometimes, it's annoying, especially when I feel I have finally found a good hair color, and many times I tell myself then that I should now leave it like that. "Do not color your hair. Just let it be. It's a great hair color now. Don't ruin it. " - that is the thoughts in my head. But then, after some time, I found a new hair color that I'm fascinated with, and it goes very impulsive fast. I order the hair color, then boom, it's on my hair, and then it's here we go again.

Yes girl, I'm using it tonight haha.. I did use it yesterday and it's the first time I'm using it twice to see if I get a better result🤔 I've used it for years mind and have come it in some mad colours 😂 Yours actually went perfect tbh it suits yah!❤

It is so good. If you bleached it off it will be so damage. So it really do its thing.

I don't know if I missed you saying it but was your dye demi? I have demi permanent red dye and want to go a lighter ginger.
It was a permanent dye, but I imagine it'd work the same on demi permanent 😊
How do you remove the bad smell in the Hair? My Hair smells for weeks when it was wet.
I tried it before about 2 years but now i'm scared to Ruin my Hair.
I had that problem too! Its not a nice smell at all especially when I straightened my hair, I've just looked it up and apparently mixing baking soda and lemon juice works! And just make sure you deep condition it as it dries the hair a bit x
its gross isnt it !! sulphur ... yuck
I use soap and glory dry shampoo every day as its a lovely smell and stays on all day to try and mask it !

Yeah the bigger bottle B is about half full, I think that's to fit part A in though :)
If I use this on my box dyed hair how long do I have to waot to dye it again with more box dye??
According to the instructions you can dye it straight away :)
I think if your going to be bleaching your hair you should wait a day

the smell is absolutely awful and i can still smell it after i washed it out and tried baking soda & lemon :/ i will bleach it now tho. Do u think the bleach will remove the smell?
It is bad I know, it will fade though I just waited for the smell to go:') bleach might help, just be careful not to damage it too much. I'm not sure what else would work tbh as I haven't tried any of the methods, maybe try using a shampoo and conditioner that smell nice, could help to mask it x other than that id say google it haha :')
Hiya! Question for ya, does this work on toner? My hair was previously bleach blonde. I went to a salon and she split dyed it brown - which really ended up black. She said she used toner - not dye. I have used the vitamin C and head and shoulder stripping technique around 4 times and I’m at a warm brown but near my roots are still the darker color for some reason. Will this take me back to blonde?
Hey! Hmm I see, that's happened to me before, I asked for light brown and it goes almost black :') if I'm being honest, I'm not 100% sure, but this extra strength one does a good job at removing hair dye and should lift it to near a blonde, especially if you're at a warm brown at the moment. Every time I've used it its done the job anyway :) I hope this helps a bit, and good luck if you do try it!
Oh another thing, sometimes after using colour b4, it can fade back slightly to the colour you had before which is weird, but yeah, it should help with the lightening process anyway:') as long as you're prepared for the smell of it lol
My hair is damaged rn. Did this damage your hair by any chance. Ive bought it im just scared to use it.
Mine was very damaged:') no it didn't noticeably damage my hair, it felt a bit more dry but using conditioner and a hair oil helps alot :)
So if I used this on my now purple/red hair would my hair be my natural colour(brown) or orange x
It depends how many times you've dyed it, it may go lighter similar to my colour, however mine faded to a more peachy colour so you might need to use it twice to get all the dye out x if its permanent dye on your hair it wont go back to natural, hope that helps 😊
Hello! I have a question, I bleached my hair, dyed it purple a few weeks after. When I remove it, it'll go back to the bleach colour right? If so, will toner help make it go a blonde ish colour? X
Hello😊 I would think so yes, it depends how light your hair got to, if its a darker colour id say put a dark blonde toner on it and it should be okay :) x

As long as its colour remover and doesn't have peroxide in it no I don't think it matters 😊 x

Hiya. Hope your well. Is ginger your natural hair colour. Only cause the box says it strips to your natural hair colour so mines redish brown will this make my hair go back to brown without the red
Hey :) hope you are too. My natural hair colour is dark brown, if your hair has been dyed with a permanent dye chances are it would have lightened your hair, so if you use this after a permanent one it could go a gingery colour, it all depends on what dyes you've used in the past :)

If your hair has been bleached before it helps make it look lighter :) then id just put a coppery/orange dye on top maybe x

Aw you should be fine! I didnt have any more hair falling out than normal, the only thing I noticed was that it was a bit drier than it usually is. I mean I used it after bleaching it 3 times a few years ago and I still had a head of hair (somehow)😂
@@JustSophiesChannel haha that's great, I had a hugeeeee bleach fail 7 months ago and half my hair fell out so I had to put black semi permenant dye on it but now I really want rid of the black dye so I got arctic fox aquamarine dye :)

I used this 4 weeks ago to take my grey dye out and it took me back to blonde but fast forward to now my hair is grey again!!! 😆😆 did this happen to anyone else?
Yeah mine faded back to a peachy colour for some reason😂 its so weird:')
Basically there are still some pigments left behind and they re-oxidised. The buffer is designed to bring that out straight away, but it doesnt always fully work. You can do another colour remover though because, in theory, those pigments are close to being removed.

Dont know weather to use this my hair is natural blonde that I did bleach to brighten up a few months ago then I wanted a drastic change so died it mahogany that went orange then put a chocolate brown on top my blonde roots are now showing and want to be blonde again but will it make it orange?
Hmm it depends on the type of dye, red can be quite difficult to get out sometimes, is your hair very dark at the moment?
It may go the colour mine did, however it turned more of a peachy colour after washing so make sure you rinse it out with the buffer shampoo a couple times if you do plan on using it :) it might be worth getting a dark ashy blonde toner to help if it goes too warm x

Hey! That is a common colour when using this, I've found anyway:') it won't go back to your natural colour if its been lightened, what colour is it atm? 🙂

Ah right okay, it would most probably go the same colour as mine then yeah, if u look at my hair in the "devyn crimson" video thats the colour it faded to :) safest bet is to put a light brown dye on after if that's what you're aiming for x
