I love how the titles have been getting more and more unhinged as the season gets closer. I'm excited for the title for week 1 if this keeps up. A lot of pent up emotional energy released.
I can't wait to see Rodgers on the Vikings in a few years.
He won't even be in the league in a few years.
A year. Cousin’s contract is expiring, Rodgers probably won’t like the big apple, he loves the type of environment Minnesota is, he seems like he possibly would like some of the politicians in MN, but more importantly he has lots of respect for the Vikings and some disrespect towards the Packers’ office.
@@chrisanders713 ESPN needs to start the retirement watch now. Yknow, for the ratings.
But first he needs to send some, uh, highly personal pics to someone who works for the jets, right?
Suddenly..I feel smart
We've been down bad for a long time. Having a successful QB finally means anythings possible 🤞🏾✈️
Hope he works out for yall but doubt it.
I don’t think that means what you think it means.
racist@@chrisanders713
not anymore
1:06:27 Most minor correction of all time, but I gotta do my Pennsylvanian duty. The 'u' in Kutztown is pronounced like the vowel in "book" or "should". It's not like "cuts".
I'm sure this information will be very impactful going forward.
This title describes my exact mood right now getting ready for the season. Really excited to have Aaron Rodgers and cannot wait for the season to start even if I’m more likely to be disappointed
Ironically enough, Both baseball teams are so bad, I think everyones moved on to football. Yankees look like cheeks too.
I love how they talk about how people learn. I’m a teacher and studying to get my Ed.D and this is such a huge part of what I do.
It's massively important!
One of my favorite segments that we did all summer. 💪
Afc East time FINALLY THE DIVISION IVE BEEN WANTING TO HEAR ABOUT. so stoked
BEEN WAITING ALL SUMMER FOR THIS ONE BRETT AND EJ LETS GOOOOOOI
Loving the Kollman curse.
I'm watching this as I fly from JFK airport home to SFO. The amount of Jets merch I saw being worn is telling. The hype is real, and NYC is ready for their long useless football team to step up this year.
EJ you're talk on everything about institutional design is so fascinating to me. I'm not sure where to start but this sounds like something I need to look into.
I get the vibe of how much more valuable better teachers/communicators are at the coaching staff level. Its how CEO HC types like Pete, Daboll and other guys were great at getting the individual athletes they want and make the most out of their (limited) experience and achieve team winning results. Which hilariously I've been hearing a recent report about HC Josh McDaniel being asked about what he could improve on. His answer being 'he needs to be better at communicating to players' is worrisome and ultimately reminds me why he won't work as an HC ever despite his acumen for running a pro style NFL offense.
That background is fire 🔥
“Anybody who has been a fan of the jets for multiple decades has seen some shit”
Ain’t that the fuckin truth
Let’s go! Great episode
“This went from a bar to a sledgehammer in half a second” same dawg same 😂😂
That Pacifico is calling for me to ditch work, look for an hammock and enjoy this Jets talk.
Sounds like a very solid plan.
Great job fellas
Fuckkk yes finally! Haha I’ve been waiting for y’all to come out with the jets video for a hot minute 🎉
As a man that lives on Long Island I'm excited. And I'm a steelers fan haha
Podcast mvps
The E.J.'s Calf is getting bigger every episode
as a jets fan seeing this much hype is crazy
I am also a person who failed Algebra 1 three times and passed Geometry easily the first time with little effort. I though i was the only to be that way, its crazy looking back on it. You'd think if you can do one you could do the other.
They use very different parts of your brain so nope you aren't. I didn't fail algebra but struggled, a lot, when I got to Trig. Breezed through algebra and helped my classmates (who were awesome at algebra, but struggled with geometry) through too.
I was already scared for the season to start, and now the title has to call my intentions out explicitly. Dang dude, dang
Ul-"BRICK" . . . coach Brick for short. . .And he came (directly) from Atlanta, and there was some doubt whose defense it would be in the beginning.
Babe wake up, it’s time to actually be excited for a jets season
Cant wait to have a Pacifico and lime when I get home tonight
As a Dolphins fan who lives in Wisconsin, I am waiting with baited breath for the Rodgers-Jets experiment to dramatically implode
That feeling in the back of your head. It exists. - jets fan
What a title!
This aged pretty well with 2 udfa recievers making the initial 53 for the reasons you mentioned
all time video title
The title come on man you're not wrong but didn't have to say it lmao
another top tier title.
Correction at 50:50 Lawson and Whitehead were not brought back just surprisingly not cut. Whitehead was also restructured.
W list, W TH-camr
This superfluous praise is unwarranted given that this beloved staff is responsible for the 2nd half collapse.
I'll reserve judgment on Hackett. However, last season the ill-conceived offense fell apart when the already suspect OL got injured. That same OL is already on life support in pre-season.
That title is uncalled for lol
Your analysis may be spot on but I think how good the uniforms look matter more to me as far as rooting for different teams. I don’t like that green and white
I'm hype to see them get the 1 seed, only for Rodgers to throw to a double covered Wilson 40 yards down field.
While Lazard was open on the crosser underneath on 3rd and 4.
This is the Rodgers way baby
Not looting forward to watching static formations and staring down 1 WR every play tho
The Broncos game will be interesting just because Payton invited the jaw jacking. I don't expect much out of Hackett really because the only reason he's in the building is because of Rodgers and what he gets to do.
I've been a jets fan my whole life and I've never seen a Jets playoff game... I'm 16
I started really watching football in 2002. As a bills fan, it took like 16 years for me to see a playoff game. Hang in there lol
At least the Mets got some good prospects. That’s equivalent to draft picks right?
Excited to watch them in the regular season then lose in an absolute CLASSIC of a divisional game.
Brooooooooo let's relax on my Mets hahahaahaah
The fact the Jets took on Cajuste + Carter Warren, and Mehki is trying to return from injury is just really suspicious to me, that outside O-line is going to be torn apart by the Bills, the Patriots, and the whole NFC east. This could get ugly, and it's not going to be Aaron's fault at all.
If there is def one thing that hampers the Jets potential is their somewhat swiss cheese O-line. I don't trust old man Duane Brown to hold up either. BB and Fangio are definitely going to bring the pressure.
Inside pressure is where Rodgers really struggles. Having good guards and center are probably the most important.
So the Jets drafting a developmental OT on day 3 to be OT5 is concerning to you? And signing a crappy NFL vet to be a camp body, never even making the 53(cut already), is somehow an issue?
That's not actual analysis, you are just looking to push an agenda.
OT is a concern because neither presumed starter is a full go atm. But don't exaggerate. The Jets beat the Bills with no AVT, no Becton, Brown hurt, no Breece, no Corey Davis, and Zach Wilson at QB. Having one or two holes is normal for contending teams, no team is ever perfect. Don't act like we should fear the Bills when basically our 2nd string offense from this year beat them last year. They have their own OL problems, as does the rest of the AFCE for that matter.
Its too early to panic on OT. DB is by all indications good to go but they are just giving him vet rest rather than risk his body in his 18th year for some practice reps. Becton is probably hopeless to expect much from. Mitchell and Turner should be serviceable backups, if the other 4 OL are good and play near their talent level it will still be an above average unit overall even with backup RT play.
If Mitchell/Turner are that bad at RT, AVT can play tackle more than adequately and the Jets have Tippmann waiting in the wings to fill his spot on the IOL if need be. In a division with monster Dlines and suspect OLs, the Jets are arguably the best in the trenches. They certainly have the most depth if you combine OL and DL.
I don’t dislike the picks but I can’t help imagining the offense if instead they took Quinten Johnson and Dawand Jones.
As a giants fan, their is gonna be almost 0 pressure on the Giants this year because of the Jets. Also, I’m rooting for Aaron to have a big year with the jets.
Maybe it’s cuz I don’t live in the New York/New Jersey area, but why do Jets fans get….idk how to put it…talked down to? Like, a couple times in this video I heard “calm down Jets fans” or, “I know that’s not what you wanted to hear Jets fans” or something to that effect. Is it just me?
As a proud Long Islander, let us say that some of us like winning. We're known as Giants fans. (THE LATE 2010s DIDNT HAPPEN. SHUT UP.)
Kutztown is also one of the best rugby teams in the country
My only issue is that a ceiling meaning everything goes right being 11 wins is still too low and not indicative of their truencielinn
I feel like it's been wildly inconsistent the whole series, you'll have 11 here and then the same amount for Chicago's ceiling despite completely different rosters
yeah 11 is kinda insane, that's a hard disagree. Just looking at their schedule and the amount of low scoring games the defense kept them in, they easily win 12 or 13 if they have rodgers last year lol
I’m burnt out by the Jets attention and I’m a die hard fan. I’d rather be a stealth jet going into the season then a Concorde
As of today the Mets just lost two the braves by a football score. 21-3 lol
Patriots title: The bad man is gone he cant hurt you anymore
I will be rooting for Jerome Kapp, and by the way, the kutz in kutztown is pronounced like putz.
I'm done with the Mets too lmao
Kingpin: "Let's go Mets!"
The defense will regress a bit (because that’s just how defense is) and Rodgers has slowed down a bit but neither of those are big concerns. It’s not even the pass rush that isn’t elite despite the assets they’ve invested in it. The biggest problem is the O-line. The tackles are old and/or injury prone and the depth is non-existent. But if that holds up this is easily a playoff caliber team with an 11-win ceiling.
I don’t get the doubt about rodgers like everyone said he’s washed then won mvp 3 & 4
Jets fandom: it’s like being the child of divorce waiting for your deadbeat dad who promised to pick you up for the weekend but never shows up and never gave an update. OH THE PAIN BRO
That does sound like pain.
Did that happen to you?
@@ethanrichard4950 Jets fandom yes. Child of divorce? No. That kid got off easy
it's 5 minutes to 4am here and I'm watching this because Jets fans need some goodness sometimes. And I'm not even a Jets fan.
Too bad Nathaniel Hackett is maybe the worst head coach I've ever seen in my life
I think the opening take is the right one. Forget the love/hate fest that always surrounds Rodgers. Just think of the poor long-suffering Jets fans and damn they deserve just a little sunshine. Think of how awful it would be for them if the Rodgers thing fails horribly (it probably won't, but you never know). What if he plays bad and then gets hurt early in the season? The collective horror creeping through the souls of that fanbase might just open up a portal into the the 5th plane of hell.
My family (Jet fans since the AFL days) are already taking bets on how many games A-Rod gets before major injury. The current line is about 6.5 games😂
Let me now guess the rest of the division titles:
Well, I guess the Patriots are officially in the QB and HC wilderness
The Miami Dolphins might be faster than the US Track and Field team
The Buffalo Snakebites should have won the Lombardi last year
I think the Patriots title is gonna be along the lines of “Sorry the Patriots aren’t gonna be as bad as you want them to be” and it’s just gonna be Brett trying to curse them talking about how good Demario Douglas is and how good their defense is.
@@zoomcat5138 He touches on Pop Douglas for 2 minutes then when he goes to the defense, he gushes about the potential of Marte Mapu in BBs system playing dime safety.
Don’t be overly impressed with what Hackett said. I mean he had nothing. He couldn’t say no I actually did a good job or our coaches were amazing or the team organization was not my problem. You could say none of that.
To be fair our first six games are the most important, it's a big deal to have a healthy breece vs the bills, eagles, cowboys, patriots, chiefs so I disagree with your take on "who cares about September"
The Eagles had a great September last season (with a buzz on Hurts for MVP) but what cemented them to make the push for the SB was their gutsier performances toward the 2nd half of the season. Defense had some injuries so they were hoping to get everyone healthy by the playoffs. Along with Hurts and the receivers knowing when they just had the edge against defenses to run whatever they want and get points.
Best QB ever??? But they had Favre
I DONT WANNA HEAR IT THE METS BEAT THE CUBS PETE IS DADDY 4 2 RUN HOMERS IN THE SERIES TF YOU MEAN (yeah I know the Mets suck)
E.J is like earl campbell with those big ol’ thighs
jets and their fans deserver nothing
Aaron Rogers is washed tf up. They drafted poorly too
ungodly mets stray lmao
My prediction: the Jet's o-line is weak. Rogers sustains an injury and misses significant time. It will be the same old Jets because their front office hasn't addressed the tackles, which is why Wilson and Darnold were running for their lives.
Last time the jets got a hall of fame Green Bay QB the dolphins won the division. Let’s see if we’ll have 2 nickels by the end of the season…
I was abducted by green people
If I’ve learned anything being a life long nfl fan it’s the team that wins the offseason never wins the actual season and the jets will be the jets
We never learn.
the eagles had a very good offseason and went to the super bowl
How about when Tom went to the bucs or when Peyton went to the broncos? Both teams were good the next year…bucs won a SB
@@owendunn8676 Tom going to the Bucs at that time needs some context. Bucs had legit top 10 receiver weapons and their pieces on defense were top 10 capable as well. They fit the absolute profile of 'they just need a QB while shoring up depth' and they could pop. It also helps that the easiest road to the SB was dominating the NFC since the AFC had Mahomes gate keeping in January. Even heavy hitters making the NFC playoffs had legit flaws like the Packers (defense), Niners (QB play), Rams (until 2021 at least) or whoever came out of the NFC.
I cannot understand why the Jets went after Rodgers, after just last season seeing what happened to the Broncos and Colts for getting veteran QBs who aren't that good anymore. Just wasting years.
Peyton Manning? Tom Brady? Matthew Stafford? All very similar situations, all won Super Bowls.
"I cannot understand why the Jets went after an all-time great"
Calling it right now. Jets miss the playoffs, Pats make it.
Jets are gonna go up in flames faster than the Hindenburg.
I strongly resent the Jets for having one of those CBs who is arbitrarily allowed to commit pass interference
On behalf of Long Island, we are GIANTS fans
